They did a beautiful job. They didn?t take any money or a deposit, until the job was completed. I liked their services a lot and will use the same in future.

As a DIYer, I'm very thorough about each project that has to be done that I can't tackle. I had many questions and Rick was willing to discuss every aspect of the project with me. He got on the roof with me and described the process and answered questions I had, and let me be part of the process throughout. The demolition crew was in and out very quickly and the roofing crew spent the next few days meticulously reroofing my house. Fascia boards had to be replaced, so the crew carefully removed my gutters and replaced them when finished. They also answered any question I had through the process if Rick wasn't on site. They cleaned the property when finished and left no messes behind. And now I have a beautiful roof!

I called Rick during the rainy season last year. He returned my phone call immediatley and came out the same day to give me an estimate. He was very polite and helpfull and explained the work in detail which needed to be done. His crew was on time and very friendly and were able to answer my additional questions. I would recommend him and would definitely hire him again.

Had several leaks due to major rain storm. Called around (after checking Angie's list for referrals) to get someone out right away. Got lucky and spoke to Rick (owner) who was going to be in my area. Examined roof and clearly explained problem and what needed to be done. Common problem in this housing tract. Got proposal and compared with several others. Had another comparable bid and was also impressed with that owner as well but selected Rick since he had a larger number of positive experiences. Was hoping to get work done quickly but Rick was booked. He did say he would make every effort to fit us in and was able to squeeze our repair in a week earlier. Informed me of the date, crew got there on time and completed project in 2 days as promised. Job well done.

Initially called them to set up an appointment around first week of January right after the big storms in San Diego. Their voice mail said to leave a message but they were extremely busy and there were no appointments available until after the 17th of January. We left a message but did not hear back from them. So on the 17th, we decided to contact them again via email. Rick called within a few hours and apologized for not returning our message due to their heavy work load. He was very nice on the phone and we set up an appointment for 1 week later. He came out, hopped on the roof, identified the problem immediately and said he could fix it in 5 minutes. So he did! :) Overall, very pleasant to work with, and we'll call him again for any future roofing needs.

When we developed a roof leak and called him, Rick came immediately to assess the problem. He offered us a variety of options, with estimates for each one, and we decided to have the whole house re-roofed. Because his work schedule was delayed by the incessant rains in November and December, he was unable to get to our roof when originally planned. He made up for this, though, by scheduling a double crew that was able to do the whole job in two days, working on Christmas Eve to take advantage of a lull in the storms. They accomplished this with very little disruption to us, and cleaned up the roofing debris, etc., extremely thoroughly. This is an excellent company that has done work for us before, and has always done it well. The final bill for the re-roofing was slightly UNDER the estimate!

Checked with Angie's List after consulting with friends. Obtained five quotes and interviewed all bidders. Was most impressed with Rick of RC Roofing. His plan to repair our leaking, 18 year old roof made the most sense, and his price was excellent. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this roof job. He's great to work with and the quality of this job outstanding. Our existing tiles are not made anymore, and he searched around to find a tile that not only matched, but put them in a location that didn't show. Would not hesitate to recommend Rick to anyone!

RC Roofing did an excellent job. Returned my phone call for an estimate. Made an appointment for the estimate. Was on time. Explained what needed to be done. Gave me time frame of when and how long it would take. They arrived when they said they would and completed on time. The workers were very professional. The new roof looks great and they didn't leave a mess. The house is a rental and I will use them again for my home.

The owner gave us a 5% discount when I mentioned Angie's List. All workmanship has a 5 year warranty on labor. Workers came to job site on time and prepared with everything they needed. No errors were made, job went smoothly, workers were polite and professional. The head of the team spent time explaining questions we had about roofing in general and was very friendly.

I thought they were terrific. The gentleman, Richard, was very nice and professional. Their website and Angie's List said he provided free estimates, which he did. He gave a time frame for arriving which he stuck with. They cleaned up well after the project was completed. I thought the bid was reasonable. If I don?t see any leaks in the roof, he will continue to be my roofer.

