I specifically purchased reticulated porcelain tiles in order to have a thin grout line, and specified that as a priority. Dick picked up the tile from the warehouse and spent time with me to identify the color grout I wanted and made suggestions as to what exact layout of the tiles would look best. He followed through with careful installation relating to my preferences, and dealt with the unexpected finding of uneven cement flooring underneath the original tile by grinding it down so it could handle the new larger (18x18") tiles. While he offered to obtain and prepare all the molding, I wanted to purchase and paint the molding myself-which he was fine with, and he therefore did the installation of that at a reduced price. As I was so pleased with the work, I hired him again when I decided to redo more of the flooring a few months later. As this included a bathroom, he did a masterful job of cutting the tile to fit around the toilet base and installed a new toilet at no extra charge (saying "I would have had to put back the old toilet anyway"). On both jobs, he kept the work area very clean whenever he left, and was open to any suggestions or additional requests I had.
