BUSINESS OVERVIEW: Here at Slip Obstruction Systems, we are the licensed distributor in San Diego, California for the Sure Step slip-prevention chemical treatment. We treat any mineral surface such as ceramic and porcelain tile, luxury stone flooring, glazed brick, uncoated concrete and porcelain enamel bathtubs and shower tile. OUR SERVICE AND VALUE - We completely install, neutralize and remove our chemical treatment at your facility. Our cutting edge treatment does not change the surface appearance at all (non-etch), and does not harm the integrity of the tile or surface what-so-ever. Our chemical reactions create a micro-tread change that is invisible to the naked eye, but yield a friction increase (when wet) of upwards of twice the safety standard. Our mission is to provide slip-prevention safety with both form AND function. No more unsightly mats, wet floor signs, sand-paper tape strips - We take pride in leaving you no 'visual price to pay'. Keep your floors, patios, pool decks and baths beautiful AND safe. BACKGROUND, STAFF AND TRAINING: -over 25 years in the hospitality industry and management. -over 13 years owning and operating a uniform company (local distributor of a major non-slip shoe brand) - we recognized the significance of a safe, environmentally friendly chemical treatment that brings slip-prevention to otherwise very concerning surfaces we stand and walk on everyday. As the licensed distributor of a global brand, our staff is highly trained and professional. Clean, respectful and courteous (including Covid vaccinations, masks and clean shoe-cover booties!), we inspect the treatment area, perform our work, and leave the area just as we found it (often better, actually, as our chemical doubles as a spectacular surfactant leaving your floor in showroom quality).

We are in the business of safety - we apply the Sure Step non-slip chemical treatment to already existing mineral surface floors and baths. BEFORE YOU CHOOSE EPOXY FLOORING - Consider us as a better, safer and less expensive option. Keep your existing flooring - without the plastic coating, messy installation and lower coefficient of friction (our treatment DCOF rating generally achieves 0.71 to 0.84)
