Do not get scammed by this company. They took $519 and an expensive wool rug from us. $1719 down the drain and a clear refusal to help rectify. Ten weeks with no call from the owner, Sears corporate, or anyone. This company truly could care less about you. Read below for detail. Sears quoted us over the phone. The franchise, after arriving to our scheduled appointment, claimed it was wrong. After verifying the recorded quote phone call, they agreed to honor the quote. Convinced me to allow them to take three area rugs out of the house for cleaning. Two rugs came back shrunk wrapped but upon opening were still as dirty as when they left. We have video of the unwrapping of one. The expensive wool rug, totally ruined by improper cleaning. Apologies by the workers and acknowledgement of all problems. The workers told us they were embarrassed to see the condition of our rugs. We were assured a manager would contact me right away. They took my rug. Ten weeks later I can't even get a return e-mail or phone call from not only this horrible company but Sears corporate. We've been put off multiple times with no real information as to what is going to be done or when a credit receipt will arrive for verification. No rug either. Not only did they NOT replace the rug, they KEPT it. Really awful experience. It's just not right. What a shameful owner to ignore our multiple reach outs for help. Shameful Sears falsely advertises how important customer service is to them and no help from them either. In fact, shortly after they left with our rug we went to the "review" e-mail and it appears the link was disabled, not allowing a review direct to Sears. Truly no conscience or care in the world for our troubles from a single person.
