I gave Dave a drawing for a patio and he executed it perfectly. It was a smaller job, 320 sqft, so he was able to fit me in a few days after I decided to use his company. Dave's team was very accommodating to a change I needed to make that I realized as they were framing the patio. I added 13 sqft to make a grill fit better and still have room to get around it. Dave delivered exactly what he said he would. He helped me pick the color and recommended the light brushing. It looks great. They did it all in one day! I couldn't believe it. All they had to do the second day was pick up a few things and that was it. We had to say off the patio for 3 days to let it cure. And Dave met me back there to see that the work was well done, and for me to pay him. I'd use them again for any concrete work. Their crew was nice, worked hard, asked questions about details to make sure I would like the result, gave advise but were not pushy, didn't try to up-sell me, put the customer first, etc.
Description of Work: They installed a 320 sqft patio where there once was just rocks. They piled the rocks as we agreed, then they removed the required dirt to provide the proper grade to slope the water run-off. They framed up the area and poured the concrete, leveled it and lightly brushed it. I went with a solid color concrete from their list of choices. I didn't want it to be slippery so I didn't want stamped. I also didn't want the maintenance issues of stamped either.

Dave and his team did a great job! They were extremely efficient in demo'ng the old concrete driveway and were careful to avoid damaging nearby utility lines, etc. Dave's team leader, Leo, kept me informed throughout the process and involved me in minor decisions, which needed to be made during the course of the work - which I appreciated. Preparations for pouring the concrete drive and walks was also done expeditiously and with due consideration for the site layout. The pouring of the concrete culminated the 3-day process and the team did a fantastic job finishing the surface of the drive with attractive borders - adding to the pleasing appearance. All in all, I'm very pleased with the job done and feel that I received great value for the price paid.
Description of Work: Demo'ed existing driveway, plus existing front and side concrete walks. Removed tree roots from under existing driveway. Disposed of all rubble, tree roots, etc. Poured new concrete driveway, plus front entry walk and side yard walk. Added 12" decorative borders and other highlights.
Some minor scheduling hiccups, but everything else went extremely well. Both the owner, Dave Parker, and his foreman, Leo, were clearly very interested in our happiness with the final outcome of the project; they took their time to perform all tasks beautifully, and modified the staining/finishing process as we went to our taste. It is refreshing to have a company take extra time and effort to do an excellent job rather than to just finish quickly. We highly recommend this company.

