Mega Dry Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Excellent provider and would recommend heartily. Answered the phone on first call to schedule the job. Called me twice the day of the job to confirm the appointment and give me advance notice of departure to my house. Arrived within promised time-window. Performed work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Was very careful with furniture moved to accomodate the carpet cleaning. Overall, an honest, hardworking, father-son team that I would recommend heartily.

FANTASTIC, Arrived on time, Very Polite, Very Knowledgeable, Vacuumed entire area, treated several spotted areas, clean these first and then did major cleaning on entire area. Two man team, owner on site.

Gerardo and his son arrived promptly. I showed them the house, pointing out certain trouble areas where pets had had "accidents." The two men got to work quickly, vacuuming the house with a powerful vacuum machine and then going over everything with the carpet washer. They finished and were ready to leave within two hours. It was a very thorough and highly satisfactory job. Gerardo pointed out a few spots where stains remained (old and well imbedded in the carpet) and explained that after drying the carpet would look even better. It looked fantastic already after their work!

I was coming from out of town to complete cleaning in order to get house ready to sell, so it was very important that I find a reliable company and they arrive on time. Gerardo called in the morning to say that he would arrive at the early end of the 2 hour time slot he had given me. I told him that I was on my way there and met him, so he was able to start a little early. The light-colored carpet was dirty and had several stains that I thought might not come out, but he was able to remove all of the stains and the carpet looked just like new. He estimated 1 to 1 1/2 hours to clean and it took just a little more than 1 hour. I was worried about the carpet drying because there were other workers coming the next day, but the carpet was very dry by late afternoon when I closed up the house.

They were prompt and courteous. The carpet looks beautiful. It was badly stained in a few places, but the stains are gone. It only takes 2-3 hours to dry.

Gerardo and his son came in and vacuumed my rental unit, pre-treated the tougher spots then began their cleaning treatment. They worked well as a team and completed the work in <2 hrs. Their "bonnet cleaning" system delivered a noticeably cleaner and dryer carpet than other outfits that I've used in the past. However, the highest traffic areas still had a shadowy appearance and I needed to vacuum again after they left since there was still some hair and lint clumps that their system does not completely inhale.

I learned about this company from Angie's List. I have had a number of other carpet services, both small companies and large chain services. I am so happy I found Mega-Dry. I have had them for two visits. The first visit they cleaned two very soiled area rugs. My intent was to throw these rugs away, but decided to give it one last try. I could not believe how clean they are now. I was really amazed. I expected some of the stain to come back after the carpets dried, but that did not happen. Gerardo, the owner, and his son are always on time, very courteous, and wqrk quickly. This is the best carpet cleaning I can remember.

They were prompt and did an excellent job. They were reasonably priced as well. They were apologetic about couple of things that they could not do. They were also very friendly and kind. They moved things out of their way and they also moved them back once the job was done. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

Great experience! He looked around and gave us warning about what stains might not be able to come out. The carpets looked great after he was finished. I was very happy with the work!

They did an excellent job. Because the pet stains were so old they didn't come out completely but they looked 100% better. They did the whole job in 2 hours including vacuuming all the rooms. They even moved my king size bed. I would definitely use them again. They explained everything they were going to do.

We contacted Mega-dry at the last minute (before our lease was up at the end of the month) and they were able to come out and clean our carpets pronto.

Geraldo was wonderful as was the job he did. He showed up right on time, listened to my concerns about the job and then did something no other carpet cleaner has ever done, he took the time to fully evaluate the job! This resulted in him having to leave to get the right stuff for the job but he was back in just a few minutes. I'm very happy with the job he did and his professionalism. I will definately call again when I need carpets cleaned and will refer Mega Dry to anyone looking.

Great job. Have used Chem-dry in past, liked these results even better. Father and son team very personable and professional. Felt the price was reasonable, quality of work performed excellent. Will definitely use them again. Scheduled within a few days, called twice when slightly delayed. Overall very positive experience.

It went great. Gerardo answered all my questions on the phone prior to doing the work. He was able to do the job on short notice and got it done when he said he would. I was very happy with Mega Dry.

I absolutely loved the guy! They were prompt, personable, great at getting out spots, and great at getting pet odor out. They are a very dependable company to work with.

Don't know what chemicals/solutions used on master bedroom carpet but picks up dirt stains fast. Shoes not worn in house, so don't know why getting dirty faster than before cleaning.

I wanted to clean my carpets without using chem-dry. He came in and did the same thing that chem-dry does. He had an attitude when I asked him about using a hose. He said it I want to pay $185 then go call Stanley Steamer the next time. I was quoted $85 and when he came to my house he said that it was going to be more the next time. It is going to be $125.00.

Gerardo is great. Both jobs were done with care and detail. The apartment carpet was in pretty bad shape thanks to the previous tenants. After he was done, we couldn't believe the difference. When he came to the house we were not sure how the wool carpet would turn out, but he handled it like a pro. We had previously had the wool carpet done by a big name carpet company, and they did not come close to what Gerardo did.

I had asked the technician to call when he was 5 minutes away since I pay someone by the hour to open up the place. The technician called to say he was on his way but showed up 45 minutes later. (I had to pay my handyman $35.00 per hour for waiting). I called to complain and ask for $17.50 credit since I had to pay for the waiting. The person answering the phone agreed but to this day, I don't see a credit. Anyway, the tech arrived. There was going to be an extra charge of $10.00 per room for a pet deodorizer, which I didn't take. The next day, the three 8"x8" stains reappeared and the pet odor was still there. Gerardo came out the next day to take out the three stains. I also asked to have the pet odor eliminated and the cost was $90.00 for enzyme treatment. The next day, one of stains still showed slightly (it might have been a wine stain), however, the pet odor was gone.

Excellent service and lovely people to deal with. I got an appointment in the same week and came on time. They were finished in 2 hours and the carpets dried quickly and look great.

I called at just after 8am and Gerardo was at my house at 11 (exactly as scheduled) and spent 2.5 hours cleaning our carpets. A couple of the older and darker stains remained somewhat visible, but this was not surprising to me given the age of the stains and the carpet. We were also given a 15-day guarantee during which to call with any problems. Gerardo is a very professional and personable individual who completed the work with minimal intrusion on our household. I read the reports from the other Angie's List customers before hiring him, and have no hesitation in adding my "perfect" report to this list.

Gerardo was a pleasure to deal with. He felt he could permanently get the stains out, and if not, he guaranteed he'd come back again and do them at no extra charge. He uses a dry chemical process (not steam) and the house was dry within 3 hours. It's been 2 weeks and the stains haven't come back, we are hopeful they are permanently gone.
