It was more than a new one. Very nice worker.

The guy who came out was great. Fixed our garage door and installed a keyless entry pad which works well.

We bought the deal because had a problem with the door raising and lowering. He adjusted the motor in accordance with the age of the unit. He gave me the choice of an external keypad or replace the garage door wheels. He said the wheels were still in good shape so he just lubricated those and installed the keypad. I never knew how handy the external keypad would be. The service was well worth the price.

We have 4 custom wood (heavy) garage doors. The contractor showed up on time and promptly performed the service that we had pre-purchased from Angie's List. He noted some additional work that needed to be done, which I was aware of, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He returned within 3 days with the necessary parts and completed the work as per his estimate. I found this contractor to be fair, professional, and prompt - while performing quality work. I'll use them again when needed.

They offered a free electric keypad for remote external access, but we chose to use the existing wireless system. We will use SD Door Pros when maintenance is required in the future.

They were super. Their representative that came out was very friendly and professional. He was quick and fast. It was a very good service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. The price was a little high for replacing the wheels but he was prompt, polite, pleasant and efficient. I don't know garage doors so I'm not sure about the price.

The provider arrived on time, and performed the service as described. The outcome exceeded my expectations, with my garage door operating much more quietly, for the first time that I can remember.

Due to the time of day and weather they were late but they called to let me know the situation.

Upon clarification and confirmation of the order, the technician realized he did not have the garage door opener unit that I had purchased with him, but did have a better unit that would have cost more to have purchased. Upon getting approval from his office, he installed the higher grade/more expensive unit for the price I paid for the less expensive unit to compensate for the mix-up. He worked quickly and all seems well since the install. I haven't had any problems with the unit and so far, I am please with the work done and the unit. The technician was very nice and polite.

The quality of work, material, and service of San Diego Door Pros was very good. My only knock is I used an Angie's List special to replace the rollers and they did that work and did it well. Unfortunately the problem was not the rollers but the lift was worn out. They did not diagnose the problem they just did what was asked. I went back to them and they replaced the list and it works well.

The door & opener have never worked better or as quiet

The were prompt and timely but unable to complete the job because the tech didn’t have the tools to complete the roller replacement.

We had purchased the motor upgrade and garage door tune up. When the tech arrived, he discovered we have an older door, which is much heavier than the new ones. He explained the types of motor drives and motor power. We decided to go with a more powerful motor, which he had on the truck. He was professional and the installation was done quickly and well. We have already passed on the company's name to several friends.

The guy who came was the most honest person in the world .He arrived early and is very knowledgeable, friendly, clean and very professional He told me I only needed the $99 tune up rather than the $439 installation. I would highly recommend him to others.

Garage door opener was not working. They came on time, and we set to replace opener. We opted to open the case and see if a repair was in order. Lo and behold, after fooling with it, it began to work. Teen they did a tune-up, lube, etc. for $139 instead of new opener for $439. I was very happy and would use Justin again.

It was a small job and done very quickly and neatly.

This was a really good deal (one of AngiesList deals), and the tech arrived as scheduled, lubricated and adjusted the garage door and installed new rollers. It now operates much more quietly. We were very happy with the service and would not hesitate to use them again as needed.

I am very pleased with the service I received today from Door Pros. I called this morning to make an appointment to have our garage door repaired. Josh answered the phone and was able to book me an appointment for the same afternoon. Josh worked with my schedule and gave me a 2 hour service window between 3-5pm. I received a call an hour ahead of time from Justin, who is the repair techinican that came out to service the garage door. He was ahead of schedule and was able to come out earlier. Justin arrived right on time and assessed my garage. We have a little larger garage door than the standard so the estimate I received over the phone was a little higher than the actual service charge, but Justinexplained this upfront and honored the Angie's List discount so I only paid a few dollars more than the original quote anyway. Justin also found a loose pin in our garage door that he tightened (and if it hadn't been tightened we might have had the door loosen from the track in the near future). He lubricated all of the joints and moving parts and honestly, our garage door works smoother now than it did before. Thanks Door Pros.

Went well, arrived on time and was very helpful. Would use them again.