I have nothing but good things to say. Communication with Dave went very smoothly and he did exactly what he promised. He was very helpful and patient in terms of helping me decide how to make the walkway more attractive and where to put sleeves for future irrigation. He and his crew offered to remove some very large overgrown shrubs near the patio at no extra charge. They suggested that they scribe an attractive border around the patio, which they did, and it looks great.
Description of Work: Replaced a concrete patio and walkway that had been badly damaged by tree roots. Demo'd the existing patio and poured a new one.
Gold Struck in San Diego!! Cliff Notes: Hired Parker Concrete for Retaining Wall and Paver Yard Parker Concrete provided excellent consultation services. Parker Concrete did an excellent job and gave tons of freebies Parker Concrete?s crew members found a massive amount of gold and returned it. Repeat: Parker Concrete?s crew members found a massive amount of gold and returned it. We are totally satisfied with the work done from top to bottom and would wholeheartedly recommend Parker Concrete for all services offered. An honest company with impeccable morals and values. This was the best sentence I came up with to describe Parker Concrete since it?s hard to accurately describe them in a couple words or a sentence. My terraced retaining wall recently failed and the top wall fell down. Our family decided that we should also remodel the backyard when we construct a new wall. I contacted several companies for bids. Dave from Parker Concrete came by and surveyed the work, drew a design for the patio, and gave me some options for the work. He also advised us to check if insurance will pay for the retaining wall work. We were surprised that he mentioned this to us, since insurance companies take a long time to pay out so that would delay Parker Concrete from starting the job and collecting payment. We were getting a feel for the honesty from Parker Concrete which we value a lot. 3 other companies, with good reviews, came to give us bids but all the offers were a little bit higher than Parker Concrete. In the upcoming weeks, we discussed with Parker Concrete on wall designs and cost. Dave was always professional and responded quickly even though the job might not be his. After more discussions, we chose Parker Concrete based on their excellent reviews on the internet, A+ BBB rating, honesty, and price. The proposed wall is a 3 feet 6 inches engineered one, Country Manor by Keystone, which uses the Geogrid system. Dave had strongly advocated for a traditional wall using split face blocks, cement footing, and rebar since it is a tried and true system. However, we like the looks of the Country Manor wall much more. Our failed wall was built incorrectly and lasted well beyond 20 years so we were confident that the Country Manor wall would last us much longer. Dave proposed stamped concrete for the patio and walkways based on high durability, good appearance, affordable cost, and low maintenance. We were concerned about the concrete cracking which can happen to any concrete surface. Dave reassured us that he can minimize the risk of the cracking by strategically placing control joints in the concrete but there were no guarantees to this method either. We decided to go with pavers which are more durable than concrete, replaceable, and looks better in our opinion. Stepping stones were proposed for the walk way from the back yard to the front yard. Dave Parker and a crew of 5 guys came by and started working on our place in November 2012. The back yard had some personal items that needed to be moved. Dave took initiative and helped me move all the items. The crew started demolishing the wall and yard. They excavated the work area, moved loads of dirt from the slope, and prepared the back yard for wall and paver construction. The crew worked hard daily and Dave came by everyday to work or to check on the progress and make adjustments as necessary. Changes are common with every construction job but Dave was easily accessible in case we had questions or needed anything. Dave was clearly on top of things. Things were going smoothly as planned. We were happy with the work so far but Dave wanted to spoil us. He tossed in freebies left and right so the wall and yard can look nicer. These items were expensive and we never bargained for it initially so Dave had no obligation to give us these freebies and lose profit. We have worked with many contractors and companies in the past and no one ever gave us any or as much free materials/work as Dave did. The Juicy Part: Things only got better from there. One morning Dave knocked on our door and told us, in a serious tone, that he needed to talk to us in private. We have never seen Dave so serious before so we were feeling kind of anxious and nervous. Dave bought in two of his crew members and he explained that something happened on the job which he has never experienced before. I thought to myself that maybe someone got hurt or there was a new twist to the job that would make it more difficult and costly to finish. Dave continued to explain that the guys found something. I had no idea what he found so I just made a joke to Dave that he found gold. Well, joke is on me sort of since the crew really did strike gold and not lots of it. We were totally shocked when Dave showed us the gold he found in our back yard. There were a lot of feelings at the moment. Dave explained to us how the crew found gold and where they found it. We could only nod our head since we were speechless. It took awhile to let everything settle in. A couple days passed and we were still in awe and disbelief at what had happened and how people can be so honest. One crew member dug up the gold but he decided to involve his coworkers instead of hiding it away quickly. The whole crew could have split the findings among themselves but they decided to report it to Dave. Dave and crew could have kept everything a secret but they decided to return the gold to us. It?s unbelievable that a whole company shares the same values and morals. I got a chance to know Dave a little bit better as the work continued. Simply put, Dave is just a typical hard working family man. But there were many aspects of him that made him admirable including his sense of responsibility to his family and employees, his motivation to succeed, and his honesty of course. Dave told me that he considers his employees as part of his family and he works hard so they can have a job as well. It appears that there is truth to this as Dave?s employees are very loyal to him and people only put their faith in someone whom they trust, admire, and respect. The job was completed in the time frame that Dave estimated. We did a final walk through and everything looked fantastic. The installed drains functioned as expected. The Country Manor Wall looked sturdy and the pavers were gorgeous. The stepping stones topped off the project nicely. Dave?s crew made a staggered walkway with rectangular steps that were composed of patterned pavers. The employees accidentally destroyed a concrete stoop outside of our sliding glass door but they gave us an upgraded paver stoop when they rebuilt it so we came out on top once again. Everybody who came to see the finished yard loved how clean and beautiful the wall and patio looks. The job finished up with a Phil?s BBQ lunch. We thanked the crew for everything and we got to know more about each one of them. It was a good feeling to do something for the guys to thank them for the extra work that they put into the job. This project really didn?t feel like a business transaction where you just paid for someone?s work and then went your own ways. It felt more like having a trustworthy friend come over to help you with a project. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend Parker Concrete for all masonry work, retaining walls, and patios. I would hire Dave and crew for all construction needs if he offered it since it is so hard to find honest professionals who perform quality work at reasonable prices. Thanks Again Dave, Leo (lead crew member), Jose, Goyo, Carlos, and Markx

