After researching many roofers on Angie's List and reciving mulitple bids, I chose to work with Rudy's team at Sequioa Roofing. Rudy was response, professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. The entire work cost me $4000.00 which included the Angie's List discount. Rudy's team arrived as scheduled, performed great work and throughly cleaned up around my home once the work was completed on my ceramic tile roof. Sequoia Roofing also included a 10 year labor warrenty and installed a 50 year product warrenty on Interwrap even after my solar installation is completed by Baker Electric.I highly recommend Seqouia Roofing. Their work is quality and their pricing is extremely fair.

I had previous work done by Sequoia so went back to them when I needed a re-roof of my new house. They did not disappoint. Mike is courteous and professional. The roof install was well-priced, was on time, and went smoothly. I also had Sequoia put in a solar installation. Mike took time to explain the benefits and he won the deal with one-stop shopping service. I was very satisfied and would recommend them to friends and family.

We had an excellent experience with Sequoia. They did a wonderful job with the project, communicated well about the work (scheduling, what they were doing, what they found, etc), and the roof looks fantastic. We had some minor damages from the work process (a tile falling from the roof and breaking a sprinkler head) and a nail through an A/C line in our garage. Sequoia promptly paid for these repairs and was very fair. I highly recommend them.

Sequoia is an outstanding roofing company. Rudy Turner managed the whole process. He came to inspect our roof and gave a competitive quote. He followed up with samples of shingles and answered all our questions thoroughly. During the tear off and roofing, he coordinated closely with the crew, and quickly resolved all issues. The roofing crew was excellent. They communicated well with us, and did top quality work. They also coordinated well with a general contractor who was replacing some siding. The best thing about Sequoia is that they care a lot about Customer Satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy about all aspects of the job.

Sequoia showed a level of trustworthiness and professionalism that one doesn't often find these days, not even charging us for the inspection. I would highly recommend them to anyone with any sort of roofing problem.

Contacted them due to outstanding reviews for a roof estimate. The owner called me back promptly and scheduled for the next day. He was exactly on time for the estimate, and was very personable and professional. His estimate was very competitive, but I ultimately went with another contractor that had equally great reviews and was running an Angie's Big Deal. At the end of the day, $2000 is $2000 no matter how much I like the person. To be fair, Sequoia offered a 50 year warranty with their products while the competition only offers 25, but I plan on moving in a couple of years anyway so i dont need the extra protection in my specific situation. If I planned on staying in this house longer I would have likely opted for Sequoia to do the job. I would definitely recommend this company, and I will consider them in the future if i require more roof work.

It went Very well. We are very happy with the solid workmanship of the crew and professionalism. They cleaned up the mess as expected. The job was done within the time stated. We just have to prime and paint the new wood trim when we get a chance. Next job coming up. We have had a rain since and the problem areas are all fixed, happily.

Was low bidder. Provided a superior product. Did a great job, on time, polite, friendly, clean up was well done, would use them again.

I had called four roofers, all listed as "A" rating. Two didn't call for a few days, and when they arrived to work up a proposal, I had asked at the same time, what the cost of a new roof would be, as well as just to repairing the present leaks. I did not receive an email or phone call from them, at the time that i was told they would be in touch.I had to get in touch with them, and I was told they had no record or could not find their proposals for our address. When I did receive them it was over a week. The third company, I felt was just lacking. Mike of Sequoia Roofing called back within hours and worked out a time that he the owner, would be able to do the inspection. His proposal arrived, at the time I was told. The proposal had varying options that could be added if wanted, with the costs. All questions were answered with promptness and knowledge. When my wife and I went to the office to sign the contract, he made certain that all our doubts or other questions were answered. We decided to go with his recommendations, for a few reasons. The price he quoted was much lower, than my wife and I thought, from other prices we heard about. They started the demolition at the time they said they would, and finished the job when they said it would be finished. Clean up was minimal, because of the way they worked. Mike kept us informed on a daily bases, either by phone, text, or email. We are very pleased and extremely satisfied with the Sequoia Roofing family and product.. We have recommended them to our neighbors ( they are using them) and friends.

I initially signed up for a special to have loose tiles repaired and have roof inspected, knowing I had some leaking in the exterior and interior entryway. Mr. Cisneros did a good job and took copious photos so that I could see the damage and what really needed to be done. I received the contract via email and signed it, scanned it and emailed it back to Sequoia Roofing. Mr. Cisneros was very responsive and timely. There were quite a few workers here all day. They were professional and polite. It has since rained and there is no more leaking. Aesthetically, the roof looks fine. They did a good job of matching replacement tiles. During the rain storm that followed, I noticed a stream of water coming down over a large window area, extending out, so that it no longer runs down the window. This is a huge improvement. I will call on Sequoia Roofing in the future. I am very pleased with the end result.

