Modern Yardz did an amazing job lying Belgard Cambridge Cobblestone pavers on our front patio. They have succeeded in achieving the Tuscan look I wanted to achieve. Furthermore, the project manager, Russell, was well organized, efficient, and provided timely communication about the work being done. I recently had the pleasure of working with Modern Yardz on a retaining wall project, and I can confidently say they are one of the most professional and reliable concrete companies out there. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough in his evaluation of the project. We picked Modern Yardz for renovating our backyard by removing our jacuzzi and putting in a high end Pergola. Modern Yardz gave the most detailed quote and lowest price so we went with them. While the project had two unexpected things happen, project leader Luke was able to surmount all obstacles. The team was professional and performed high quality work. I highly recommend them.

We had our backyard completely remodeled by Modern Yardz and we are very happy with the results! From start to finish, their communication was exceptional. Our project manager Frank kept us updated at every stage, always making sure we understood the process and were happy with the progress. His flexibility and patience adjusting the design a few times before project start was greatly appreciated! Frank and his crew made out landscape project so quick and painless. We just moved into a new place and wanted a more useable yard. Frank came and consulted with us, and we wound up going with his suggestions. He was also helpful in drawing up different plans/versions of the plans based on our budget. Totally pleased with Modern Yardz Inc. From initial contact and setup with Jake to daily contact with Isaac throughout the project. They were a pleasure to work with. David and Sergio are hard workers and highly skilled. David is a problem solver and made sure we were totally pleased with the final product. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and a collaborative team is key in having a great end result in any project. Thomas and Isacc were awesome to work with and we appreciated all the time they took to answer questions, navigate the project efficiently during design changes, and offer quick solutions to construction issues (though very little) that arose. We are in a new build neighborhood, and although there were many other landscape contractors offering their services, we chose Modern Yardz because they were interested in giving us a real design, not one that was copy and pasted from another contractor's work in the neighborhood. Thomas was great in working with us through our budget, design, material selection, and offering alternatives to our "must haves" until we were comfortable with our numbers. Isacc was our PM and kept us updated daily on progress, schedule, and making sure communication was being made with the crew that was out here working. Modern Yardz helped transform my front and back yard to a low maintenance beauty. From the start, Thomas put together some great designs that matched what I was looking for. Once the project started, the level of professionalism and speed with the it was unmatched. The team showed up when they said they would and kept everything clean. I was surprised by how quickly this job got done and it looks fantastic. I've been receiving endless compliments from neighbors and friends. Esteban, the lead, was excellent and great with communication. He went above and beyond to help me address concerns, communicate what was going on, and even came and watered my new plants throughout the project when I told him I didn't have a green thumb. Would highly recommend Modern Yardz to anyone in the San Diego area with landscaping needs!

We very much enjoyed working with Thomas and Esteban - the teams work exceeded all of our expectations. They were extremely professional, easy to work with, always kept us in the loop, and were very accommodating to our mid-project changes. We started with a general idea of the aesthetic we wanted, Thomas helped design and refine it, and the Modern Yardz team executed it to a tee. Modern Yardz did a great job on our landscaping! Frankâ s crew worked so hard and fast, and the results are great! We did all new front yard and back yard, from scratch. New driveway, boardform concrete planter boxes and fire pit, bbq island, big patio, pergola, custom decking around a hot tub, artificial turfâ ¦ Frank and Thomas made our dream yard come true.

Realistic time lines. Got the work done mid 2021 when there were supply chain issues and he kept us updated on those issues. We've done a lot of work with different contractors, he was the easiest to work with. Really did a great job!

Good response time, good pricing and everything happened very quick. Very happy with them.