The crew spent 4 days preparing the site and the last day pouring and finishing the surface. The employees appeared to be well trained and used to working together. They were efficient and courteous. Dave Parker was on site a lot and was a pleasure to work with. He had a lot of ideas which helped improve the final product. He seemed to always be conscious of the cost of things and tried to keep costs to a minimum. At first glance, the contract amount seemed to be a lot, but he was very competitive with others, even offering more for less than most of his competition. He completed the job for slightly less than the contract amount. Dave was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him to others, and would certainly use him for projects in the future.a
Description of Work: Parker removed existing blacktop driveway. Removed extensive invasive tree roots. Leveled and compacted dirt. Installed forms all around and laid rebar. Created a 16 inch deep root barrier along a portion of the driveway edge. Poured 4 1/2 inches of concrete and finished entire driveway in one day. No color or stamped surface. Well finished. Added a 16 inch border crack line and well designed stress crack pattern. The crew returned after a few days and cleaned up the entire site. Prior to the pouring, he laid down a couple of extra (spare) conduits for future cable runs or water lines, at no charge.

Dave and his crew were extremely professional, from the beginning of the process all the way through to the end. Dave was thorough in his estimate and provided me with a very clear and detailed estimate, along with options that I could make to help balance the overall cost. I was provided with a expected start date of roughly 5 weeks out. This was a little longer than I wanted, but Dave is a man of his word and he will not (did not) bump his schedule around because of other jobs, perhaps bigger, going in front of us. This happened with us with another contractor, which was extremely annoying. Dave kept in communications with us as we got closer to the start date, and then when the day finally came, Dave was out with his team to make introductions. Leo, the job foreman, is amazing at what he does. He and the full team did an incredible job and were extremely professional throughout the whole process. My wife and I (and the kids), love the finished project! We will certainly call Dave Parker again if we are taking on any additional projects down the road. PS: The only reason I rated them a "B" on their price is because their prices are a little higher than others that you'll find out there. However, they are not the highest prices, and ultimately, I truly believe that you get the extra value, professionalism, and assurance that comes along with Dave's service. Well worth every penny!
Description of Work: Parker Concrete removed a narrow pool deck that was originally installed with the pool, and replaced it with a much larger poured concrete pool deck, with a drain. They also installed a beautiful sitting wall along our back yard which really helped to dress up the overall look of the yard. In addition, they finished off landscaping work on our side yard, which included an incredible feat of pouring concrete underneath our pool, and AC equipment.

This job went great. Dave Parker (owner) and his entire staff were professional, detail oriented, hard working, punctual and experts at insuring all details were covered. I was especially impressed with the knowledge and broad expertise of the staff, professionalism and pleasant demeanor of all who worked on this job. One important thing to do is always have all work detailed in the quote so you can compare accurately between contractors. Dave Parker provided a detailed estimate and kept to the original quote even though the job required a few extra steps and this was appreciated.
Description of Work: Demolition and complete replacement of garage floor and house entry walkway. This job included: diamond sawing around the heater/hot water heater during demolition to eliminate the need for additional HVAC work, excavation of 4" soil within the garage to add sand/visqueen moisture barrier, removal and reinstallation of custom built cabinets attached to walls, addition of diamond saw control joints in new concrete, demolition of front walkway and addition of new walkway with inlaid decorative brick, installation of 6 drains in planters adjoining the front walkway. Very smooth start to finish. Dave let me know when he came out to discuss and estimate that mine was a very small job and he had a backlog of business. He was frank that if I wanted it done soon he wouldn't be the guy to go with, but that if I could wait 3-4 weeks, he'd be happy to oblige. I went with this arrangement since I didn't really care how quickly we got started. That timeline went ahead without any variance. Good, frank, informative initial meeting with Dave Parker for the initial scoping and design details. Dave listened closely and was able to make some color and other recommendations which succeeded well. Since I am retired, I was at home the two days it took to demolish the drive, haul it away, and then create the new one. Both to keep an eye on what they were doing and also out of sheer curiosity, I kept regular tabs on progress with the work. They had the misfortune of beginning work on two of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures over 100 degrees. The whole crew worked with incredible energy, I was amazed how they kept at it almost without break. I am extremely happy with the result. One of my neighbors a few doors up came by to admire the work and get Dave's contact information to replace her patio.