We had a very old screw-drive opener and a pretty noisy door. In the past, I greased and oiled it regularly, but never could eliminate all the noise. The roller replacement and tune-up made a huge difference by itself. I was on the fence whether to have the technician replace the opener as well, or do it myself. In the end, I had him do the work, and I'm very happy with the results. The door opens and closes about the same speed as before, but much, much more quietly. I have not yet tested the range of the remotes. I also have not tried to program the HomeLink in my car, which many reviewers had trouble with. I don't intend to use the internet connectivity for the opener, so I haven't tested that either. (The installer didn't mention this feature, so I'm guessing it's not included in their standard installation?) My biggest complaint would be punctuality. My appointment window was 11-1. At 11:30 I hadn't heard from them, so I called the office and was told he'd arrive in about 30 minutes. An hour later, the technician called to say that he'd be another 30 minutes. So in the end, he showed up about 10 minutes before the end of my appointment window. On the plus side, the work was done extremely quickly. Everything was done in the span of about an hour, which is about half the time I thought it would take. And he disposed of all the old parts, which is another think I was worried I'd have to deal with. Overall, I'm happy with the service I received.

I purchased a 'deal' offered by San Diego Door Pros. The 'deal' include: $89 Garage Door Tune-Up and Roller Replacement. A company employee, 'David', showed up at the appointed time and went to work replacing the rollers with excellent quality replacement rollers. He checked out the stability and condition of all the garage door and infrastructure. Lubricated and checked everything for proper operation. David was very proficient and knowledgable and completed the job quickly. i am very pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

My garage door mechanism broke. I was able to have San Diego Door Pro's out the same day. They replaced the springs, lubricated everything and had me back in business in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend San Diego Door Pros. They did a great job.

It's still working 3 months later and just as quit as first day .Thank you Angie for these special offers. Already had a opener but it was broken and didn't really want to fuss with it. So when this came along I said to myself, self what the hey let's buy it and take a chance.

I purchased a pre-paid deal for the installation of a Liftmaster garage door. I had to contact the company to arrange an installation appointment. The appointment was scheduled without incident within a week. The installer (I believe that his name was Scott) came out and determined that he did not have the correct "rails" to install my opener. Evidently, my door required 12 foot rails and he only had 10 foot rails which were standard. He told me that they were going to have to order the rails ;that I was going to have to pay the upcharge of about $59, and that they would call me back when they came in to arrange a new install date. The office made a call to my wife's phone and arranged an install for a Tuesday )10/29/13). A couple of days later, someone from the office (Andrew, as I recall) called me (as opposed to my wife) and told me that the door opener that we ordered would not work because of the 12 foot rails, and that they would need to install a "commercial" heavy-duty" opener. Of course, that was going to come at an increased cost. He actually ASKED ME what the height of the door was. This was my first "tip" that he had little to no idea what he was talking about. I told him that I was not at home and could not measure the door at that time, and that his installer had done a complete measurement about 10 days before when he was at the house. He then said that he could get that information from the installer. When he told me that I was going to have to upgrade the door opener that I purchased, I noted to him that THAT MADE NO SENSE, as we had two identical doors with very cheap and lousy GENIE door openers (that were certainly not commercial grade) that worked absolutely fine, his response was "Oh, that's what I thought". Well, I can tell you, I did not appreciate the "up-sell" by this guy. I purchased a pre-paid mega deal that included the opener and the installation for a fixed price. I researched the opener, and it was significantly superior to the two Genie openers that we have on the two adjacent single doors. The installer never told us that the opener that we purchased would not work; only the "salesman" from the office. If they offer a pre-paid deal at a fixed price and someone buys it, then they should not go through this SALES JOB, especially when what he was saying was not factual The original opener was installed and guess what......it works perfectly. The installer was very competent and very professional. The office staff; their follow up and their lack of facts and "story" told in an apparent attempt to u-sell us was extremely unprofessional. I cannot tell if this "Andrew" did this on purpose, or if he just had no clue what he was talking about, but rather than asking questions or checking with his installer, he chose to call me and tell me that I would have to pay more for a commercial opener. When challenged by me, he backed down.
