MATTRESS DISCOUNTERS

We purchased a fairly expensive mattress from this store. Our experience with the store & the salesperson were excellent. Unfortunately I can't say the same for their delivery employees. They scratched my walls & hallway mirror. Our house had just been fully remodeled, we're not happy they were this careless!! These guys were not very careful at all! When removing the mattress, they also just shoved the mattress through an arched opening when it didn't fit. Luckily this was the softer mattress so more damage wasn't done. Our biggest problem was dealing with the delivery co. They have made it so difficult we decided it's not worth pursuing reimbursement. After initially receiving two calls from the employee who caused the damage, a supervisor called me. The employee had wanted to come & see the damage. He said his boss instructed him to do this & would hold him personally responsible for the repairs. I told him I wasn't comfortable with this & needed to speak with his boss. The end result after several calls...the supervisor wanted me to take a picture of the scratch. I expressed the difficulty because it's a mirror & would instead like her to come see it. She showed reluctance & wanted me to email the picture. The bottom line is, instead of taking responsibility for the damage an employee had caused, they make it very hard for the customer. This is done probably with hopes that it won't be pursued. Well that is the case with us.

WOW- So easy! Once we picked out the mattress the salesperson offered us a $100 discount because we were purchasing 2 mattresses. The mattresses were in stock & ready to be picked up when we wanted them. The sales guy even carried the mattresses to our car. A+++