Beautiful job performed by Dave Parker and his crew. His bid was competitive with other bids I received and his ability to deal with City Inspectors and the various city departments to obtain permits was much appreciated. This saved me time and money and frustration. His crew arrived on time every day of the project, worked hard and knew what they were doing. If you have broken sidewalks, curbs or driveways that the City of San Diego doesn't want to replace or help replace then I would recommend Parker Concrete for this kind of work.

From start to finish, the project was exceptionally well executed. Dave Parker was very thorough in his original estimate. He made it clear from the start that there may be added expenses depending on what was found when the stucco walls were opened. Dave was fair with any change orders that had to be made. It was very easy working with Dave as he is very personable. The Parker crew were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, hard working and very efficient. The foreman on the project, Leo, touched bases with me at least once a day to keep me informed about how the project was progressing. He also let me know what my options were when something unexpected arose. I was impressed with Leo's problem solving abilities. For example, the new concrete path and steps were elegantly expanded around an air conditioning unit. We were so happy with the work that was performed that we have decided to do another project with Parker Concrete and Masonry.
Description of Work: We had external leaking of water into the internal walls. It turns out that the stucco weep screed had been buried under a concrete walkway that went around the house. We had to have the concrete walkway removed, the weep screed replaced along with new waterproofing paper and rebuilding the bottom of the stucco walls. The path around the house was lowered and a new concrete walkway was poured. The original walkway had some very steep areas so we added steps. In the process, sprinkler lines had to be rerouted.

Once we had demoed the old slab and part of the walkway we needed someone to create a new walkway. We probably could have done this by ourselves with some help from friends we still though that hiring a pro would be a good idea four couple of reasons, the walkway is at prime spot on out lot, thus it is not a good place to practice ones concrete pouring skills and also because the limited time we had for completing this project. We contacted five concrete companies operating in north-county San Diego. Each company showed up but one of them failed to give a quote even after we reminded them. From the four estimates we got we selected Parker Concrete because we felt that Dave (the owner) really understood what we wanted, maybe because he was the last we asked and after explaining our idea to already four other people we might have been able to communicate our vision more clearly that what we did for the first company. In any case we still felt that Parker Concrete would be a good choice even though they were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Our only concern was that maybe our job is too small for Parker as they are doing much bigger commercial jobs as well and they would put our job to low priority, which is something that happened with another company which did new stairs for us some time ago. After agreeing to the price and scope Dave told the date when they would have time to start our job. Starting date was two weeks in future which was totally fine with us. Job was estimated to last two to three days from start to finish. Three workers and Dave showed promptly on the day the job was agreed to be started. On the first day they did some base preparation and started setting up the molds. Next day they finished everything to be ready for pouring the concrete the next day. On the third day morning concrete truck showed up and they poured the concrete in couple of hours and after that did the finishing touch and clean up of the work site.Overall we can say we are very happy with the end results and work performed by Parker Concrete. If we ever have any concrete work, which we feel is too big for ourselves, for sure we will contact Parker Concrete again.
Description of Work: After we had demolished an old concrete slab and part of a walkway we needed a new walkway with a curb. Overall the work included a broom finished walkway, 6" curb next to the new walkway and to some part of the old walkway, a drain pipe under the walkway and catch basin and a sleeve for future electrical wiring. Job included all work from base preparation, building the molds, digging trenches and installing drain pipe to pouring and finishing the concrete.

I have approx 175' of concrete driveway which was broken-up by neighbor's trees. The bid from Parker Concrete was one of 5 bids I received. I chose Parker Concrete for several reasons; knowledge and experience of Dave Parker, owner, his understanding of the issues (tree roots, drain system), price, and his obvious honesty. Parker Concrete could not have done a better job. Dave was very clear on what he thought needed to be done, how he recommended it be done, and what I should expect. The result FAR exceeded my expectations. Leo, the job foreman, and all the other workers were on time, worked very hard, and showed care for my property. At the end of each work day things were cleaned-up and tidy. There were issues (tree roots, complex drain system with limited slope) that added to the complexity of the job. Parker Concrete knew what they were doing and completely resolved these problems. Some issues came up as we proceeded with the project, and Dave always suggested the BEST solution, at HIS cost. He threw in several "freebies" so that the job would be completed in the best manner. He never tried to throw-in any inferior solutions just to get the job finished, and never expected, or asked for additional money. Dave always suggested the best solution, not the cheapest or quickest. I am 100% satisfied with the completed job, and the work performed by the Parker Concrete crew. They worked hard, long days, never skipped-out early or arrived late, and were on-site every day they said they would be there. Leo was incredibly patient with my endless questions (I had never had a construction job of this scale, and never a concrete job). The time that Leo took to make sure that the slope of the drainage system was correct was very impressive. There are NO low-spots in the driveway, no water pooling. The drainage system works perfectly. The "freebies" that Dave suggested worked-out perfectly. I highly recommend Parker Concrete, and Dave Parker personally, for any job. I got more than I expected with no additional costs. Dave and all his crew were professional, polite, herd workers, and know their craft. What more could I possibly ask for?

