We purchased Peachtree Windows and Thermatru Fiberglass Exterior doors from Progressive Components when we built our home in 2001. We spent about $30,000 with Progressive Components, yet when we began having problems, Larry refused to help at all. Within the first two years, the Thermatru Fiberglass Exterior doors were warped and would not open and close properly. Larry made a bunch of excuses and refused to back up his product or even cooperate in honoring the manufacturer's warranty. Since we just joined Angie's List, we are posting this now. Take our advise and go elsewhere. Progressive Components will not be there for you after they have cashed your check.

Nature does forgive ignorance. This house is about 100 yards from crashing surf. Raw unfinished wood will take on moisture and swell. Even with a beginner's knowledge, one would seal raw unfinished wood on the edge of these doors. Every manufacturer requires it to have any warranty at all. These are the sad results of breaching a contract and bringing in an unqualified painter. Photos were taken to establish responsibility for the failure, but it is apparent that actual facts do not matter. Careful explanations were made to one who refused to accept any responsibility for her own failure.
