Perfect job. They had a thorough understanding of the work to be done. They confirmed the details of the work before starting and executed the work exactly as planned. They also left behind mulch at my request which saved me the cost of purchasing mulch to be delivered. Also, they are tree experts and can advise on trimming, pruning or tree disease issues. There is no better company and the prices are reasonable.

Steve and his team/crew are the best. I've used other tree trimming companies in the past and never been completely satisfied. From start to finish, you know you're in good hands. If, for some reason, you aren't 100% satisfied, Steve always makes it right. My wife and I are very particular and wouldn't think about entrusting our old oaks with anyone other than One Tripp.

Arborist Dave (a very knowledgeable guy) turned up on site a day before the scheduled work to do final preparation inspection and to place "no parking" signs to save curb space for their trucks which would arrive the next morning, Crew boss Sergio arrived one hour before scheduled start to confer with me as to my wishes. The balance of the crew (four members) arrived on time and went promptly to work. They worked very skillfully and quickly at pruning back the tree growth (seven years since the last reduction) while taking considerable pains to protect my property and belongings. In about 2 1/2 hours they had finished all the cutting work and began the clean-up. They were especially careful about picking up debris in two adjoining neighbor's yards, and made sure to leave them spotless. Each time they finished reducing a tree Sergio consulted with me to determine whether I was satisfied with the "look" of the smaller tree. In general I was pleased with the way that the crew reduced the trees by working under their own instincts. I did make one or two requests to prune a bit more, and they quickly took care of these. They then began feeding the vast pile of branches and leaves which they had produced into their tree chipper and roughly an hour later the resulting mulch was safely inside their truck. They then went over the lawns, patios, and even the roofs to remove the last traces of debris. They finished, again Sergio checked with me for my approval, and they departed about six hours after they arrived (that time includes a 45 minute lunch break). My trees now look well-manicured and the exterior property now has a much-improved appearance. This company will return for the next round of tree reduction!

A crew of 5 came out and completed the job in about 4 hours. They are thoughtful about what they are doing and great with the cleanup after the job. They trim our other trees as well. They are very easy to schedule with. They are punctual and reliable. The pricing is very reasonable and they do exactly what they say they will.

The day of the job, they were punctual and the crew was very professional and were willing to listen to our input. They cleaned up all their mess and made sure we were satisfied with the job. I would definitely use them again.

They sent Dave Ephron, a certified arborist since I think he said 1991, to take a look at my trees to address some concerns I had about how tall some of them were getting, how to better shape others, and whether roots wood impact my new stone patio. He addressed every concern and answered questions that occurred to me during the discussion. He was on time, courteous, clearly highly knowledgeable about trees and, without charging me for this great consultation, gave me an estimate of what it will cost to keep my nice trees the size they are. He said I can go another 18 months before I really need service, which is not what one would expect, except from a very honest company who cares more about long-term reputation than about immediate gain.

The same excellent service I have enjoyed from this firm for the past 13 years. I highly recommend them for any and all types of tree service.

tree trimming and stump grinding.

Recently moved into a house that has two old stumps on the property. Contacted them for removal. I am in Escondido and their place of business is listed as Carmel Mt Ranch. When I spoke with them on the phone, they stated that they were located in Sorrento Valley and that is was and quot;out of the areaand quot; to travel to Escondido unless they charged a $100/hr fee for travel time to and from my house. The reason they stated was that the and quot;stump grinding crewand quot; was separate from the regular tree service crew. Seemed very uninterested in my business.

The guys did the job in just under 4 hours and left the site in nice shape. They climbed the tree, lowered the pieces on ropes, and made it look easy. They also trimmed a couple of other trees for us as they were cleaning up. The guys also cut wood up in small chunks for us to use in our fire pit. I rated it a B on quality, just because there was just a bit of cleanup and details that could have been better - but an excellent value for the price!

Arrived 1 1/2 late, because he need to go find a chain saw. While cut tree, gave neighbor estimate on removing her tree. Return to contnue job 15 minute later. While cleaning up the yard, he blew the residue across the street into a public laundry mat.

