Everything went as planned, showed up on time and all went great.

I was planning on installing a new garage door opener. When the tech. arrived he said all I needed was a new remote battery and explained why my current opener was unable to work with other remotes due to it's special frequency. The tech. got my existing remote to operate the door and I happily only had to pay for the service call. Very knowledgeable and honest company, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!...George

The 'Big Deal' offered thru Angie's List was $349 for a new Garage Door Opener. The kid that came out was quick and neat. He installed it with no problems but stated this price came with only 1 Remote Garage Door Opener. So I had to pay an additional $30 (plus tax) for a second one. Also installed a Remote Keypad access, which has proved invaluable. He used the existing wiring so it didn't take him long. Wish he would have installed the wall door opener a bit more securely, but otherwise the install was fine.

I received 6 quotes to replace my old wooden garage door and to install a new sectional door with windows across the top. My garage has a low roof line so it required minor modifications on the door installation. After talking to the various companies it was clear that some really knew their business. The two top were Door Pros and Up and Down garage doors. I would recommend either company. Door Pros provided the best price so I went with them. The door installation and haul away of the old door was scheduled within 4 days and was completed in about 3 hours. Andrew (owner) was a great person to work with and David (or was it Daniel) did a professional job on the installation, cleaning up after himself as he worked. The door is beautiful and I couldn't be happier.

Did not recommend fixing the opener again. Recommended a new opener. Installed when said they would. Works well.

I called on Friday and the technician, Scott, came on Saturday morning promptly at 900 as scheduled. The entire spring system in my door needed to be replaced and Scott was able to explain what needed to be done and complete the job quickly. I absolutely recommend Scott from San Diego Door Pros and would definitely use them again.

It turned out well. They were at the home for about 30 minutes working on my double garage door.

They did an excellent job...on time, professional and reasonably priced. Now our door works like a new one.

I purchased the deal on Tuesday and it was installed on Friday. The man who installed the opener came within the two-hour window of time, and it took him about an hour to do everything. I found him to be very helpful and professional although I did have to tell him what it was that he had come to do. I can't believe how quiet this opener is. I have to double check to make sure it really is closing because it's so much quieter than the old one.

This is the 2nd time I've used Door Pros. Intially I had them fix my garage door that had gone off the track. This was in January, they intially charged me $149.00. In November it came off track again. Very frustrated I called them and found that the warrranty for service was only for 90 days. I was suprised but shelled out another $150 to get it fixed again. The tech was curtious and professional. It took him about 30 minutes after he had quoted me the $150, so I felt kinda robbed having to pay again. They intially took about 30-45 minutes in January then this time around they took 30 minutes. Good service but not worth $300 an hour! When I contacted them they did extend my warranty to 1 year from 90 days on the second repair. Probably would look for a different company for such a simple issue. If this happens again and I'm out of warranty I will probably shop around.

That went great. He did not charge me more than the big deal. He was great.

I had my garage spring and rollers replaced. The whole process was painless. From start to finish the job couldn't have been longer than 20-30 minutes.

There was a problem with the bottom of the garage door and they didn't a solution but when they inspected and did the door, they missed that. When I called them, they said they don't really know how to deal with that and they really didn't want to spend more time on it to try to find a solution. But, they were here on time.

The young man seemed to do a good job and he did it very quickly. He did not walk me through what he did, nor did he leave an invoice. I think he should have left an invoice showing the work performed and the date he performed the work.

Garage door worked fine for four months, we left for four months, came back and have same problem with inconsistent operation of garage door. Will need to call someone again

Replaced garage door. Worked to get the door replacement done within a set time constraint. Good customer service. Professional work. Kept a good line of communication (returning calls). Pleased with finished door.

Went open the garage door as every morning and it wouldn't open more than a couple of inches. OMG the car is hostage and I need to get to work! My husband tried to open it using the emergency over ride release and only ended up straining his back. What to do??? Got on Angie's list, searched garage door repair and located the choices. San Diego Door Pros had the most reviews (390 +) and almost all were A's. Selection made! Spoke with Andrew who was polite and responsive. Set up a same day appointment that would have Justin at our home within 2 - 4 hours. We were told he would call 30 minutes before arrival. He called and was at our door 25 minutes later. Justin was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He confirmed the spring had broken, replaced it and the door was functional. He performed a 15-point inspection. We asked about our keyless entry that stopped working long ago. He provided an option without any over sale. Another selection made and all of the work was completed within an hour. We are only sorry the highest rating is A. We would give them ++++ if available.

Scott arrived on time and determined the source of the problem I was having with getting my door opener to work.The door spring was not broken, but it was totally wore out. I mentioned that the door was very noisy in operation and he suggested replacing the rollers. He did the work very quickly and the door opens and closes much quieter.

Great! No pressure, provided a good explaination, and when he left I felt I had learned something about garage doors, how they work, and how proper maintenance is done.

He came out within a few days of us purchasing the deal. The technician was so friendly and nice. He did the tune up and we had also had a problem with the door not staying down. He found out what the issue was and was able to fix the garage door. The service was perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The service has not been performed, but they have responsive so far by email.

I wasn’t really happy with it. It doesn’t seem to roll as easily as it did before the service. However, they were here on time and did a good job otherwise.
