Otis Merry Painting

The Otis Merry Painting company exceeded my expectations. The extensive work included painting 8 rooms, ceilings and walls, Everyone was consciencious and accomodating to all my requests. The work was neat and finished as promised. I would highly recommend this painting company to others and plan to use them to paint the exterior of the house in the future.

Otis came out at the appointed time, made careful notes and measurements and got back to us with an estimate a few days later. His estimate was in the upper middle of those we received, but I was impressed by his careful attention to the detailed notes we had given him saying what we wanted done. We scheduled a time for the work a few weeks later. He and his men arrived at the appointed time and started work. He let us know what to expect each day as the work progressed, which made it easier for us as we tried to stay out of the way and make preparations for the work his crew would be doing each day. He said at the time of the estimate that the work would take between 5 and 8 days, and at the end of the 5th day it was done. After inspecting all of the work on the weekend, I identified a number of minor fixes needed and he arranged to send one of his painters the following monday to fix them. The result is just beautiful.

It was a bit tough getting the job scheduled due to little contact after I returned the contract. But once I was contacted as to the start date, the job went quickly and the house looks great. Crew was very respectful and friendly. They kept the house secure when they left for the day. Otis came daily to check on the progress and direct the job. Alex and Ray were great to work with. I will definitely use their service again.

It went extremely well. He is a perfectionist, and thinks of things that home owner would not think of. He is very timely, and makes great suggestions. The people he works with are also very accomodating. Their standards are very high, and they are great to work with . They are also terrific about coming back to fix any issues, even after you've paid. I would highly recommend this company to friends and neighbors. Their cleanup is also excellent, they are very fastidious.

It all went according to plan. Otis helped us select colors that complimented our home. His crew was wonderful, on time each day, and cleaned up daily. He left us ample paint for touch ups if needed in the future. He will be our go to guy for any future projects. Our home looks great!

The proposal was complete and showed an attention to detail that was reflected in the work performed. The painting was performed exactly as requested. The work crews were punctual and professional. My freshly refurbished hardwood floors were also preserved in the process! Delighted with the results.

This my 3rd time hiring Otis Merry and my experiences are better each time. This was my far the biggest job I've had him do. Bought a new condo and gutted it. Otis was the first tradesman I called. He met with us and provided us with ideas to increase the "wow" factor. We love the way this guy thinks! We selected colors with his assistance and had him install base molding which would balance the crown molding. He put casements around all the doors and window to add elevate the look and everything popped with the high gloss white on all the trim. He and his crew were very flexible and accommodating with multiple add-on tasks. Serving as our own project mngrs with multiple contractors/tradesmen was a grueling experience but I must say that Otis and his crew required No looking after/managing. Everything went exactly as planned and we never had to worry about the quality of the work. His crew (shout out to Danny & Alex) were efficient, worked clean, respectful towards us and our home, and I swear Otis must only hire perfectionists. If only all contractors err like Otis Merry, I might consider another remodel some day.

I contacted Otis by phone and asked him to come out and provide an estimate.. He was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to start the work a week later. His staff was wonderful! They cleaned up every day..were on time..told us exactly what they were going to do...and made the project seamless. Otis was out every day to check on the progress and to ensure that we were thoroughly satisfied with the work being done. I am delighted with the final results! Our 50 year old home looks new and I'd recommend Otis Merry to anyone who wants a quality painter>

the first meeting went very well I thought , BUT THEY DIDN'T CALL BACK WITH A ESTIMATE , i CALLED THEM ,BUT NO ANSWER.

Our first meeting with Otis was extremly helpful in listening to our ideas as well as giving suggestions to enhance the project. Otis and his workers were very respectful of our property during the whole project. They were positve and made the experience as easy as possible. Even knowing the carpet was being replced Otis and the others were very careful to keep the carpet as clean as possible. Prior to painting our furniture as covered so the no pint went onto the furniture. Otis and his workers were very professional and at the end thanked us for the work. The completed project was done professionally and we are extremely happy with all the work.

The man who came out was good. He showed up on time. The price was reasonable. There were some companies that charged cheaper and there were some that charged more and they were in the middle. The man really had skills and did a great job.

