Description of Work: My house had a weird smell in it and one of my friends that came over told me that it could be mold. I thought it might be a dead animal in my attic or something like that but I couldn’t find anything. I did not see anything that looked like mold and I didn’t know about any leaks so I couldn’t figure out what the smell might be. I figured I might as well get a mold inspection so I can rule that out as a possibility. I had Josh come by and do an inspection throughout the house and he took some air samples to see if the smell could be attributed to mold. He called me the next day to discuss the results, which showed that mold levels were normal in my house. At first, this made me nervous because I don’t want there to be any mold in my house, but Josh explained everything about how there is a baseline of mold in the air at all times and mold only becomes a problem when it is toxic or allergenic or when it is at elevated levels.