Rick Clark 's RC Roofing had the best reports and the most reports of all the roofers on Angie's list. I also asked friends for referrals and found out that he'd done a great job replacing two roofs ,many years ago, for friends' home. I had high expectations and Rick and his crew exceeded them. Despite his being very busy, it was easy to reach Rick anytime during the entire process. After my initial call he came to the house , spent time addressing all my questions and gave us a clear , detailed proposal that listed every single aspect of the job. All this was completed within a couple of days of my call. He brought samples based on the general description of color and types of tile that I wanted. . I was dragging my feet and still weighing my choices right up to the last minute but Rick remained patient and helpful throughout. The old roof was removed on a Monday and the entire job was completed by Thursday. Everything happened each day exactly according to schedule. Edgar was the foreman on our job and he was professional and knowledgeable. He and the crew were hard working , careful with the patio surface & landscaping and pleasant to have around. The roof looks great . We wholeheartedly recommend RC Roofing. You won't meet a nicer, more honest guy than Rick.

Our condominium building is a five-unit, three-story structure and needed a new roof. RC Roofing, Inc. did a great job in every phase of the project. RC submitted a competitive bid that was complete, with no hidden costs. Their bid was in an outline, easy-to-read format, with the total amount and any required woodwork costs clearly stated. During the contract signing stage, Rick (the owner of RC Roofing) met with us to decide on a project schedule, clarifying the various issues that would come up during the project, e.g. putting up and taking down the required scaffolding, dust and noise, etc. The overall roofing project was well organized. RC started the project on time and continued the job until they finished, in five working days, completing the job ahead of schedule. All the workers were polite, friendly, and highly competent. The scaffolding folks took care to protect the landscaping and the roofers did a good job tearing off and hauling away the old roofing materials. The work crew installed all the roofing materials, as per our contract, competently and on schedule. At the end of the project, several of the workers cleaned up around the condo, even helping to move some of the potted plants back in place. We?ve gotten comments from people passing by the condo about how nice the roof looks. We are looking forward to the rainy season with no leaks! Good job, RC Roofing. We highly recommend you.

I got four estimates from: RC Roofing; Professional Roofing Services; El Cajon Roofing,and; Sunset Roofing. All these companies had good Angie's List ratings and, after meeting their representatives, I imagine all would do a good job. The four bids were remarkably similar. But, I had to choose one and I chose RC Roofing. The owner, Richard Clark, seemed like he would be easy to work with and eager to please, both of which turned out to be true. They started the job on the promised Monday and finished the following Thursday, also as promised. The crew was professional and friendly, they did an excellent job of roofing and a thorough clean-up. I would certainly use RC Roofing again and I highly recommend the company.

Our house, built in 1988, was cheaply made. A lot of the wood trim pieces were rotting out because of inadequate flashing. I called Rick at RC Roofing to get an estimate because of the good reviews on Angies list. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, surveyed the roof, gave me his opinion on what should be done, and e-mailed an estimate a few days later. I decided to get the whole roof replaced since it was over 22 years old. Rick went over my shingle choices and we set a date. Rick and his crew showed up on time and did a great job of replacing the roof and damaged wood trim. They cleaned up at the end of every day and even hauled away some old wood left over from when I dismantled my patio cover. Overall it was a great experience.

Wow. This is the number one best experience I have ever had with contractor of any kind. They showed up on-time every time and priced everything at less than half of what others had bid the same work at! Ric and all his staff were total professionals. It began as roof repairs and skylight repairs to our HOA roof and after we had some experience with Ric we went forward with some work we had originally planned to take care of 2 to 4 years from now. This was due to how impressive his work and work ethic were and I must say the price didn't hurt one bit. This is someone whom I know I can count on in the future if any problems come up in the future as a result of his work. 100% reliable, 100% customer service satisfaction, 100% happy customers - go RC Roofing!!!

