Rick provided a complete description of the proposed work with samples of the roof shingles I was interested in. His price was competitive and seemed fair. They did a great clean up at the end of each day of work. I observed the job and everything was done by the book. No short cuts were taken. I couldn't ask for a better quality job. Chose RC Roofing based on Angie's List references. Rick responded very quickly to my request for an estimate. I did a walkthrough on the roof with him, and he identified several points at which I could have been experiencing leaks. I gave him carte blanche to do whatever was necessary to stop the leaks, including ripping out and replacing a copper cricket. His crew did the work in a days' time, were very polite, cleaned up after themselves, and their work was exemplary. They ended up not replacing the cricket, even though they could have made a lot more money on this job by doing so, and I would have been none the wiser. Afterward, Rick called me to walk me through what his guys had done, and to give me an update on the status of the roof. Classy owner, classy staff!!!!!!! You can bet I will use these guys again for any roofing issues I have, and will tell the world about them. Thanks, Rick.

I called RC Roofing for an estimate for a roof leak. Rick the owner responded and came out next day. Of the three estimates I received, Rick was the least expensive. I would to say however that all three were Angie's A RATED. All were courteous and responsive. I made my decision based upon price. Rick sent me the estimate then we set a date. He sent his foreman Edgar out to do the work. Edgar was friendly and professional. He arrived within the agreed time window. He advised me that to ensure no further leakage, they had to widen the repair area beyond what Rick originally estimated. Rick sent me the invoice and advised me that the repair required was beyond the original estimate but was happy to maintain our original agreed price. He did not even suggest increasing it. I am happy with this company.

I had a great experience with Rick. He was able to work me in betweeen meetings for the initial estimate, which he emailed to me that night. I'm pretty sure that was a Tuesday and he had a crew at my house Friday morning-accomodating the fact that I was off that week but going back to work the following week. I was entirely expecting there to be some water damage as there was a leak in the master bathroom but the crew said that the plywood had just come up and all it needed was to be nailed back down. They could have easily had me for some extra $$$ there but proved themselves to be completely honest and trustworthy-very impressive. The finished product looks beautiful and Rick came back that evening, took a look and answered all of my questions. I've alreayd referred RC Roofing to a co-worker.

Everything from start to finish on this transaction was unexpectedly quite perfect. Having gone through a previous remodel that presented challenges at every turn, we approached more work with a certain amount of trepidation. The estimate was adhered to and the price was fair. The people in the office and on the job were friendly and competent to a flaw. The quality of the actual work, and the cosmetic results were excellent. Nearly six months has passed and the roof has stood the test of time and the elements with flying colors. All in all, we are more than pleased to give RC roofing our highest recommendation.

We couldn't be happier with the job performed by RC Roofing. We had a leak in our living room and both a local repair was proposed as well as a more extensive inspection of the roof to be sure there were not additional leaks. We opted to go for the more extensive inspection w/repairs and it was definitely the right choice. Multiple leaks and areas of damage were found and repaired. Rick even took photos of all the damage and showed me so that I could see what was going on during the process. The entire thing was done in a day and a half and they even took down and hauled away an old gutter at the base of the roof. They were excellent!