It went like clockwork. They started on the day promised, cleaned up daily, and finished by the date originally estimated. They even added the task of taking down two stucco chimneys (at our request) and still finished on time. They also discovered and corrected a shoddy (sloppy and also not to code) flashing job done by another vendor on a new chimney we were having put in. One of the very few vendors we used on our remodel who required no supervision or constantly checking their work by us. They did their work thoroughly and with attention to detail, good quality work, and a desire to do things right so that their work stands the test of time and mother nature. We used Sequoia in February 2010 to do a leak repair, and they also did an excellent job at that time. We cannot say enough positive about the company, the owner, their workers, and their work.

Who knew reroofing could actually be a pleasant experience? I've been dreading having to re-do a roof since becoming a homeowner. When it was no longer possible to ignore the need, I made the dreaded phone calls to get estimates. Sequoia was very friendly on initial contact, and the estimator, Rudy, was at my house within two hours! He was friendly, professional, and I immediately got the feeling he was honest and trustworthy. Happy to say that was an accurate assessment! He emailed the estimate to me by end of day. Once we decided on Sequoia (best price, most responsive, best reviews), they were able to start our project within just a few days. Rudy was great to work with. He stopped by daily to check on the project, and responded to emails usually within the hour, if not within minutes. There really wasn't much need to contact him though - the job went off without a hitch. The crew showed up on time every day and worked their tails off. They were friendly and professional, and happy to accommodate the installation of a Solatube by another company during the project. They worked with us on the schedule to ensure that the installation came at the perfect time for all involved and to not interrupt the progress of the roof. At the end of each day, they cleaned up our yard and patio so well it was impossible to tell they'd been there. The icing on the cake is that our entire roof was completed in just three days, and is beautiful! Honestly, a roofing company could have told me they needed to replace a ton of wood under our tile, as the roof was 25 years old. I'd have believed it. Sequoia did not try to upsell us, or do more than needed to be done. They just came in, did their job very well - quickly, efficiently, honestly and in the least obtrusive way possible. I am so happy to have found them, and highly recommend them!

We found out about Sequoia Roofing on Angie's list and the reviews are true! Rudy and Mike were awesome and their crew was prompt and professional everyday! The whole process took 3 days and Rudy answered all of my questions by phone and email. They went above and beyond and made me feel like a valued customer. We will always call sequoia roofing with any of our roofing needs.

I like working with the owner and I found him very responsive and communicated such that I knew what was going on and worked his guys in so that the roof would get done before the rains came. I liked what they did. The only two problems I had is that the home didn't have gutters and hadn't been maintained well so there was lots of wood rot and termites that had to be addressed. Also I would have chosen a different shingle to give the custom house as much of a wood shingle look as I could have. Needed more help in that area in choosing the proper shingle. Prefer to see the shingle on a house but this was a new shingle and there were no examples for me to see. Felt the guys put on a quality roof that will last for many years to come.

During the last few storms, noticed a bubble forming in the cathedral ceiling of our livingroom. Had a slow drip. I contacted Sequoia Roofing about the leak and they responded quickly. Talked to Rudy who was very professional. He came out on a Saturday (we weren't even home), assessed the problem, and recommended the work. Told us we needed to replace one half of the roof on the second story. We agreed and he told us they were on some jobs and so could start in a few weeks. That was fine with us. However, two days later he emailed us to let us know they had finished a job early and could start the next day! The roofers came out early next morning. They worked quickly. What was supposed to be a two day job took only one day. When they were through they cleaned everything up thoroughly. We are very happy. The new roof looks beautiful. When we decide to replace the rest of the roof, we will definitely call them again.

Mike's quote was complete, comprehensive, and better than the 5 other roofing companies I investigated (including a quote I got from a personal friend who knocked off 30%). It took a giant leap of faith not to use my personal friend as my roofer, but I did and couldn't be happier with the result. I really didn't want to re-roof my home, it had a wonderful hand crafted wood shingle roof. Mike had the knowledge and experience to make excellent roofing material suggestions that were spot on and my roof looks amazing. All of the work was done in a timely fashion and despite the inherent volume of debris generated by removing and replacing a roof, the work was done in an extremely tidy manner. The job was started on time and completed on time. There were no hidden "change orders", in fact there were no additional costs whatsoever! This is the first time I have had a contractor make a bid and stick to it. Now that it has rained a couple of times I have observed that there are no leaks in the roof either. I highly recommend Mike at Sequoia roofing.

They worked me into a busy schedule. The foreman came 8am as was promised the workers came at 8:30. They were all professional. The initial work was about 3 1/2 hours. Just before they took lunch, the foreman called me with news that several tiles were broken and needed to be replaced. I agreed but did not ask price which I should have done. After lunch the workers replaced tiles, about 2 hours labor. I was surprised with the amount of bill...an additional $600. The workers cleaned up well. Had I asked the price of replacing the tiles, I would not have agreed to that much. I gave Sequoia a B overall because I feel the amount to replace the tiles was $200 too high, I was rather blindsided at the final price. As for the work quality, I'll know after all the rains finish.

The roofing team was great. They arrived on time and were very professional. We appreciate the work they did. Nice company.
