We were ask by the HOA to contact Sid's Carpet to set up an appointment for them to come out and give the HOA a bid for replacement of tile due to a sewer back up caused by trees in the common area . I called and left Jim with Sid's Carpet a message to contact me so I can set up an appointment for him to come out to the property, because we have tenants in the property and wanted to coordinate times. Jim just showed up at the property with no appointment or phone call. I called his Manager Rick to let him know how I was unhappy that Jim showed up at the property nor did he return my phone. I tried again to set up another appointment with Jim to come out to the property. He refused and said I could come to their Miramar location to discus the tile installation and pick out tile that he has already been out to the property. I had e-mail Jim pictures of the tile in the kitchen, so he could give me suggestion on the tile to stay within the HOA budget. I asked for suggestion in case I came to the store and Jim wasn't available I could save time since I was driving 30 mins one way to meet him. Jim never returned my e-mail or called. I followed up with the HOA to let them know I haven't heard back from Jim and found out Sid's Carpet Barn did not want to work on project. Jim and Sid's Carpet Barn is very unprofessional in the dealing with the public. I feel because I wasn't paying the bill they could care less about us or our Tenants. I will never ever use Sid's Carpet Barn again. I have used the National City location in the past and had great success this experience has ruin it for me with working with this company.

They installed the carpet in the same week that I made the order. The new molding was installed 3 days later. Both jobs were done extremely well. These folks know how to do things the correct way. They have the proper tools and the experience. The sales people and the installers are very professional.

. We wanted bullet proof flooring and were convinced that's what we purchased. Then when the flooring was completely installed, after a $1,500 cork upgrade on subflooring, the installer told us not to get the floor wet....ever. Also, the flooring has many visible humps, and the flooring took two weeks longer than the original two day estimate. It took a week and a half just to get two transitions put into place. I called and shared this with Rick and Jim. The installer and Jim met me at the installation site. When I asked them about getting the floor wet they disagreed. This is after it had been installed. When I showed Jim the humps in the flooring I got no response or offer to fix th

I used the San Marcos location - Barbara was my sales person. She was super helpful, knowledgeable and did not try to upsell me - she was accommodating and showed me all the selections and gave me samples that fit into my budget. The install also went very well. The installers were on time and did a great job.

Our experience with them was not bad. We just had a hard time scheduling. It was not smooth. They did the job. I wouldn't say they went above and beyond. They were decent. They were fine. There were a couple of mistakes, and they had to come back out. It took tacking a little bit, but they were pretty responsive on that.

They were very responsive and did the installation in a very tight timeline. I was very happy with their service and was pleased that they were able to do the install within a couple days. I would use them again.
