We have a one piece wooden garage door covered with siding to match the house. I purchased an Angie's List $99 Dollar Garage door tune up with installation of outdoor garage door opener. The door hardware is 30+ years old and one of the metal struts that support the door when open was bent causing a misalignment . After inspecting the door San Diego Door Recommended replacing the struts on both sides of the door. Since new struts were no longer available they found used metal struts in excellent condition and installed them two days later. They adjusted the door and installed the outside opener at the same time. The door now works perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend San Diego Door Pros.

We were offered a choice of openers and the one we selected was a higher end very quiet. It is truly quiet as promised. Installation was completed as quoted. Garage door works well.

They were honest and very fair with recommendations.

San Diego Door Pros are pros! Arrived on time for my routine door check, explained exactly what he was going to do and did just that. He thoroughly went over the door with me and explained everything he did in detail. Since my rollers were not in bad condition I opted for the keypad and glad I did. My door is running much smoother and quieter and I will definitely contact this company again should a problem arise! The technician was very knowledge, polite and efficient! Thank you Door Pros!

Arrived on time as scheduled. Conducted an inspection of all the rollers and used WD-40 on all springs and rollers.

I called on 08/29/13 to schedule an appt for a garage door tune-up/repair. I saw a deal on Angie's List and decided it was time to fix our malfunctioning garage door opener. The phone was answered quickly and professionally and an appointment was scheduled for 08/31/13. The tech was to arrive between 10am-Noon and call 30 mins prior to arriving. At noon we got a call from the office saying Scott's (the tech) current appoinment had run over and that he would arrive at 1:30pm. Luckily, that still fit into our schedule. He called 30 mins before he arrived (as promised), gave a quick diagnosis of the issue, and a quote for the work. All work was done quickly and professionally and although he had to replace the garage door sensor AND the bracket for the sensor, he did not charge us for the additional materials because he had an extra part from a previous job. I will use them again when it's time to purchase and/or replace our garage doors/openers/sensors/etc. I will also recommend them to anyone that need this type of service.

Before the service both garage doors were so loud and squeaky that it disturbed people in Riverside County.. After the service both doors are whisper-quiet. The service man was polite, punctual. and professional, plus he did the dent-fix and the hinge replacement with no charge. I'll definitely use San Diego Door Pros again for any garage door issues or door replacement..

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was perfect. The garage door works perfectly now. The guy was really great. I would definitely use them again.

From making appt. to providing tech assistance, it was a pleasant and timely service. Have already recommended them to a neighbor. Will use again if it becomes necessary.

Scott was very professional, friendly, courteous and efficient. He noticed a bent and deformed hinge and replaced it for an additional $19.95 over the basic Groupon cost of $85. He actually arrived an hour early which was a pleasant surprise. Scott checked the whole system and did some lubrication of the hinges, drive screw, etc. He didn't try to pressure us into replacing the existing door or door opener. We'll certainly consider Door Pros for future door/opener replacement or repair work.

I was very happy with the service. The tech was on time, very polite and professional. Did the maintenance in a timely manner, explained this maintenance should be done annually and was on his way.

It turned out good. This is the first time I have used them. They were very thorough and good. I like them. Everything is working fine and I have no issues. I would use them again the future.

SD Door Pros both emailed and called me the day I bought the Big Deal. They promptly scheduled the service. The repairman was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He found and fixed a loose wire in the garage door sensor, and did not attempt to sell me more than I needed. His work was within the $85 Big Deal cost. I was very satisfied with the repairman and the work done.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they did a good job. The door went straight down after he left, and I called him, and he came right back to fix it. It was just a minor issue. The person who installed the door opener was very helpful, my only issue with the company was the fact that all the companies whose big deals I have purchased, have called me and thanked me and scheduled me, this company did not. I think she got overwhelmed. I called after 3 weeks and got it scheduled and I am used to professional people calling me back to remind me of the appointment, but with this company, I ended up calling and asking if we were still scheduled. I don't think it is the workers, but I think the office girl needs to be trained a little. I think it is just a matter of courtesy.

San Diego Door Pros were good. I liked them. The worker that came out was super professional. He was young, but he knew exactly what he was doing. He was a good guy.

Service our two garage doors by replacing all rollers, lubricating all hinges and adjusting the motors as needed. Doors worker quitter and we are very pleased with the service.

Service tech, Andrew, showed up a little bit late to the appointment, but the service was stellar from that point on. Andrew was pleasant, professional, and responsive to all questions during the service call.

I appreciated the fact that the gentlemen was honest and not just trying to get to go for the most expensive way to fix the problem. He gave me the 'bandaid' solution which at this time was all I could afford.

The installer was exactly on time (he was waiting for me to come home) and was ready to work. He got the old opener removed promptly and, seeing the spring on my overhead door was a tad loose, tightened it. Then the new opener was installed very quickly including all the ancillary wiring. He programmed all the remotes, including the keyless entry pad, showed me how it all worked, and was gone in an hour. As I cleaned up a bit I remembered he never installed the battery backup unit, so I called him and he apologized a lot, returned immediately, and installed it. It was great service, very friendly and professional, and I now have an excelleent opener for my garage.

According to yelp.com, this provider's doors were supposed to be open @ 7:00 am. I called then, at 7:30, and then at 8:05 am and no one answered the phone; not even an answering machine picked up. I was disappointed because this provider had great reviews and my garage door needed immediate attention. I really wanted to use them, but couldn't wait any longer :-(