Had several schedule changes but this partly was caused by our own add/change to original project adding patio in back from original side concrete pour. Wished there was a bit better communication in regards to finalizing project, but the actual work went very well with no issues. Worked was done as discussed and quality of work was excellent. Took about a month for concrete to cure and get sealed but end product is excellent quality. Very pleased with end result. Would use them again.

As we all know, prior to pouring concrete you have to insure all drain pipes (for landscaping irrigation and drainage) are laid, additional pipes if electrical wiring is run under the concrete. He was adamant about using the type of drainage he wanted to use and wasn't open to our ideas of the drainage we've used in the past and had a high success with. When dealing with this man, everything we wanted accomplished seemed like a major chore to convince him we were serious...after all it's our backyard and we wanted it done the way we wanted it done...period! We didn't want stamped or decorative concrete...we wanted to keep it simple to minimize any mistakes. We wanted extra cuts lined in the concrete during the finishing process for a decorative element and when cracking occurs, to hopefully have it crack in those additional lines. During this time, this Dave Parker just 'nickel & dimed' us to death. For small brass drain gates he charged $45/ea. and you can find them at Lowe's for $15-$18/ea. so I bought a couple. He was outraged that I would even consider taking money out of his pocket by doing this. I wanted to fire him on the spot, but my husband said let's just get it done. So we did. His foreman, Leo, was the opposite of this guy and very willing to explain why this was needed, why this is recommended and listened to what we would like to see. Although the 'fall' for the concrete wasn't great and they chose for simplicity's sake to put in a fall instead of adding another drain line. This hasn't worked well near a utility door, as they raised the concrete as high as the bottom sill of the door in this location. After it was all over, this Dave Parker gave me a $5 coupon to a very expensive restaurant, that we would never go to. I don't know if he thought this was clever (about his speed) or this was his way of 'getting back' at me when I almost fired him and disagreed with him on several points. He didn't even have the guts to give it to me himself, but sent poor Leo to do so...who looked extremely embarassed. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN...for any reason whatsoever. Life is just too short to deal with people who want to 'cookie cutter' every job they do, 'nickel and dime' you to death, argue about the lines, drainage, etc., instead of doing what you'd like done and what you're paying for. This job was contracted for $7936.50...we ended up paying $8,805.50. Do yourself a big favor...use someone else!
Description of Work: Dave Parker ( Owner of Parker Concrete & Masonry) came out to our home to give us an estimate of our mid-size backyard area. They did no demolition or remove our existing concrete patio (we hired a separate demolition crew to do this as their price was excellent & they did a great job). We simply received a bid for installing colored concrete layed. We didn't want stamped concrete but rather something simple, with additional 'bands' or 'lines' put into the final product. We've owned numerous properties over the years and had several experiences with Contractors installing concrete. That is why we were adamant that 'dobies' (small cement blocks) were used to tie in the rebar above the grounds' surface. If not done, the rebar sinks to the bottom of the concrete and absolutely does NOT provide any strength to your concrete pad/patio. We've lived this before and the contractor says...'Don't worry, we'll lift the rebar as we pour and finish the concrete'. They may say that but they never do it because they are far to busy scraping, leveling, lining and finishing the concrete. Subsequently, we insisted this be done and right away Dave Parker says he doesn't do this and he will 'personally lift the rebar during the pour. I explained our experience and said he wouldn't be hired unless this is done prior to the pour. He very grudgingly agreed and at this point, I should have dropped him and looked for another, we wish we did now.

