Shawn Tate checked off all the boxes of my project. Cabinets were refaced with modern, Shaker style painted in white color doors and drawer fronts, and frame was finished do match them. I picked quartz slabs for my countertop and they did fabrication and installation, they installed a new tile backsplash, new appliances and did some cabinet modification to accommodate new appliances. Daily updates, punctual, high quality workmanship, professional attitude. However, the most impressive part of working with Shawn was the human aspect. You just LIKE when people actually care about your house, your belongings and the job you hired them to do!!!

I had been asking my husband for a while to repaint the interior of our house to the colors I wanted and since he was too busy we had to hired someone else to do it. Picking out a contractor was sort of difficult because a lot of them were just trying to close in the contract and not paying attention to what i was saying or what i even wanted. They literally just kept going along with me. When I spoke to Shawn on the phone I could hear it in his voice how seriously he took his job and that was one of the reasons I hired him. I wasn't quite sure about how I wanted to go about the colors so Shawn showed me which colors would go best with my home. Shawn took care of the whole process and honestly they made it feel like a breeze! Now I feel that my house is so fresh and feels newly renovated lol. I really recommend Shawn for any type of work you need. He really outdid himself and on top of that has a really good portfolio as well as references. Thank you Shawn!

I asked for an online estimate for a balcony repair. Shawn was out of town at the time, but immediately drove over to my place on his return to check it out. I ended up using another contractor, but wanted to give Tate and Son a shout out for their promptness and professionalism.
