Charles was so informative and was very friendly and helpful. He did not express any opinion towards a definite brand unless asked. He patiently answered questions and looked up BTUs for different ranges when I only asked for one. He was great! I’d ask for him when you stop in.
Description of Work: Bought appliances for new home being built. One stop shopping.

The instance today showed bad customer service by Pacific Sales, their chosen warranty company and A&E Repair Service. I will try and shorten this story as much as possible. I spoke with Pacific Sales twice, the warranty company three times and A&E three times all to obtain one service call. The first call to Pacific Sales was to forward me to the warranty company, which I was somewhat politely told not to call Pacific Sales again but the warranty company. I called the warranty company and was very unprofessionally treated but after 30 to 45 minutes of repeating my name and every item two or three times, I did ask if they wrote anything down, they said I had an appointment and gave me all the information. Something came up about the time and I decided to call A&E to rectify the issue. A&E told me I had no appointment. I called the warranty co. back and asked to speak to a manager. This was the second time since we owned the refrigerator that I was told by the warranty company I had an appointment and did not. The last time, A&E just did not show up. The warranty co. would not let me speak with a manager but said I had an appointment. They said there was a mistake in the computer system that they corrected. I called A&E back, they said no appointment. I asked to speak with a manager, and actually got to speak with one (later the warranty co said I was duped into thinking it was a manager and it was not). He said no appointment. I called the warranty co. back, asked to speak to a manager again, I was not able to. The woman would not let me tell the story just told me if I would be quite and listen, her computer said I had an appointment. I hung up. Called Pacific Sales, Ashley told me they did not want to listen to the story either and that they had nothing to do with the warranty and I just needed to call them. Period. I said they chose the company and they should care. She said they did not. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND. I do not want my home address published.
Description of Work: This has to do with the customer service provided today. In 2014 (I believe) we bought a refrigerator from Pacific Sales. The service at the time was very bad. We had a horrible time getting anyone to help us. We assumed it was just a bad day. It was not. The customer service since then has been horrible also. The instance today has to do with the extended warranty that was suggested and obtained through Pacific Sales. The assistance on the phone regarding it was insulting.

Bought a dishwasher and oven from Pacific Sales. They have one of the best selections in town, but a little over priced. The 18 month 0% APR option really helps though!

Sergio was the perfect sales person for us. He told us about the differences between the European and American dishwashers. We then told him what we wanted in a dishwasher. Then he asked us more questions about other features that we had not thought about. He was then able to direct us to a couple of dishwashers that would do nicely for us. Again we relied on his expertise and questioning to decide on a dishwasher. I don't think I've ever selected a major appliance so quickly. It was wonderful. Once I got home, I remembered another question that I wanted to ask. I emailed our sales person, and he got right back to me. In deciding about various features, my husband and I didn't always agree. Sergio was smart enough to not get involved unless he could figure out a win/win situation for us, which I think happened in the end. My intent was to buy a dishwasher the day after Thanksgiving or the day after Christmas. Sergio said that the dishwasher would be the same price that it was then at those times, so we didn't have a reason to wait. The dishwasher was installed the very next day by a different company. Pacific Sales made the necessary contact. We just had to answer the phone to agree on the time for the installation. I've only run the dishwasher once at this time, and I'm very pleased with our purchase. I will go back to Pacific Sales the next time that I need something that they carry. It is wonderful to talk with a sales person that knows his products well.

Pacific Sales is a great place to get what you want, at a little higher price. The sales people are knowledgeable and very helpful. However, the contractor for installation, Eand C Installations charged us $600 for fitting the two appliances in where the old ones were. Because only my elderly mother was home, I believe they upped the charges a bit since they were there for only 2.5 hours. Plus, I have yet to receive a receipt detailing the services I was charged for. Jim Yamaguchi is the Pacific Sales manager, and he's a great source of information. If you buy from PS, go through Jim to ask him about the products you choose and the best contractor to install them. If you get Eand C Installations, look out for Allen, the guy who comes out and and quot;supervisesand quot; another hard working guy who does all the work. Get a firm estimate in writing for the installation costs and get a receipt.
Description of Work: My wife and I purchased a gas cook top and built in oven to replace the old ones in our kitchen that were ready to poop out. We went to Sears and looked at their selection and prices. We were not impressed. Because we bought our Bosch dishwasher from Pacific Sales a couple of years earlier we decided to check them out. Pacific Sales had 20 displays to Sears' 8. We liked the quality and selection to pick from and with the help of our salesman Brandon (he's good), we purchased a Dacor cook top and a Bosch oven. Price was higher than Sears but the quality was exactly what we wanted. Two days later the appliances were installed.