Rick Clark is awesome. He came within an hour or so of initial call, went up and gave me an honest assessment of damage. While I was expecting to have to replace the entire roof, Rick gave happier news, and saved me a ton of money, just repairing the ridge, and a small visually warped section due to weather damage. His team completed the work within a week, quietly, quickly and without leaving a mess! Will definitely recommend RC to anyone with roofing needs!

It was an excellent experience! The owner came-out for the estimate. He said that he has had great responses from Angie's List. When he set-up to have the appointment done at our convenience, he notified us that the workers were going to be a few minutes late. I appreciated that he let us know that. He came-out and supervised the workers and got them started. The workers were out of here in no time and cleaned-up beautifully! I then received the invoice directly from the owner.

Rick recommended the right roof for my specific need and quoted me a competitive price. The job was done as promised. The crew was very professional. I got a 5 year warranty for the job. Rick is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His prices are very competitive. I highly recommend him.

After extreme rain and hail in late January 2010, I noticed the light fixture in the master bedroom closet was 3/4 full of water! There were no other obvious signs of leaks. RC roofing had repaired 2 sections of my roof last winter to address 2 leaks that had appeared in different locations on the ceiling (1 in master bedroom). I called Rick and he came out very quickly despite being extremely busy and checked it out for me (although the water showed up in a different spot than before there was still a small possibility that it could have originated the area repaired last yr). Rick inspected the roof and also looked up in the attic near the light fixture where water had collected. He found that water was getting into the attic from a different section of the roof (which was not involved in previous repair). Rick also pointed out termite droppings in the attic, which was very helpful because I never would have suspected we had termites otherwise. Rick took pictures of the roof area he inspected and sent a diagram detailing what part of the roof needed repair along with his estimate. He gave me estimates for 2 options - 1) lift tiles only around leak area, find leak source and repair ($875) with no warranty; 2) option described above (services performed) where the whole roof section is re-done and warranty is 5 yrs ($1650). I chose the 2nd option to reduce chances of future problems and I also wanted the 5 yr warranty. Rick was super busy after the huge storms that hit San Diego, but managed to send out his team to do the work within a week. The same foreman who did the last repair was in charge (has worked for Rick for many years) which was reassuring. The repair took 1 full day, but I didn't need to be home. I left my camera for the roofers to take pictures, which they did. I was very happy to find so many good photos showing the leak and problem areas! Rick also called me after the job was completed and explained what they found. Most or all of the water came in around the chimney where the flashing was not adequate (it did not have both layers of protection needed - bib+ flashing). He said other vents also had inadequate flashing, although it was up to code at the time the house was built (~1990). I was very happy with everything about the repair. I am also pleased that all of the previous leak areas that RC Roofing repaired a year ago completely held up to the extremely hard rains and hail we had this January - no signs of leaking. RC roofing does very high quality work!

Rick was fantastic and very customer oriented. He came out to give me an estimate within a day of my initial phone call and did a thorough inspection of the roof. He explained everything that needed to be done and took his time to discuss my options. He never pressured me into replacing the entire roof and provided a repair estimate, but I knew my 28 year roof was falling apart and decided to replace it. He scheduled the job within two weeks and the entire job was completed in 4 days as Rick stated. The workers were always on time, very clean and placed tarps over the plants, walkways etc. and everything was spotless when they were done. The whole project was seamless and the roof is beautiful. During the project Rick found multiple fascia boards/areas that had bad termite damage and needed replacement. This was not a surprise since our house is 40 years old, but Rick was fair and gave me a great price. The experience was great and I highly recommend RC Roofing.

Rick came out within 24 hours of first call. He emailed us a bid on the repairs by the next day. We scheduled the work a couple weeks later and the repairs were complete in 2 days. The work on roof looks good and leaks have stopped.
