The technician, Daniel, called before the appointed time to make me aware of his expected arrival. Upon his arrival, performed the work efficiently. He responded to my questions and completed the work within a brief period of time.I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.

I purchased the Angie's List garage tune-up plus quiet roller replacement deal because of my loud and slow moving garage door. The tech showed up on time, and called before he came out. He quickly realized that my garage spring had broken on one side and was severely deficient in helping the opener pulling up the door. So he gave me a quote right there to replace the spring and even took off the amount I paid for the Angie's List deal off the total of the replacement. He went ahead and began the install but found that my patio drainage was in the way of the new spring. He help me adjust the drainage out of the way and installed the new spring quickly and efficiently. I don't know how much new springs cost, but it seemed reasonable for $250 + the $87 I had spent on the deal.

Overall, it went OK but could have been better.

I called on a Monday, and they came out the next day. I thought the price was a little high (even after the Angie's List discount) for less than an hours work, but they took care of the problem.

It went very smoothly. The original offer was for both tuning and installation of a remote control. We didn't need the remote so the service man promptly dropped the price and was quite pleasant. The doors operate very quietly now.

I was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the job. I had been having difficulty with my garage door getting loud, rattling when opening and also intermittently stopping after opening about 6 inches. I ordered the $99 big deal coupon for the tuneup and either a roller replacement or keypad. Door Pros fixed the problems with the door. The travel was not properly adjusted and several rollers positions needed to be adjusted. They also replaced the rollers with quiet nylon wheels. Result is the door is problem free, runs like new and is much quieter. I could not have been more pleased with the result. I also had them add the exterior key pad installation since I often use my bike and now don't need to carry a key or garage door opener with me. Great job, on time, professional and fixed all my my problems.

Making an appointment was easy- they answered the phone professionally and made my appointment for the next day. Justin called 30 minutes before he arrived like they said he would. He arrived on time and got right to work. The entire visit took about 30 minutes. The only thing I was not excited about was the price. $200 for 30 minutes of work seems like a lot but they did fix it and I did know what the price was before they started so I was aware. Great Experience! Would recommend to anyone.

Called and scheduled an appointment for a new door opener. Justin showed up on time and ready to get to work. Spent a couple minutes setting up then he got to it. I had to move a couple wall cabinets out of the way for him to install the sensors but it was no big deal. He was in and out within an hour and I had a nice new opener. He took the time to explain the features and answer any questions. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely do business with them again.

Work went quickly and garage door is quieter.

Installer arrived on time, was courteous, explained what he was going to do, and performed as promised. Very satisfied!

Overall the company is great! Very responsive and Justin seems to really love/enjoy his job which makes such a difference when dealing with repair folks in yoiur home. He was so professional I would ask for him by name again!! (We actually did too- as the bolts for the arm mechanism popped out last week. I called on Tues. afternoon and Justin was here at 10 on Wens. morning.) Hopefully all will be well this time around!

Basically San Diego Door Pros crew fixed a nice bit of craft garage door and it is working fine. The crew is a good guy.

Door pros replaced the rollers, greased and lubed the rails and chain. They did a pretty thorough job actually; more than I expected. They even fixed the damage I caused to one of the door sections I did a couple of years ago. I just never got around to fixing it and the bend keep sagging sagging more and more over time. I have to admit, they did a much better job than I would have done for cheaper too.

Making the reservation was easy and was scheduled only 2 days after the call (great availability). I selected the last 2 hour time slot available (3-5 PM) and was told the service person would call when on the way. I was waiting at home, but by a few minutes to 5 no one had shown up or contacted me so I called the office and, despite the recording saying they were still open, no one answered. About 10 minutes later I was called by the office, the installer was running late, and he would be over in about 45 minutes. So I waited. About 30 minutes later he called and said he was close by, and about 10 minutes later he arrived. He did a quick survey of the door. I indicated I also wanted to have the gasket replaced, which I had reserved, but he had not been notified, looked at the gasket, and made a comment that he was not sure he had any of that type. When he checked it turned out he did so he got underway. He was quick and professional, replaced the rollers, checked the operation (the door is really quiet and smooth now!), replaced the gasket, and lubed everything. He quickly looked up the price for the gasket and presented me the bill, which I paid, and less than 20 minutes after arrival he was done and gone. So overall it was a fine service, he seemed to know what he was doing and got it done, but it would have been nice to be kept informed when they were running that late (I could have taken less time off work then). Thanks.

