I read so many good thing about this guy and I was looking forward to having him do some work for me. On the day of the scheduled visit he showed up 15mins late. After he showed up he looked at my roof and we discussed the work. He said he would patch my roof (for a fair price) and then give me an estimate for replacing it. Well the guy completely blew me off and I never heard from him again. I was very disappointed to say the least. Rick came out and repaired my roof at no price. I was happy with the overall response to my review. Rick did an excellent job of resolving my complaint.

Rick Clark (owner) and his crew were great. Rick responded quickly to my request and provided a detailed quote via email the following day. I felt the price was reasonable for the work involved. His crew started work one week later and finished the job (approximately 400 square feet) in less than a day. The crew arrived on time, was professional and courteous, completed the work quickly and cleaned up when they were done. The rest of our house needs to be re-roofed soon and I will be using RC Roofing for that job as well.

Rick Clark gave us the estimate (three different scenarios) to repair our two leaks and we felt very confident in him as he explained in a detailed way how they would remedy our problem and it sounded like he knew what he was talking about. We are very happy with the repair of our roof and that they fit it in before the storm of the decade in January. The crew was prompt, worked hard all day and cleaned up the debris before they left. I can see why RC Roofing has so many glowing reports on Angie's List. It is a pleasure to do business with someone that is so upfront, honest and conscientious. We had three other bids but felt most comfortable with Rick's detailed bid and the work is warranted for 10 years.

Rick was very prompt and professional. He went over the problems with our roof very thoroughly during his evaluation. We had a leak and were concerned about getting the roof done before the rains. Rick came through with flying colors. His team was very professional, courteous and amazingly clean. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. We walked around the house and there was not a nail or piece of wood, tile or other debris anywhere. They took four days and worked in sections because the weather looked sketchy. They would have fininshed sooner but we had more broken tiles than Rick expected and the supplier couldn't deliver them quite as fast so that slowed things down a few days. Our new roof looks beautiul but more importantly - it has held up fantasticly under all the heavy rain without any signs of a leak!! Awesome job Rick. Thank You!

Rick responded to my request for an estimate quickly. He showed up at the appointed time and was very professional and personable. He examined my roof and explained what needed to be done both as repair and to maintain the rest of the roof. The written estimate was emailed the next day. I called him to schedule the repair and with the storm coming he said that there was only a 30% chance of a crew getting out before it hit. Was I surprised when on the morning of the 16th I woke to one of his guys standing on my front lawn examining the house. I was told that a bigger job was put on hold because of the storm so my job opened up. Jackpot! The crew was there for the entire day performing the repair and the roof maintenance. They were very courteous and answered all of my questions and addressed any concern that I brought up. The repair seems to have gone well as I haven't experienced any leak in the bathroom. They also cleaned up all around the house. I didn't notice any tile bits in the lawn when I mowed the next day. The repair portion of the bill came to a total of $1,505.00 which I thought was a bit on the high side. The 'maintenance' portion of the bill was $550.00 which I thought was very reasonable for the work they did. Based upon their response, customer service, and quality I would definitely use this company again though I might try to bargain a bit.

Rick shows up on time. Quickly inspects leaks and makes repairs as necessary. One vent required parts that he did not have in his truck but he agreed to come back later to fix that one. No need for me to be home, he simply competed the project and dropped an invoice in my mail box. Charged me $150 - the minimum for a service call. I would no reservations about recommending him to my friends.

He gave a prompt bid (lowest I obtained) and did the work in a very efficient and rapid manner. He did a few things for free as well which was nice. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. They cleaned up after the crew and everything went as planned.

From the very beginning I found RC Roofing to be a cut above other contractors with which I?ve worked. I first talked to Rick when I was considering buying a 3 unit rental property. The tenants were complaining about the roof leaking in several places. I found out later there was a lot of termite damage. I needed a rough idea of what my costs would be, so my wife would not be freaked out. Rick was thinking outside the box: he brought up Google maps and proceeded to talk me through how he was making a estimate by calculating dimensions from these satellite images! Later, when he took the actual measurements, he was within 10% of that estimate. I was pretty impressed. The job started on time but ran into a few problems, due to the roof being in pretty bad condition, and there being more termites than expected. He patiently repaired the plywood and other lumber, priming each piece before installation and charging me a fair price. The job took a half day longer than expected, with only a little in additional cost (which he warned me might happen if conditions were worse than originally thought) There were kids from the tenants who were playing on the property. So the crew each evening went around with a magnet to pick up nails and other metallic material to keep the work area safe for children. What attention to detail! The foreman of the crew, Steve, and Rick love their work, and they do a great job for their clients!

Rick and his team are absolute professionals in all aspects of the word. Having had the roof repaired on several occasions, I was not expecting much. They cam on time, did the job actually as promised, and when night fell, RIck himself returned to clean up the next day.

Rick promptly returned my call. He setup an appointment to come out and inspect the roof. Rick inspected the roof. He said there were no problems. He was willing to take the time to answer my questions.

Rick and co-workers were outstanding in every respect. Rick is a gentleman and a scholar in the science of roofing. He was very pleasant, accomodating, and trustworthy. He was everything what a reasonable customer would be seeking. Rick first came and climbed the roof to perform the inspection and diagnosis. He then sent his co-worker in two days to temporarily fix the problem, due to the upcoming rain. The completed repair was performed the following week when the rain stopped.