Thank You RC roofing for the great work on my flat roof. This review documents my experience with a recent roof leak and the install of a new roof. I recently had a flat roof and window leaking problem. Although water was leaking through the flat roof and into the ceiling inside the house, the problem was not as visible as the water that was leaking through my windows. I sprayed water at the windows and there was no leak at all so I believe that water was leaking through the roof and into the windows. I had asked maybe 3 people to diagnose the problem and fix it. However, the problem was still there and I concluded it was time to cut my losses and hire an expert roofer. One roofer recommended a modified bitumen membrane, another recommended TPO, and Rick recommended a PVC roof. I researched all 3 roofs extensively because a new roof costs a lot of money and flat roofs tend to have leaking problems. I wanted a durable and proven product because the labor to put the roof on is usually more expensive than the product, not to mention damages that may occur as a result of a failed roof. I am NOT a roof expert but I thought I would post my opinions, based on my research, on the 3 recommended roofs. Modified bitumen roofs are a type of built up roofing that is a proven product with an extensive history. It is also the most commonly used flat roof as it can be sold to and installed by many people included unlicensed individuals. Modified bitumen roofs are good when done professionally by an expert. However, it does have a bad reputation because of bad installation by poorly skilled individuals. The opinion by many is that modified bitumen roofs are quite possibly the best roof if installed right and if multiple thick layers are used with a granulated cap sheet. So if you have a pinhole leak in one area, the water will just flow down to the next layer and stop there. However, a multiple thick layer modified bitumen roof is very costly, a lot more than a TPO or PVC roof based on the estimates I got. Warranties for material of a modified bitumen roofs start at 10-15 years and increase to as much as 25-30 years based on the number of layers involved and the material chosen. TPO roofs belong to the single ply roofing membrane family. TPO is popular, though not as much as modified bitumen or PVC, because it is a cheap roofing option that has had a good amount of success. However, TPO roofs in its earlier forms have also had a history of frequent failure. The current batch of TPO roofs is enjoying good feedback though. Many large buildings are using TPO roofs because of the price and the fact that it is a green roof. TPO roofs are white in color so they reflect lots of heat, thereby saving electricity costs from air conditioning. The contractor who recommended a TPO roof stated that a 60 mil TPO roof would get a 15 year warranty on the material. PVC roofs also have a long and successful history and are regarded as the best single ply roofs. People seem to recommend either IB Roof or Sika Sarnafil. Roofers need to be certified by IB Roof to buy their product and install it. Based on this fact, one should have confidence that the roofer is trained already and knows what he/she is doing. IB Roof also offers a lifetime warranty on the roof which is unheard of in the roofing industry. When you buy an IB roof, you are buying into a system basically which includes accessories such as PVC drip edges, copings to go over the parapet walls, scuppers, flashings, and fascias. These items are all manufactured by IB Roof and are designated to be used with the roofing membrane. One of the headlines that PVC roof manufacturers boast is that the seams on PVC roofs are stronger than the membrane itself. This is a very important feature as many flat roofs (excluding PVC roofs) tend to fail at the seams. Rick used to push modified bitumen flat roofs but now he is promoting pvc roofs as the better choice. I debated over my roofing choices for a couple weeks and finally decided to go with an IB PVC roof based on a couple things. 1. IB roof offers a lifetime warranty which surpasses warranties from other roofing types. 2. IB roof is a complete system. Other roofing systems may use components that are from a different manufacturer. For example, a Dibiten modified bitumen roof may use a vent from some ?X? brand manufacturer and use an adhesive, mastic, or caulk from some ?Z? brand manufacturer. The roof might not fail, but the materials that make up the system may fail first which will cost owners some money, time, and a headache to repair. 3. Roofs tend to fail at the seams and IB roof promises an exceptionally strong seam which is stronger than the membrane itself. Many people attest to this fact. Modified bitumen roofs may be cold adhered or heat adhered but either way, the seams are weaker than the membrane. 4. The price of an IB PVC roof is just right, not much more expensive than TPO and cheaper than an excellent multiple layer modified bitumen roof system. 5. PVC roofs resist water ponding which may occur on flat roofs. Modified bitumen roofs offer no guarantee against water ponding. 6. IB roof only sells their products to certified roofers who are trained to install their roofs. RC roofing is certified to install IB roofs and they have excellent reviews on Angie?s list. Almost anybody can buy a modified bitumen roof of one brand or another. 7. Many horror stories floating around of failed roofs are by modified bitumen roofs, TPO, or EPDM. PVC roofs have a pretty clean history. So Rick came by and installed my IB roof quite quickly. He did not offer a guarantee that the window leaks would be fixed because he wasn?t able to confidently promise me that the roof leak was causing the leak at the windows. This was fair enough since I would rather that he under promise and over deliver than the other way around. Rick walked me through what he did when his roofers finished. 1.5 months later and maybe post 2-3 strong storms and the roof is doing great. There are no more leaks at the windows so it looks like the leaky roof was causing the window leak. I haven?t had a chance to test Rick?s labor warranty service, which is 10 years, since the roof is so new so I can comment on that aspect. However, RC roofing has an A+ on the BBB and the company has many positive reviews on Angie?s List so I am pretty confident that Rick is a stand up guy and he will honor warranty claims should they occur. So at the time of this review, I conclude that Rick is Legit and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and IB roofs if someone is in need of a flat roof.

