Service was good. The rep seem knowledgeable. He stated 14 yrs in service with the company. He was late but only by 10 min. He was able to answer all my questions and added some suggestions for consideration in the future. He promised to make my garage door significantly quieter and mission was accomplished.

The provider did a good job servicing the garage door, but he tried to sell additional services when he came out, which we were not interested in.

He was very good - he even found another problem and fixed it promptly. I was very pleased with the service overall. I'd recommend them to anyone!

The initial contact with Andrew was great. Easy to understand all the options and select the proper doors. It was about 2 1/2 weeks until the doors were ready - longer than we thought it would be but when I called to ask about status they said it normally takes 2 - 3 weeks to get them in. So no problem at all I just didn't remember it needing to be that long. Once the doors arrived Daniel did an excellent job of installing both doors, a side jacking motor (really sweet) and the remote key pad. With in a day the door stopping closing on the first try. When called Door Pros Andrew happen to be in the area, came over immediately and corrected the problem. It is simply one of those things that happens as the doors and motor settles in and the tension goes off a little bit. Overall very well done, looks great, and a pleasure to work with.

Scott arrived in the scheduled time slot. When I told him that the key pad didn't work, he said it probably needed a new battery. He installed one and it worked. One remote didn't work at all (for many years) and the other remote only when I was close to the garage door, pointing it to the receiver and pressing it in several places (8-10 times). It was obvious I needed another remote. I purchased two so that I would have a spare. He did a garage door tune-up and was on his way. The total job was approximately done in 15 minutes. Not only was he fast and efficient: he was professional and personable. Excellent job!!!

Went very well including having a replacement remote for us. Gave us a quote on a new machine as requested. Very friendly and accommodating.

I called and they sent Scott out. He was very friendly and helpful. Turns out it was the batteries. I was a bit embarrassed and apologized. He said no worries! Since he didn't have batteries with him that matched the openers I had, he gave two new ones in addition to letting me keep the ones I had. He took out the batteries so I knew which ones to buy. He also helped me reprogram everything. Just great customer service!!

The spring on our garage door broke, which meant we couldn't get the door open, which meant I couldn't get my car out of the garage. We called the garage door company we've used in the past and they said it would be three days before they could get a repair person to our house. Then I looked on Angie's List, found San Diego Door Pros and called them. They had someone at our house in about two hours and got the door open so I could get my car out of the garage. They came back on the next business day with a new spring and cable to repair the door. They were on time for both visits (actually, they arrived earlier than promised on the first visit, which was great). All of the people we dealt with, on the phone and in person, were very nice and extremely professional. They deserve better than an A rating -- I'd give them A+++.

Had a very good experience with SD Door Pros. Daniel was the installer. That guy is a worker ! I believe he could install a garage door opener blindfolded. Overall, I love the new opener, a belt driven, silent opener. Has all the bells and whistles you can imagine. Many features that make it compatible to iPhone Apps for control of programing and control. Nice job on the installation, went quickly. As with many of the contractors offering deals on Angies List, SD Door Pros took five days to respond to my urgent request of installing a new garage opener since my old one broke down. That left me doing a manual open/close on the door. Wish they could've been much quicker on doing the installation. I considered Sears and Home Depot, but getting a contractor out to do the job takes even longer, so I'm not too disappointed by the delayed response.

It was excellent. I did not spend more than the Big Deal price.

This was the first time that I ever purchased a Big Deal on Angie's List, and I will certainly do it again. This was probably the best service that we have ever had on our garage door system, and in just 20 minutes. Everything was tightened, lubed, and inspected. Everything is so much quieter. The owner, Andrew, left us with recommendations for the future.

Called before arriving, arrived per schedule. Courteous and professional. I appreciated that there was limited up-selling and it was a pleasant experience. Door is much quieter now.

I bought the garage door tune-up but really needed a new garage door opener. My old one was 16 years old. They sold me a pretty pricey model with internet connectivity (yes, I can open/close my garage door from my tablet). I really like the opener. My only complaint is that they didn't tell me that there is a annual service fee for the internet connectivity option. I found out about it by seeing the tiny print on the side of the box. I was happy that they applied my garage door tune-up $$ to the new garage door opener, but I think the price for the opener was a bit inflated from what I could've gotten if I'd purchased it online.

This was my second time using this company. The first time I had them replace a worn garage door opener on a second door. That one is so quiet and works so well I told the technician on this visit that if there was any possible need to replace the motor on the second door, I was willing to do it. After inspecting the unit on the second door, he advised there was no need to spend the money to replace it, routine maintenance was all that was necessary. It is nice to know that there is an honest company out there that isn't just trying to get you to spend more money. Other companies should learn from this. SD Door Pros will be getting my future business.

My service provider for this job was Mark. He called to let me know he was running early and wanted to see if that worked for me. When I met him at our house, he was pleasant and professional. His work was clean and organized. I was completely comfortable with him from the beginning. It's refreshing to meet a service provider that is clean, pleasant and professional. I can comfortably recommend them when asked, and will use them again in the future.

The deal wasn't exactly in line with what our door needed, but the gentleman did a great job in all respects. He was even able to get our entry keypad and remotes working again. Furthermore, he was professional and courteous during our interactions and was easy to get in touch with.

the installer was fine. he was very professional and did the installing of the new opener in the amount of time he said he would need. double checked to make sure that i was happy with new opener and knew how to work the new system. i did have to call to find out when they would come out for the install. other than that it seemed like a great deal and quality work.