How did it go? Awesome. These guys (especially Brandon Nibarger) are pros! I was in the neighborhood and arrived without an appointment to see about purchasing, and having installed, replacement appliances for the ones that were originally installed by the builder. Brandon is very professional, knowledgable, efficient and a great communicator. I told him what appliances I currently had, and that I was looking for the and quot;value pointand quot; for replacements. (Meaning, I wanted top quality, good-looking appliances but was not interested in over-paying for unnecessary features or a name-brand that didn't truly add value.) Within 30 minutes Brandon had suggested a selection of appliances that would fit in my existing spaces, would be high-quality and reliable, good looking and a good value. His suggestions included stainless-steel KitchenAid convection double wall ovens, two dishwashers, a built-in microwave, and a two-zone Avanti wine chiller with pull-out wooden racks. Without my having to ask, he offered prices completely competitive with the best that I had been able to find online and his suggestions were right in line with the reviews I had read online. Knowing that I was on a tight timeline, he was able to immediately check if the specific models were in stock (they were) and could be delivered and installed the next day. The courteous and professional installers arrived on time, went right to work, and knew how to remove the old ones without damaging the cabinetry or my freshly polished marble floors. Within about two and a half hours everything was beautifully installed, tested, demonstrated and they were cleaned up and on their way. I absolutely recommend Brandon and Pacific Sales for their top-notch selection, product knowledge, courteous and professional service. A great experience from start to finish.
Description of Work: Replaced old white applianceswith new stainless steel ones. My 36" Thermador Professional range and built-in refrigerator are fairly new and in good condition, but the double wall oven, two dishwashers, microwave oven and wine-captain were older, and out of date in appearance and features.

I spent about 3 weeks shopping online and at other major appliance stores in San Diego and found that Pacific Sales had very competitive prices. They had a price compare/match policy for written estimates and honored mine from another local store. This saved me an additional $300.
Description of Work: Purchased all major appliances for a total kitchen remodel. Will have these delivered and installed by this company as well.

The salesperson was nice, but the cashiers were not adequately trained. It took several trips to deliver the appliances in working order and for the correct price. I still have a problem with one appliance.

We chose Pacific Sales based on price and the availability of the appliances. We purchased the appliances on first thing Wednesday with a promised delivery of Friday. Friday morning, they called and said I'd have to wait several weeks for the washer/dryer but would install the rest that afternoon. The crew arrived at the end of their 4 hour window that day and were not trained how to take out our old fridge, though the salesperson Stefan assured me they would. They had to leave; it took me over 30 minutes on hold to get in touch with a manager Randy who assured me all appliances would be delivered, installed, and old ones removed Tuesday. Tuesday rolled around and the crew came to take out the old fridge, but they had no new appliances to install. After having to go down to the store, (the drive is shorter than the wait on hold) Randy assured us Wednesday would have all 4 appliances installed as promised. He kept saying it was up to the delivery service, and couldn't understand when we were upset he was unable to control Western Delivery. When the appliances arrived, after they had taken out the old appliances, there was a problem with every single new one! The range has a funny back that makes it stick out into the kitchen (salesman did not tell me that) the "counter depth" 36" fridge is actually a bit bigger in all dimensions and wouldn't fit in the cabinet. Time to install the washer dryer, and it has a huge dent in it!! The delivery guys offered to take it back, but I would have to wait weeks for a new one. I took the dented one with a promise of a $100 refund that has yet to materialize and I have to wait on hold 30 min. to make it happen. When we called Randy to complain about all the problems, including the dent, all he repeated is "but you got them, but you got them, but you got them." He has no care at all about customers. We are completely remodeling a bathroom and will stay far, far, far away from Pacific Sales, sure they have competitive prices but have no concept of customer service. Their salespeople are friendly and will tell you whatever you need to hear to make the sale, omitting important details about the products. After you sign that credit card slip, you are out of sight out of mind! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Description of Work: We purchased four new appliances for our home: washer, dryer, refrigerator, and range. We paid for their delivery service which required us to purchase all connectors from them as well.