Rick was quick to survey the roof and provide an estimate for needed repairs even though it was not an emergency situation. RC's crew showed up on schedule and worked professionally and diligently to complete the work in the estimated time. The repair has has solved the leaks through rain events since the work was completed. We plan on using RC again for all our future roofing needs.

Quoted me to fix a $1,200 roof leak for $6,000. There are much better providers out there with a more reasonable rate.

I couldn't have imagined a better experience getting my roof done. From quote to final review of finished project Rick and his crew were nothing but professional. His crew was there everyday (3 1/2 days) on time, they were courteous, they worked hard, they left the area cleaned up each evening. I picked RC roofing because of all of the positive reviews (and to boot his price was slightly less than another highly rated company and quite a bit less than companies not even on Angies list. ) I just can't say enough good things. My roof is awesome, every detail was done to perfection. I am sure it won't leak anymore and if I was you I would hire them. Above and Beyond- that should be their slogan!

They educated me on my roof system, and how to fix the problems. I did this and the roof has not leaked since. They did not charge me anything and I will definately use their services in about 5 years when my roof needs to be replaced.

I contacted RC Roofing to repair a small leak on west side of my house. I received an immediate and courteous reply. Within a short time frame, Rick Clark came out to my house, "sized up" the work that needed to be done and communicated that back to me clearly and concisely. As part of my due-diligence, I had 3 other roofing contractors give me an estimate to repair my leak. In the other 3 instances, each tried to convince there on the spot that I needed to look no further. By comparison, RC Roofing encouraged me to speak with other roofing companies, as well as to investigate RC's work history with other clients. This convinced me that RC Roofing definitely was the company for the job. RC Roofing began on time and completed the job quickly, taking full advantage of the good weather. Moreover, when speaking to a next door neighbor, I was told that RC Roofing associates were very politie and considerate and offered to clean up any mess that may have found its way onto their property. She was very impressed, as am I. The best of experience I saved for the end. RC Roofing's bid was quite a bit lower than any of the other three companies. How do you beat that? We initially requested a quote for repairing leakage in a small flat-roofed addition we have. Jim came out and provided us a quote and consulted us on the needed repairs. With the quote of $1600(ish) sounding reasonable, we went ahead and hired the crew. Within one day, the roof was complete, and looked great!Unfortunately, we knew based on Jim's conversation with us that our Main Roof was in desperate need of a new lid...and the next batch of rains proved that it was integral to making the new work done on the addition be beneficial.They quickly got back to us a quote and explained our options. Their professionality and kindness won our business. Within a week, they had our main roof completed and looking spectacular! They even repaired some woodwork for us at no extra charge!Highly recommend their Team. Rick and Jim were absolutely wonderful to work with.

Very prompt in returning initial call even though it was very busy time. Another roofer had said my roof just needed to be replaced at a huge cost. Gave a fair estimate and did a good repair in one day, cleaning up to the point I didn't even know they were here. Even sent a before picture of the damaged roof and what was causing my leak.

He came out and was very professional. He was strictly business and did everything he said he would. He said he would send me an estimate and when he sent it to me, it was slightly higher so I ended up using someone else. He was very good and I probably would have gone with him if the price wasn't higher than another company.

I wish all contractors had Rick's level of professionalism, customer focus, and quality work. He was responsive and patient with all my questions. Not the absolute lowest price, but a good price. The final cost (payment in full after the job was completed) was actually a little lower than his estimate. With a roof, the following quote definitely applies: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.” Rick's price and quality combine to provide outstanding value. I have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.

If the original builder of this $500,000 home did work as good as Rick and crew, I wouldn't have had to do these repairs in the first place. Sharp, polite, timely, delivers. Will definitely call RC Roofing for any roofing needs in the future.

Roof leaks are very hard to detect and fix. We were taken advantage of by one roof company who did a "cosmetic" job. Ihighly recommend RC Roofing because of their hard work, skill and integrity
