San Diego Small Moves

I purchased two couches and a refrigerator for a couple that was moving. I had another mover lined up but on the day of the move that mover did not respond to phone calls and did not show up. I contacted San Diego Small Moves and spoke with Ken who was very polite and professional. I described the service I needed performed and he gave me a flat rate price on the spot. I asked that the movers give me a call when the arrived at the the house where the furniture and appliance was being picked up. I was anxious and called when the truck was supposed to arrive at the pick up house, and they just arrived and said they were just about to call me. They picked up the furniture and met me at the house where the furniture was to be dropped off right on time. They have a clean 16 foot enclosed truck that appeared to be in very good condition. The furniture was wrapped in plastic. They came into the house to see where it was to be carried and placed. they moved some existing furniture for me, then carefully carried in the furniture from the truck being mindful of the existing furniture. They then drove the refrigerator to another across town and delivered it. It was wrapped in a protective blanket. The gentlemen that performed the move were polite ( they introduced themselves and shook our hand when they first met us) and professional. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
