+ -1 moreWe met for an initial consult. She came prepared and wasted no time. We met for 1 hour. She asked a lot of questions and really listened to me. We met again a week later. For our second meeting she brought computer printouts and photos and examples for me to choose from. She offered items from all price ranges. I felt comfortable to say I didn't like something. She is a creative problem solver. She was able to use my existing pictures on my wall by taking them to her office, taking them apart and slightly altering the color of the picture and painting the frames! She also suggested a mural on my wall in the entry way and she and Lynette designed and painted it themselves! We met about 3 times. They were fair and honest about billing for their time. They biggest expense was the cost of supplies that I picked out (furniture, rug, drapery)! The actual cost of her services was reasonable and totally worth it. Michelle is a genius. I highly recommend her and plan on using her again!
Description of Work: Michelle and her assistant Lynette help design/decorate my living room. I found her through a friend who had his home decorated by her. His place looks amazing so I called her! I emailed a photo of the room ahead of time. Michelle and Lynette arrived prepared with paint chips, material swatches, and lots of ideas. Michelle really LISTENED to me and designed a beautiful room that really "feels" like me. I have a home built in 1932. I wanted to decorate in a style that would mesh with the period but still have a modern feel. She exceeded my expectations. She is so creative! She was able to incorporate my color and style preferences and came up with so many things I would have never thought of! She was flexible and creative and willing to work with whatever budget I gave her. Her price was reasonable; the materials I chose were expensive (rug/drapery). She was never pushy and never tried to add on work or direct me to costly upgrades. She made my house a "home"!