Daniel from Door Pros arrived within the two hour window given to me when the appointment was set up. He called first to make sure I was home and arrived within the 30 minutes he said he would. Upon arrival he assembled his tools and brought in the new rollers. He quickly removed the old rollers and installed the new ones. He then lubricated the rollers on the door panels and check out everything for proper operation. The door is much quieter now going up and down.

The technician came and did maintenance work on the garage door but could not install the pad because the system was obsolete. However he was very professional and very accomodating.

The service technician, Danny, was prompt, courteous, experienced and thorough. My garage door had not been serviced for many years. The technician was here for a good 45 minutes or more due to more than usual problems as the door is quite old. The door was exceptionally loud when opening or closing. He was able to correct that problem. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future.

There was a issue with the first visit, as the problem was not corrected. When I called the company, the owner came out and corrected the problem.

I found Door Pros via Angie's List, sent an email, late at night, on January 22nd, and received a phone call in the morning on January 23rd at which time we coordinated a date/time for Saturday January 26th. Prior to the appointment, I came across Angie's List Big Deal from the same company I just hired and purchased, so I purchased the Big Deal which was the door tune up and the new quiet garage door wheels. I called and asked if I could combine all the work at one time, and no problem, the additional service was added. On January 26, the original time was from 10am to 12pm however they were running behind but Justin did call, let me know, he did apologize, told me the estimated time and he did arrive at the new time. Since I am a human being, and I run behind at times, I can understand but he did call and let me know so we adjusted and he did arrive by the new time. He did arrive in a clean truck, with company logo and company apparel and was a very nice man. He went straight to work and removed the old garage door opener, followed by assembling the new opener and installing it. During the process, I did inform him the door didn't seem to close properly all the way, the top panel didn't close all the way, and there was a seam and it was like that for a few years despite other companies being out. He obviously knew what he was doing, took the brackets off and put them back on adn in under 15 minutes, the door was aligned and sat fine...no more partially open seam on the top panel. He then finished up the garage door tune-up, lubricated the moving metal parts, and installed the new poly wheels with ball bearings. I was very pleased with the work, the quality of the work, the technician, and his knowledge. Upon completion of the work on the garage door and the opener, he went through the operation with me and explained AND SHOWED me how to operate the new garage door opener control panel. The control panel had so many options, time, temperature, locks, lights, sensors, battery backup indicators, travel of the door on the opener, etc, and Justin walked me through the various options one at a time. That was much appreciated, and I am sure he could of skipped that portion of explaining the options but it was both very helpful and very much appreciated. Once completed, he did take the old opener, informed me the metal would be recycled (nice) and left the place tidy and the work he left behind was nice and neat, the wires were stapled, everything was in order and it operated great. I was very pleased with the quality of work, their knowledge and their willingness to help. For these reasons, I will be a return customer and provide referrals. I was a first time customer and again was very pleased with the work they accomplished. I plan on getting a new garage door in the very near future (several months) and I fully intend to hire San Diego Door Pros for both the purchase and the installation. I was quite pleased with the work, the new opener installation and the door tune-up. The garage door is noticeably quieter and runs great and I am glad I did find this company via Angie's List...top shelf work from a great company accomplished by some genuinely nice folks. We chose the Angie's big deal, partly because we needed the tune up for our garage, but more importantly because we were having issues with the remote. I bought the deal and then contacted the company with my available dates. They called me right back, and were able to come out the same day. Justin showed up right on time, and was extremely professional and helpful. He not only fixed the problem with the remote, he performed the other services, and installed a key-less remote (which was part of the deal, but something that will really come in handy!). It took him about 45 minutes, and now everything works great.