The guy was very prompt. He did not come out when I called him, and he called me right back and set up a time for him to come out. A couple of days later, I was going with a friend of friend for like really cheap. I called him back and left a message, and he called me back and thanked me for telling him that I cancelled and everything. He was very friendly and professional. I would definitely get a quote from him again in the future.

Otis and his crew gave a fresh look to a studio apartment that I rent out. The trim, door and cabinets were very dated. Otis recommended a color that is both stylish and classic. The place is completely transformed. I have fairly new carpet in the studio. The painters left everything just spotless. We got several bids for exterior painting and stucco repair. We were encouraged by the positive reviews of Otis Merry Painting that we read on Angie's List. Otis Merry contacted me quickly after my initial contact. He came out to the house and spent a lot of time with us discussing how his company would handle the job of painting our house. He answered all of our questions, especially how to deal with the lead paint testing. He provided us with a reasonable quote in just a few days. We were very impressed with his professionalism. Otis also informed us that he was a colorist and he provided a lot of guidance in helping us choose the right colors for our house. He listened to our desires and concerns and then suggested a color pattern to us. Otis Merry and his crew were extremely easy to work with. They conducted themselves in a professional manner. They were courteous, responsible, and cleaned up their work area each day. We would not hesitate to use Otis Merry Painting for other projects and we highly recommend them if you need some painting done.

We received three estimates (two from Angies List) to paint our one story wood siding and stucco home. Two of the estimates were within $100.00, but Otis impressed me with his obvious professionalism and knowledge. He carefully pointed out all of the work his crew would perform, the obvious areas needing repair and how they would repair them, and worked patiently with my wife to select the exact shade of color she wanted for the exterior of the house. His crew arrived on one day to power wash the exterior. After a weekend to allow the walls to throughly dry, his crew arrived promptly to begin an exceptional job of preparation of the external surfaces before painting. They sanded, caulked and filled, primed, and masked the exterior surfaces before painting. Their attention to detail and careful and competent work was oustanding. Otis' crew showed up as scheduled, they were all polite, highly professional, knowledgable and competent. Otis kept us informed on progress and what to expect each day. They were extremely careful to ensure the paint was kept off of windows and paved surfaces surrounding the house. They cleaned up the work site each day and while they stored ladders, gound cloths and other materials and tools on our property overnight, they kept their area neat and out of the way. When the project was completed, there was no trash left behind. They even removed some old paint I had stored on the property for some time. They were extremely responsive to any of our requests. Otis Merry Painting did and outstanding job painting the exterior of our home. We are extemely pleased and we certainly use him for ay future painting needs and commend and recommend this firm to any one seeking a paint contractor.

It went well. Otis worked with me to help in the color selection process and was accomodating on scheduling. His staff is very professional and they were punctual, which is very unusual these days! They were very courteous as they worked in my home. They cared about cleanliness during the job and did a great job cleaning up when the job was done for the day. Otis stayed on top of things and was in communication with me throughout the job.

Otis and his crew were at our home for 3 days painting. Each day, they arrive right on time. All members of his crew are very polite and professional. They work quickly and neatly. Otis works with them and was onsite for nearly the entire job. Otis is conscientious about the final product and made excellent suggestions about paint color. We made a couple of changes at his suggestion that definitely improved the final result.

I would rate the overall job an "A+.," because it went extremely smoothly. The crew arrived each day on time, moved the furniture carefully, and painted expertly. All of the employees were friendly and easy to get along with. The job was completed on time and on budget. Without question, I will definitely hire Otis Merry Painting again. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Otis Merry has been my go to painter for over 10+ years. His team of professionals do excellent work. Otis is particularly good at consulting his clients on color choices.

Overall my experiences with Otis Merry Painting have been great. They started when they said they would, handled changes when asked, finished on schedule, and the owner of the company oversaw the projects personally. He had great advice as to color choices, finishes, and paint types to use. The end result is custom and professional. they are not the cheapest, just the best painting contractors I have used.

From start to finish this small project went as planned and though this was a small project the entire experience with OTIS MERRY was EXCELLENT. I most definitely would recommend them for other projects in my home. They a professional; work quickly and CLEAN UP WELL..... i.e. left no mess! Exceptional service!

From the day Otis' crew showed up to the time the job was completed, I was kept up to date on progress and what I should expet in the coming days. They kept thier work area clean during the day and put all thier belongs away when they were done at the end of the day. When the project was completed, there was no trash left behind.