Recent rains caused roof to leak so I decided to get a repair and maybe replace the roof. Along the way I decided it was time to add the insulation. Two of three estimates I received included that as an option. Rick of RC Roofing provided the best solution and worked with me on the details that concerned me the most. The results were outstanding and I am completely satisfied with the work. Rick and his crew were prompt, fast, neat and organized. The whole job took a day and a half.

Rick Clark (owner of RC roofing) did an outstanding job from beginning to completion. I called during a period of heavy rains in December when he was very busy, but he made the time to come out and give an estimate within 1-2 days. This was one of the few companies that either answered the phone every time I called or called back almost immediately (Rick even gave me his cell phone # ) - excellent communication! It took nearly a month to get 2-3 additional estimates which only created major stress and confusion because each company had different proposals on what needed to be done, different price estimates, different warranties, etc. When I called Rick back a month later he actually came out a second time and did a more detailed inspection then spent a lot of time explaining/discussing all of my options. I decided to hire RC Roofing despite the higher cost estimate and I have no regrets. Some of the other bids were open ended (could have ended up costing as much or more), did not have any warranty or proposed a less complete repair job which could have missed fixing an actual leak source. RC Roofing had by far the best warranty (5 years vs 0, 1 or 2 yrs for others). This is critical ? I had already paid $1280 for ?repair? of 1 of the leaks by a diff. company 4 yrs ago, but the same area was still leaking (original leak source had been incorrectly diagnosed). Rick/RC roofing did a very complete and professional repair job. Not long after I accepted the bid we heard that a storm was predicted to hit the area - Rick made sure the repair got done before the rain started. Rick was present and involved while the work was being done and called me at work with updates. He also took several photos of the repair areas before and during the repair work which was very helpful. The job took 1 full day + the following morning to finish up (several workers). Rick does whatever it takes to make sure he correctly diagnoses and fixes the problems. He is not satisfied to just guess based on the usual roof leak suspects - instead he takes great pride in doing a very complete job and guarantees that the problems will be fixed. RC Roofing also completely cleaned up all debris and workers were careful throughout the process to avoid any damage from falling debris etc. I have great confidence that the repairs have really solved both problems this time and I'm very happy that I chose RC Roofing to do this job.

RC Roofing did a thorough job throughout the process (from estimate, to execution, to follow-up after completion). When questions arose during the estimate phase, RC Roofing answered all questions thoroughly. During the install phase, they did a great job of staying on-time, coordinating equipment and crew so as not to disturb tenants, and replaced dry rot wood only as needed. They handled the special needs for roof drains and roof access hatch installation. And after the job was completed, walked the roof with us and made notes for future improvements (to add additional roof drains).

This was a difficult problem with a non-standard design, including problems with how an upper story deck attached to the roof. Rick and his crew came up with a good solid solution that worked. They did all the work in one day, even staying past five p.m. to finish the job. I was extremely satisfied with their work.

Superb! Rick is a genuinely nice guy, easy to talk to, eager to solve problems and willing to give you alternate solutions. He is really knowledgeable about his business. He came within a day when called for an estimate, gave an estimate that was very reasonable, and did the work within a week. The work looks great and no more leaks. After the job was completed, I decided that I needed more roof tiles as spares. Rick picked them up for me and delivered them to my house and wouldn't even take payment. This kind of customer service is so rare these days. I highly recommend this great company - I will be calling Rick for a full roof replacement within the next couple of years.

Rick was pleasant and prompt. He inspected the roof and dropped off the written estimate. The only reason I didn't hire him was that his price was considerably higher than the roofer I did hire.

He was easy to schedule with and seemed knowledgeable. He was the most knowledgeable amongst the roofers in the similar price range.

From the beginning, Rick was clear, professional, non-condescending, very straight-forward. His crews spent a week working on our roof, including an exceptionally difficult tear-off because of the sub-standard roof an earlier contractor had installed. They were very professional. It's a very messy process, but they did a good job cleaning up as they went. Rick answered all our questions very directly, and gave good advice. He explains things very well. He's also very responsible. When one of the crew accidentally broke two panes of leaded glass in a window, Rick called a specialist in leaded glass to come in to replace it, and of course covered the cost himself. Our roof looks beautiful, our living room is SO much cooler, and we are very happy. We've encountered other roofers who seem less trustworthy, and were happy we went with Rick. We would recommend him strongly, and would use his company again in a heartbeat (though we hope we don't have to! That roof is going to last a long time!)

Re-roofing was performed efficiently & professionally.

He was very patient with the choosing of the materials. He gave advise at making a final decision on materials that were going to be used. He was really prompt. He did what he said he would. He was very nice to work with.

I had called RC Roofing to repair a minor leak in our roof. To do the estimate, the owner got up on my roof, looked around and then took photos using his iPhone. Once on the ground, he explained what else needed to be done and why. While I was prepared to hear that I might need new underlayment (home is 20+ years old), RC Roofing said that minor repairs would allow me to wait another 5 years before replacing the underlayment (and you know who I'm going to call for that!). The crew was friendly but also worked independently, which I appreciated. During the project, I asked two crew members (at different times) if there were any surprises that came up during the repairs. Both confirmed that everything was going to plan. They did run out of tiles and have to return the next morning, but they arrived promptly and finished the job. I expected a lot from RC Roofing and they met my expectations.
