It was on a weekend, an emergency-type thing, so it was very expensive because it was overtime.

They do a good job. Prompt and professional.

I was referred to Dave from another plumber who couldn't fit me in. When we spoke initially, I told Dave to just fit me in where he could since it wasn't an emergency. He called me the afternoon before to tell me that he could send someone the next day. The work was fine. He originally thought I might need additional work but then realized that everything was fine. The new vanity and faucet look great and work fine. My only complaint was he was two hours late and didn't reach out to tell me this. I had to hunt them down.

Shane came out for the estimate and recognized my unique situation with the slope of my property. He understood I wanted to avoid using a separate sump pump to get the washing machine to discharge to my city drain, so we worked out a suitable alternative. After having a few plumbers/contractors estimate this job, Powers Plumbing was the most straight forward and reasonable. They were able to come out within the week and do the job in one day. Quality in the job was good and cleanup was excellent. Overall I was very satisfied and I would use Powers again for my next plumbing job.

The cause of the low flow in the shower was dirt in the wire strainer. The cause of the low flow in the two faucets was not clear but after reassembling them, they are working properly.

They were great and were out twice. They knew what they were doing.

Came out late night in short notice and unclogged the drain successfully. They were supposed to come back and follow up with maintenance but never did. I enjoyed the way they did their billing.

It was fine, the guy was nice and did a good job.

Worked well with our schedule, clean, punctual and efficient.

Update on this. I got the bill from Powers and the cost was supposed to include the first two hours. So even though the plumber was not there for two hours, I got charged an extra 1/2 hour for his driving time from the office to my house in Clairemont. No one told me that I would be charged for driving time and I find this a little ridiculous. I was going to have them do the big work for me but I won't now! They were also supposed to get back to me on a bid for the work, including installing a clean out. It has been a week and all I got today was an invoice. They were also supposed to provide me with a video of the camera work which I have not received. The guy I talked to on the phone today said he would have to look into it. So I changed my initial A's to C's and F's for the following reasons: Price: F because I was not told I have to pay for the driving time. This may be current practice but it should be disclosed up front. Quality: C because I have not received the video of my sewer line and it has been a week. Responsiveness: C because they did respond right away to send people out but should get an F on follow-up. Punctuality: A still because everyone got there on time. Professionalism: C because they were nice but the price gouging and lack of follow-up are very unprofessional. So even though Chris was a great guy and did his job, the back office administration part is what I am complaining about and the reason I will never call this company again. Chris is the only reason they are getting C's and not F's on everything else.

I had a leak in my bathroom sink at 1:30 am Sunday. The emergency dispatch rep was very helpful and gave me the choice of calling the plumber immediately or waiting until the morning. I had her call him in the morning and he arrived an hour later. He completed his work in one hour, recommended replacing water valves under my ancient sink, replaced a hose, and cleaned my faucet head. He was efficient, pleasant, thoughtful (said he wouldn't want to charge emergency rates for the valve replacement and to call during regular hours), and was careful to clean up the entire project. He had to shut off the water for the entire condo building and was very concerned that the other condo occupants were not inconvenienced. After completing his work, he waited to be sure all the water was back on and that the water pressure was OK. I was impressed with him as I have always been with Powers Plumbing. I have used their services for almost 30 years and am always happy with the results. They are a bit expensive, but worth it because of their exceptional work.

They did a great job, I was very pleased. They were quick and efficient.

Arrived on time; accommodated short fuse appointment and did a thorough water pressure test at the front and rear of our home. Carefully eliminating potential problem sources to isolate problem. Made a quick repair when problem isolated!

We contracted LB Powers Plumbing to handle all of the plumbing work for the remodel of our home. We could not have been happier. When you hire LB Powers you don’t hire a company you hire a family. From Janet at the desk to Shane as the supervisor and Robert doing the work there is no one in town who can do a better job. Ours was an extensive remodel which required a lot of scheduled and unscheduled time on site. Robert was always on time when scheduled but more importantly he respond quickly when the unexpected occurred, very common on projects such as ours. He saved countless days of delays due to his rapid response. There isn’t one member of the LB Powers Plumbing Company we have come in contact with we wouldn’t have in our home for dinner. The quality of the work? Unsurpassed! Simply put, you can’t find a better plumbing company in San Diego. They are the best, period!

Work was performed punctually and in quick order.

He was competent and professional. It was was definitely pricey because it was $89 per hour, and I wanted them to look at some faucets for me as well but was unable to repair them. Plus he spent 20 minutes trying to find a parking space so that made it even a more expensive. I may use again, but will probably look for someone closer next time.

I called on a Friday night. Janet was friendly and helpful. Robert showed up the next morning and was quick, professional, and left everthing in perfect running order. I could not be happier with the service, response, time, and friendly attitude. Pricing was competitive. I will definitely call this company again.

The quality of the work was fantastic. Kevin did a great job and was very knowledgable. The cost that powers charges however was substantial. $89/hour! Thinking about becoming a plumber!

They could not tape with the video camera to view my problem. They also bid to high for me.

Overall I had a wonderul experience with a somewhat stressful situation (plumbing not draining/backed up). I called the number on the Angie's site and the woman listed answered the phone, told me how they billed and sent someone within the hour. Very professional.

Patric the foreman and estimator came out and advised that the fixtures I wanted to install would work with extra effort. He couldn't match online prices so we agreed to have me order everything online and then drop them by the shop to make sure we had everything before coming out on the job. The parts arrived a week later and I dropped them off with Patric and he scheduled the work. Larry called prior to our scheduled appointment and arrived on time. Quite a bit of extra work. The issue was that the original work produced a deck that required 3-1/2and quot; fixtures which were not available with a diverter and hand-shower. He had to ream out an inch or so of wood for the 2 fixtures and diverter with limited space through an access cover under a built-in desk. The holes for the fixtures also had to be enlarged to allow for the new fixtures and hand-shower. It took a patient and meticulous person to do the work. It all came out beautifully and the tile and everything looks original.

The job was overall done well. The cost, $350, while high, was in line with what the water company told us we should expect.