Overall, went great. I moved into my home 4 months ago and had to deal with a neglected yard. Their estimator, Steve, showed up on time for the first appointment. I explained my vision for the over-grown olive tree and the podocarpus. I asked about the palm tree also (but figured I have to wait on that because of budget issues), and also removing the dead bush. The estimates were way under what another arborist quoted and because of high rankings on Angie's list, went with One Tripp. I accepted Steve's estimate that day, and he said the office would call me soon with a date for the work to be done. They actually called that afternoon and the work was scheduled for a few days later. The workers showed up on time, we discussed the work. They were very professional, got right to work, had a chipper behind their truck, hauled away everything, swept up and were gone within 3 hours. A neighbor has already called and asked for the name of the company that pruned the olive tree because it looks so good. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely use their services again.

No problems. Estimator was very knowledgeable, articulate, friendly and took plenty of time to discuss our project. Work was completed within a couple days of contract agreement. Work was done to our expectations and clean-up was thorough.

Provided prompt estimate via e-mail. Answered all questions thoroughly before work began. Coordinated well with "Dig Alert" to ensure that stump grinding did not damage underground pipes, cables, wiring, etc. Removed all debris as promised ( and even a little extra left behind from cutting down the tree). Pricing was most reasonable of three bids recieved. Because cell numbers were provided there was always someone who answered- no calls went to voice mail. Grinding was a few inches below grade as promised. Tina was very knowledgeable about stump grinding. Adjacent windows were protected from flying debris.

I was pleased with the knowledge of Steve and Sergio. They proposed and carried out an appropriate trim of some trees that had overgrown the space that they are in. All the crew did a good job.

Steve (certif. arborist) gave estimate--took his time/listed price for each aspect of job/provided additional info beyond expectations. Got 5 bids($1500-$7000), they were second lowest at $2300. I liked their preliminary customer interaction and apparent expertise. Licensed and insured (provided certif of ins w/ me as "additional insured" upon request). Were able to start job within a day or so of signing contract. Outstanding job site prep--they came with tarps and sheets of plywood to protect the white stucco on the house. I have had bad experiences with other trimmers, so I had already tarped the parts of the stucco likely to be stained as they carried cut tree branches from backyard, but they were prepared to do it for me. Use of 4x8 plywood was helpful as well. Pine removals were difficult (one in danger of falling on my house); they roped the branches down as they cut them with no house damage and minimal collateral damage to nearby bushes/trees. Climbers did not use spikes on trees not being removed, seemed to observe appropriate safety procedures. Cleanup was excellent (including the motorhome-sized pile of brush I had cut before I decided to call in the pros). It took two days to do the job (they worked from about 8:30-4:30, longer day than other trimmers I have had) and they provided two crews the second day to insure it was finished on time. Potential problem: during the trimming something fell on an above-ground sprinkler valve. Steve had it repaired upon discovery, said to call him if it leaked after glue dried. It did (connection to 1" pressure line had been cracked). I called to report problem, Steve and Chad came to evaluate situation. I installed/maintain my sprinkler system and I can say it was a difficult repair. Chad returned next morning and quickly performed very professional/clean repair which is holding. Steve NEVER quibbled about repairing the damage or attempted to claim they were not responsible. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SERVICE-ORIENTED! Office staff also very professional (as were all workers) and responsive. I was impressed that they did not request payment upon completion; they mailed me an actual net-30 detailed invoice and I paid them promptly. This is absolutely the best tree-trimmer experience I have ever had--be sure you give them a chance to bid your job!

The experience was great. I called and their Arborist, Tina, was able to rearrange her schedule to meet me the same day! After receiving the estimate I called to schedule the work and they were able to get to me within one week! On the day of the work I let their crew in and they did their magic from there. The tree is gone, the work area is clean, and the price was amazing.

The arborist, Tina, is great - very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. The crew showed up on time, had great communication, cleaned up well and finished on time. Enjoyable and easy experience.

They are reliable and come on time. We've always been very happy with their services and have been using them for a few years now. The price does vary just depending on what you have done.
