My garage door is 10 years old and had never been serviced since installation. Shortly after becoming a member of Angie's List, a "Big Deal" was offered, which included replacing roller balls on garage door and cleaning and lubricating moving parts. I purchased the deal, made a call and as I was going out of town for 3 weeks, asked if the work could be delayed until my return in mid-June. To my surprise there was no problem with the request. Now, following the work done in June, my garage door functions as if new.

Very prompt, arrived on time. Pleasant and professional technician showed up. Took very little time to install the transmitter and upgrade the bearings on the door. Overall very happy with the service. Door is much quieter now, and I felt the price I paid in addition to the transmitter was well worth it.

The "Angie's Deal" was great in the respect that many things needed to be replace due to age. The springs that pull the garage door up were rusted, the door rollers were black plastic which were replaced by new silicone rollers, and the complete edging including the metal that hold it in place was replaced and discounted. No labor charge was added to the invoice and the technician was here at least 2 hours. I am very pleased with this company and would use them again.

Door Pros came out to do the garage door tune-up special. Andy offered 10% off any services in the future. He was very professional and on time. Even gave a courtesy call prior to arriving. Also explained what he did during the service when he was done. I will definitely use this company again.

Expereince was great. Garage door would not close. Realized door had come off tracks. Cable on one side had loosened and came un-wound on roll. My husband called and explained what was going on. Andrew came out between the expected time and exlained what needed to be done. He also did not try to sell a new door and other things. This has happened to us in the past. He stated that we did not need all this upgrade and the door was fine. All hardware just needed basically a tune up... We would recommend his company to anyone who needs any type of garage door service.

Was punctual to first appointment but did not bring the correct opener to match the advertisement. Was prompt to return the next appointment and provided a quick, clean installation. I would recommend this company. I may need then to readjust their opener settings and am confident that they would respond.

I called on Tuesday to make an appointment, and they returned my call that same day. They were available to come out the next day, but I was unavailable so they came on Thursday. I was told that the technician would arrive between 9 and 11 and would call 30 minutes before arriving. I hadn't heard anything by 11:10, so I called the office. They were very apologetic, contacted the technician and then called me back to say he would be there in 15 minutes. When the technician arrived he also apologized for being late. The technician was very professional and told me exactly what he was going to do. After working for a while, he needed to re-charge his drill and while it was re-charging he talked to me about the garage door opener. I had purchased the opener five years ago from another business on Angie's List and had requested a quiet opener, but apparently that was not what was installed. The technician explained that this was probably the noisiest opener that Liftmaster makes, so he could only do so much to make it quieter. He lubricated everything and replaced the rollers, so it does open and close better and is a little bit quieter. He also told me to keep my eyes on the springs as they usually last 7-10 years. Overall, this was a very positive experience in spite of the little time glitch. Everyone I talked with was helpful and professional. I appreciated all the information the technician gave me and how quickly he worked. I just wish I had gone to them when I first got the garage door opener!

After purchasing the Big Deal, I sent an email to Andrew asking about availability on the following Tuesday. He responded promplty, and I got scheduled for the day I wanted. The tech arrived on time, did his work and talked to me about the health of our springs (ok). It was all done in less than 2 hours. We already had high quality rollers and they were replaced with the same quality. The door went from noisy to so quiet the dogs don't even know when it is opening.

My garage door didn't want to close. My father-in-law took a look and pointed out that the cables attached to the spring did not have any tension in them (one cable had even unwound off the spool a bit). Jared came out within a few hours of my call. He remembered installing our new spring system just shy of a year ago and suggested that there might have been some error in the installation. So he got everything tightened and tuned up and didn't charge me anything. Now that's great customer service!!!

They repaired a roller that disconnected on the garage door. They came out with in 2 or 3 hours to repair it. They were especially prompt. I am talking to them now about upgrading my existing garage door.

Was a pleasant experience, fair price and excellent service. Would recommend this company and this employee.

Garage Door Repair San Diego-Door Pros did nice work.

I called and made an appt. The receptionist was very cheerful and arranged for a technician to come out within the next two days. When he (Andrew) came I showed him that we had actually another smaller door that was not used as much along with the larger door that I wanted the 21 pt inspection done on. He said that the cost for the smaller door would an additional $49 which was fine with me. I worked with him on getting the code in the exterior opener pad and when we were deciding where to mount it we realized that we would have to be creative since we did not have a solid place to install the pad on. After a bit of deliberation we decided a piece of wood cut the right size would do the trick. He had the wood but no saw, which I did and he marked it and then I cut it out for him and left for him to do the rest of the job. When he was done he went over the list of things he had completed on the door and said there was no charge for the second, smaller door. I’m not sure why but it might have been because the smaller door was not all that hard to grease up or maybe that I had helped him get the exterior door opener pad installed, which I had placed my fingers precariously close to the saw blades when cutting the wood. Anyway, Andrew did a great job, the doors are both a lot less noisy when operating and it was a good Angie’s List deal that I’m glad I took advantage of.

