Description of Work: We used Gover Brothers McMillin Realty to sell our home in Chula Vista and to purchase a new home in La Mesa.

Description of Work: I used the service of a real estate agent from Gover Brothers McMillin Realty for real estate service. We were trying to buy a house and try to sell ours but it just didn't work out.

Description of Work: My husband and I wanted to buy a new home, make the move, and then sell out first home. I knew it was a tough market and I was hoping to avoid a long, drawn out process. I was referred to the Gover Brothers and was told they move homes quickly. Matt and Joe were very well-informed and professional. My husband and I knew we could trust them. They came to out first meeting with their homework done. They were able to set up a game plan regarding our home search and a strategy about the pricing of our current home. They took us out looking for a home right away and were very knowledgeable about the different areas of San Diego. They ended up finding the perfect house for us! We made an offer immediately. Matt and Joe were able to get the seller down $20K in price. The appraisal came in higher than what we paid, so needless to say my husband and I were very pleased. Once we were done with the move, we turned around and listed our 1st property with them. They were very proactive and creative in their marketing strategies. They took the ball and ran with it: open houses, social networking, and door knocking. They did much more than your typical agent. Our house was on the market for 5 days and we received 18 offers! We made money even in this market. Their pricing strategy was spectacular! In fact, when we listed our home, there were several other homes on the market in our neighborhood. We closed escrow in less than 30 days and those other homes are still sitting there. The Gover Brothers got our house sold and conducted themselves ethically and professionally the entire time. I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family.
