San Diego Door Pros

First I received a phone call from the service man to advise that he was running a bit behind, and would arrive a little later than the original appointed time. When he arrived he explained exactly what he would be doing and how long it would take for him to complete the service. I watched for awhile, as the service began, and then left the service man to continue his work. I returned from time to time to see how the job was proceeding, and the service man indicated what had taken place and what would follow. When the job was done the service man operated the garage door opener several times to be certain that everything was operating properly. He then thanked me for using his service and applied a name tag with the contact number of his company and advisedthat the work was guaranteed, and if there wwere any problems, they would return to fix the problem t no additional cost to me.

Very good. Right on time and great job. Door works better now than when it was first installed.

San Diego Doorpros were excellent. I called first thing in the morning hoping to get a same day appointment because one of our cars was stuck in the garage (and the garage door was stuck halfway open). They were able to get me an appointment that afternoon and gave me a reasonably accurate estimate considering they had no idea what exactly had happened to the garage door. The technician, Andrew, was very nice, showed up on time and got everything fixed quickly. He also made a minor fix to prevent it from happening again and lubricated the door wheels/tracks. He was very accommodating considering that I had to warn him that we had recently seen a black widow in the corner where he was working that we hadn't been able to kill yet! Overall, I was very happy with SD Doorpros service.

It was a very easy experience. I bought an Angie's coupon, emailed them to set up the appointment. They showed up on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. They took away all of the old materials. I would use them again.

I had been having problems with the gate getting stuck for weeks and did not know who to call. Looking at Angie's List this company seemed to be exactly what I needed. David came out right away and fixed the gate.

The technician (Andrew) arrived promptly as scheduled and looked at the garage door. He did not recommend any structural or mechanical changes and lubricated the door and made minor adjustments. Instead of replacing the rollers, I opted for the keypad installation. The door is noticeably more quiet as it rides on the tracks. I would definitely use them again if I have any garage door problems.

It took a month before they ever called me. They scheduled an appointment, rescheduled it to later in the afternoon. They called last minute to cancel and they said they would call back to reschedule but they never have.

Andrew arrived on time and examined the door and spring carefully. He said the spring was still in good shape, as was the opener. So he went ahead and serviced the door as noted above. He was friendly and professional. He worked carefully and quickly. When the job was finished the door worked and sounded like new. I am very happy with the quality of the work provided, and will gladly use Door Pros again.

It went very well. The technician was knowledgeable and well organized, well mannered and helpful.

The new wheels didn't take out all the squeaks that I would have liked, but I guess it is more my garage door type and very little to do with the Door Pros service. I would recommend these guys.

It went well overall. So, why did I check I wouldn't use them again? It's simply because I found another place that replaced my spring and bottom weatherseal easily professionally and quickly, so I would use them in the future instead. This company I am reviewing is fine also. I used them on one of Angie's Big Deals.

I could tell that I was dealing with a nice person, one who cared about delivering on his promise to provide good service at a fair price. Had a 90 day warranty on his work: Five year warranty on parts. All in all, a very good experience. Should the main door springs need replacement in the future, I will call Door Pros and have Andrew come back to do the work.

Door Pros did a very professional job. They removed the old motor and track assembly and installed a new motor and track assembly. They also positioned a sensor near the floor, and placed a key pad on the outside of the garage. The gentleman that performed the service had all the equipment and tools he needed for the installation. He took the old track and assembly with him, so I was left with nothing to clean up, and a new dependable garage door opener.

Door Pro provided quick response and quality work. We have recommended this company to our neighbor who was also very satisfied with the work done on his garage (installation of new opener).

I called this company after reading the reviews on Angie's List. Overall I am happy with the work they did, however, I am really disappointed in the pricing. When I called on the phone, the woman (I believe her name was Kathy) quoted me $175 to $200. I did mention at the time (but after she gave me the quote) that I had a coupon from Angie's list for $25. When the work was completed, the tech told me the price was $225 which included my coupon ($250 - $25.) This really spoiled the experience for me. I find businesses doing this time and time again. The technician was a very nice young man and very professional. Would I use them again? Well, right now the door is working and I have no complaints about the workmanship. I feel a little scammed with the pricing though so I would probably consider other companies

The young man from Door Pros arrived on time, was professional and polite. He installed the keyless entry pad that we purchased from them and showed me how to use it. Then he did the inspection and showed me the problem with the springs. He did not pressure me to make a decision right away. Yes, I recommend them.