They helped us with our garage door remote controls as well as tuning the garage door system. Andrew and Jared are true professionals. We would not hesitate about using them again or recommending them to others.

The garage door was jamming in the raised position and I;d been meaning to find someone to come service it. I then saw an email with the Angie's List deal that offered a 21 pt inspection plus the installation of a keypad for $85 so I called to make the appointment. I was given an appointment for later that day or the next morning (quick) and Jared arrived on time - early I believe. He was very friendly and did seem quite knowledgeable. I showed him the problem with the jamming. He showed me how the springs weren't supporting the weight of the door and how it was not balanced. He suggested 2 new springs and showed me a price list. The ones we needed were $129 each. I said OK. He had the parts and I left him to his work which only took about 40 minutes or so. He then installed the keypad and showed me how to program it. He also provided and programmed to garage door remotes for us. The openers were $29 each. Both the keypad and the remotes seem to be somewhat lower quality but will certainly get the job done. He then explained to me the type of garage door opener we had and how it compares to the other types. He said the kind we had (chain drive) was the lowest quality of the 3 types, a bit noisier than others. He explained that it had been pulling too much weight for some time due to the bad springs and this was causing a lot of vibration in the motor housing. He gave it about 1 year before we might need to replace it. Overall, he was really nice, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable etc. I was really pleased with the experience. My only hesitation now, which is reflected in my rating on price, is that I only got the one quote and had them do the work. I have no idea if the price was competitive or not and probably should have shopped around before going forward. However, it was a pleasant and quick transaction - I just wonder if I paid a fair rate. But if you know roughly what the job should cost and these guys are in that range, I wouldn't hesitate at all in hiring this company.

Door Pros showed up to look at the job when expected. They didn't have the needed materials with them and returned the next afternoon to do the job. They had estimated it would be a 2 hr. job but they spent closer to 4 hrs. working on it. At the end of the job the door worked well and was much quieter than it had been. I didn't get a competitive bid but considering the amount of time spent working on the door, I think we got a good price.

I purchased an Anglies List coupon a few months ago for a keyless entry and 21-pt. garage door tune-up. They were great about responding to my call and scheduling. Jared came on 1/10/2012 to do the work. He was somewhat late probably because of the distance, detours, and traffic. However, I was notified that Jared would be half an hour late. He drove up and introduced himself. Jared was very professional, friendly, and efficient with his work. He was able to make a work adjustment on the deal because I decided to forego the keyless entry and have all the rollers replaced on 2 garage doors. Jared told me that the main spring and my single garage door opener would need replacement soon. It took Jared about 1.5 hours to do the work on both garage doors. My wood garage doors are old and really needed a tune-up and roller replacement. He did a great job and I highly recommend Door Pros to everyone.

Door Pros arrived as scheduled, quickly diagnosed the problem and let us know how much the fix would be. They had all of the tools and parts needed. The repairs were completed in about an hour and a half, as promised. We were very happy with the service and thought it was a good value.

Andrew and his staff did an excellent job. He came out to assess/estimate the job and assisted in the installation of my wonderful new door with windows. A follow up visit occurred because during the installation, the installer observed and advised me (and Andrew) of a potential problem with the pre-existing door opener located inside the garage. The follow up Installer visit found the problem was due to improper mounting of the pre-existing door opener...a tweak, and it was done, at no charge. All were professional, courteous and efficient. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

These guys are awesome in every aspect. The owner answered the phone himself, they were available for next-day service, they showed up right when they said they would (they even gave me a 20-minute heads-up call,) and they did a great job. There was a problem with the door sensors that the first guy couldn't sort out, so they sent another guy the next day and he was able to fix that problem. They seemed honest and trustworthy, and their prices were quite reasonable. The repairman took the time to educate me about the equipment and the issues involving our door, which made me feel very comfortable with the process and the investment I was making. They installed a new motor and new springs for the same price that another company charged me for just the springs three years ago (and those old springs were too small for the door!) They even threw in a free door monitor and extra openers (maybe because they had to come twice?) which I thought was ridiculously nice of them. My garage door is now operating perfectly and quietly, and they gave me a 10-year warranty. It's a small company, just three guys (two are brothers,) and they seem like they really want to do a good job. Highly recommended.

Jared installed a key pad for my garage door, he was friendly and professional. The installation went smothly and he also took the time to oil the door tracks.

He installed the wireless keypad and showed me how to use it. He also gave me the original box with instructions if I needed to change the PIN number in the future or change the batteries. He also showed me what things that might need to be looked out for with the garage door in the future. He made some adjustments on the coil but said it probably has a few years left before it needs to be replaced as we have a big heavy wooden garage door. He did some other minor adjustments and was great. I'd definitely use these guys for a garage door repair or installation of a new unit. They seemed very professional and ethical.
