Frank came out and surveyed my drainage problem. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice. I'm about to begin a room addition project and therefore don't want to have another big project going at the same time. When my room addition project is complete I will revisit the drainage project.

They came out originally because we had water damage, they initially recommended someone else. They didn't think the deck needed to be replaced yet, they recommended that we just find the source of the water because they thought the it was coming from the wall and not the deck. The other company gave quotes but we decided to go with them and do a full replacement. He was very upfront about the prices and duration of the job and I appreciated that. When he came out for the quote he made sure he found a solution to ensure that it wouldn't happen again with the new deck. They didn't even need to come inside of my house. Everyone was quick and professional. He went above and beyond!
Description of Work: They had to remove the existing deck, added slopping drainage for pooling water.

WE E-MAILED SOUTH COAST REGARDING OUR DECKING NEEDS AND RECEIVED A PROMPT E-RESPONSE. HOWEVER, WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BROADER SCOPE OF WORK THAN IT PROVIDES. BECAUSE ANGIE'S LIST IMPROPERLY REQUIRES A EITHER A YES OR NO RESPONSE [AS OPPOSED TO I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS THE ONLY RESPONSE POSSIBLE IF I DON'T HIRE THE COMPANY] TO WHETHER I WOULD OR WOULD NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR A FUTURE JOB, I AM CHECKING ''NO''.

THEY WERE REFERRED BY A GENERAL CONTRACTOR FRIEND. THIS WAS A DIFFICULT JOB - OLD HOUSE - NOT OBVIOUS EXACTLY WHERE THE LEAK WAS. THEY DID THE WORK, THEN THE OWNER CAME AND WATER TESTED THE DECK. THERE WERE STILL A COUPLE OF LEAKS, SO THEY RETURNED AND RESEALED ALL AROUND THE FLASHING.
Description of Work: HOT MOPPED AND APPLIED COMPOSITION ROOFING TO LEAKING 200 SQ. FT DECK.
