Description of Work: Checked freon level, cleaned filter and compressor. I rated them already. This is the second time you email and phoned me.

Description of Work: order was for one outside hose faucet replacement. the representative came here and after working on the faucet for awhile, told me that he could not replace it due to the way it had originally been installed, and that the pipes were not copper (they are the plastic type). He put it all back & then we found a leak under the house. He went under & said that something had come loose while he was working on it. So he fixed it by tightening evrything up But a few days later there was water and lime marks on the outer bricks from water leaking through. They came back, but again just tightened up the connections and said to watch it for future leaking. It is still leaking when I turn the faucet on, but seems to not leak otherwise. So we are back to where we were before anything was done at all, and I paid the $59 but never got a replacement faucet. Quite disappointed. Would appreciate my $$ back.

Description of Work: The technician showed up on time took a look at my furnace and told me I needed a new thermostat and wanted an exorbitant amount of money to replace the one I had in place. I declined and went to home depot and bought one for a fraction of the price. The new thermostat works fine.

Also made recommendations and bid for replacement of hot water recirculation pump and explained benefit of reducing water use and reducing cost of gas for heating water.

Description of Work: Okay. I purchased a servicing for my heater for $43 on Angie's List. A workman cleaned up my heating system, suggested a carbon monoxide alarm, which I've purchased, and then wanted me to replace a piece that had a little rust on the edges. I said I'd like to know the pricing for that repair. He wrote up a bill with three options, from about $1000 to $2000. The options varied in the work and service visits, but I figured out how it works. They sell this very good value and get a workman out there who tries to sell you inflated service/repair fees on other jobs. I asked, as long as I had a plumber here, for some other small repairs: toilet running, stoppers broken in sinks. They sent a second plumber. The option the second plumber came up with was buying a new toilet and other new equipment. The three options were even higher than what the heating technician had tried to sell me. In the end, I had everything repaired for about $250 in labor and $110 for replacement parts. I did not need a new toilet. I will admit that both workmen were very nice and thorough. I felt bad for not using them after they put so much time into the job, but considering the price of their options, I got over it quickly.

Description of Work: Furnace tune up and cleaning. They tried to upsell me and I don't appreciate that. They did a good job with the cleaning but just kept trying to sell me. After I told him that I don't need what he was selling, he just kept trying to get me to buy it and he just wasn't listening at all. It was something to clean the air, but I don't have AC and I only use my heat about 3 months out of the year and it wasn't something that was applicable to me. Nothing I said made him understand that and he just kept trying to sell!

Description of Work: The tech informed me that the capacitor on the fan that was controlling the airflow in the house was "running out of capacitance". For the $20 part he built 3 quotes with the cheapest one being around $500. I'm in sales and I understand every company need to make money and if it was reasonable I might have had them do the work but it was not. |The day after the tech's visit the capacitor on the outside unit failed. The 2nd day after the visit the water pump in the house failed do to debris from the cooling coils after the tech sprayed some cleaner on them. |I'm very lucky I have a back ground in electric system as well as being handy. I corrected the outdoor capacitor as well as installed a new pump. |The hole reason I had this check up because the AC unit was putting out a lot of water to a secondary reservoir and I wanted to know what the issue was. well I still do not and I did some fancy plumbing to by pass it but there is still something off about the unit and I don't know what it is.
