Restoration Solutions

Jake, from Restoration Solutions, came to my house after a water heater kitchen and bathroom flood. He seemed very knowledgeable and agreed to rebuild my kitchen and bathroom for a fair price. We were supposed to meet together with him and Jim the following week and sign the contract. The day before our meeting he called and mentioned that he won't be able to come due to another "big job" just assigned to him. He passed me over to one of his co-workers, Brian. Brian came over the next day and wrote down some additional details and mentioned that the whole job should not take more than a month, probably less. He collected my first payment and left. This is the last time he showed up on the job except for one more time to collect a second payment. Over the next three and a half weeks, I only had one worker for two days working on drywall and another worker for two days doing some flooring. Neither the drywall nor the flooring was finished. That's 4 days of work over a 25 days period! Not only the job is nowhere near completion, but each time a new crew shows up for work, Brian is not even present to show the workers what needs to be done. I'm the one to open the door and try to explain what needs to be done. I'm not a contractor! Brian never calls to give me updates or to talk about schedules. He only returns my calls to apologize but I see absolutely no improvement in scheduling or coordination. This is truly the worst contractor experience I have EVER had! I will never recommend Restoration Solutions to anyone!

We had a leaking faucet in a seldom-used utility room. By the time the leak was discovered, it had destroyed the vinyl flooring, baseboard and some of the drywall. Our insurer recommended Restoration Solutions (wwww.restsol.com) for rehab and we are very glad they did. It turned out to be a bigger job than originally thought – and took longer – because 40 yr old old vinyl in the utility room contained asbestos. That meant Restoration Solutions had to call in the hazmat guys in white suits Restoration Solutions foreman Rafael ran interference with the insurance company, and kept us informed every step of the way. His estimates of the work to be done and time it would take were right on. I wish we could hire them for all types of construction work but am glad they were our contractors for this restoration project.