Response from Parker Concrete
In response to comments listed above: • 2x2” concrete dobie’s were installed per costumers request, rebar was also manually lifted during pour to insure the rebar remained in the center point of the concrete. • SDR-35 Drain pipe is industry standard pipe, which is always quoted in the initial bid; per costumers request pipe was upgraded. • Brass drain grate were quoted at $45.00 per unit with installation. This includes the product and the labor, which consist of installing a T joint, coupler, extension, gluing and securing. Parker Concrete prides themselves on being a small company and connecting personally with each costumer. In this scenario there were change orders that required additional cost but there was also a significant amount of extra work/labor that was provided at no additional cost.

Dave and his crew (Leo, Jose and Goya) were professional in every way. Dave's presentation of the bid was done in a professional way with ideas and pictures. The bid was reasonable and came in at about the same as our other 2 bids. His workers were friendly, talented and on or before time for the workday. Dave was on the worksite every day, inspecting the progress and quality of the work. Not only would he make suggestions to enhance the project, his team leader (Leo) would also make great suggestions. His crew were pleasant and hard working-you could tell they liked their work-our neighbor even remarked about how they seemed really happy doing the job. We are very happy with out new driveway and patio and would definitely recommend Dave Parker to anyone. An outstanding job well done.

My job wasn't very big, so I did have to wait a bit to fit into his schedule. However, I had a party scheduled and told him the latest date the job could be finished. He finished ahead of this schedule and the patio looks great!
Description of Work: I have a stamped concrete patio that was done 13 years ago. David's group power washed it, stained, and put a protective coating on it.

We didn't use them, because they never returned our multiple calls. We were incredibly impressed with Atlas as our cheaper alternative.
Description of Work: I met with Parker Concrete to discuss the job. They did send a bid that was $2000 higher than Atlas, for fixing a crack in the slab. I left several messages requesting a conversation about the quote, in case there was some difference in the job, but NEVER ONCE heard back. Also, the quote did not suggest or offer (as in the case with Atlas) to get an engineering stamp on the job, which I never would have known was a possibility. We didn't end up using them.

Parker Concrete installed a new concrete patio slab with footings on three sides in our backyard. It is a beautiful start to the transformation of our 35-year-old, tired backyard. Dave Parker met with us to discuss our needs. We were immediately impressed with his experience and numerous suggestions. His crew was professional and friendly. The leveling, installation of sand/rebar, and pouring occurred over three days. His crew was on time each day . The slab excavation, footings, rebar installation and Simpson Strong Tie anchors were placed in accordance with approved building plans. Approval by the city inspector was quick with the comment that the work and site was clean and neat. The Simpson anchors were properly placed after the pour. Very simply the patio is gently sloped as appropriate and beautiful in "San Diego Buff" color. After finishing, the crew cleaned up, leaving our driveway and the street clean. His price was very fair (lowest of our bids). Our general contractor said that he would hire Parker Concrete to do more work in the future.
Description of Work: Installed backyard patio concrete slab: Excavated and disposed of grass and dirt. Leveled soil for proper drainage. Installed sand base and rebar. Installed approximately 661 SF 4" thick colored concrete. Installed hand tooled control joints.
The work started at the time promised by Dave and proceeded through to its conclusion on the fourth day without incident. He and his team members were very courteous, professional, and extremely meticulous. After the initial layout for the concrete, I was somewhat concerned about the angulation of the sidewalk. His crew had designed it for proper water runoff, but I was as much concerned with the esthetics. Dave was more than happy to talk this over with me and we reached an agreement that was very satisfactory for both of us. While he was at the rock distributor arranging for delivery, he saw that there was a sale on a rock that was superior to what we had chosen for the same price. We were able to upgrade at no additional cost. He also spent a great deal of time searching for tile that would match the existing tile. The final product was outstanding. The front part of the sidewalk perfectly matched the existing sidewalk including the tiles, and the rear sidewalk matched the concrete in that location. I would not hesitate to recommend Parker Concrete to anyone!
Description of Work: Fabricated a new 50' long sidewalk which connected our driveway with our back yard using about 175 sq. ft. of concrete. Also graded the side yard, dug out 6 shrubs, placed weed barrier fabric and applied 130 sq. ft. of crushed rock to a depth of about 3 - 4 inches. Additionally, replaced a 50' long section of irrigation line and provided 6 new risers and 2 new valves. Also laid 8 terra cotta tiles at the beginning and midway through the sidewalk to mimic the existing sidewalk on the other side.

My experience was very good. They really treated us well. They definitely gave us a good deal and they told us exactly what was going to happen, right before the plan. So we knew what they were going to do, which is a good thing. We might not need them, but if we ever did, we would use them.
