The floor molding in our house had been sitting with just primer for way too long. I found Matthew through one of Angie's Big Deals and am very happy with the work. Matthew came with one other person and they worked neatly and efficiently. They didn't leave a drop of paint anywhere on the flooring and the molding looks beautiful. I would definitely hire Matthew again.

Matt called on his way over, which I appreciated. He arrived spot on time with one other gentleman. I explained what I hoped they could finish in the four hours, and they got to work promptly. I was very pleased that not only would they paint, but they were happy to fill numerous holes with spackle (from things the previous owner had mounted on the walls - leaving me the holes when they moved out). They worked together in each room. If they had a question, they asked so there'd be no confusion. We were having the rooms painted the same colors as they were before, and Matt pointed out in the kitchen how the previous painter had left some jagged lines where the walls meet the ceilng in the kitchen. In some spots they got the green paint on the white ceiling and in other spots the green paint hadn't even reached the ceiling. Matt, with his very steady hand, fixed this as much as he could with his brush (I wasn't having them repaint the ceiling, so he made the paint line better at the wall/ceiling joint). They next moved to the living room and used silicone caulking where needed along the ceiling molding to fill gaps - another extra I hadn't expected. Finally they made it to the hallway and finished that with the same high quality, efficient work. I was very pleased they were able to paint all the areas I'd hope they'd be able to do in the time allotted. The work is very high quality, with no drips, missed spots or roller lines. These guys are pros. Matt is polite, friendly, energetic, fast-working, and a genuinely nice guy who gets on with the job. I was so pleased I expect to have him back after the holidays to paint all the interior doors and trim around the doors. I recommend him completely and with no hesitation.

Matthew was extremely good with communication. I gave him the size of the garage but he said he would be happy to come out and see it in person for a no obligation quote before me hiring him. He came out to my home and told me he could do it. He suggested some paint colors but unfortunately my HOA is VERY strict and I can only paint it one color so I told him the color. He scheduled to come out 2 weeks later. He called me and told me that if I wanted, he could buy the paint as he gets a discounted rate with the various stores. So he even bought the paint for me and brought me the receipt for which I reimbursed him for. He and his worker showed up on time and finished the work in 5 hours. They did an excellent job painting the garage door and even patched some areas that needed to be fixed along with repairing some minor stucco damage on the side of the garage. He and his worker were extremely tidy. I couldn't have asked for a better job and I would gladly recommend him for any job..big or small. I highly recommend him and his company.

I called Matt to schedule my appointment and he returned my call very quickly. I was able to schedule the appointment within one week (to fit my schedule). Matt ran a few minutes late on the day, but called me in advance to let me know. Matt was incredibly professional and his work was excellent. I had him paint a bedroom 16 ft x 10 ft (I provided the paint). He patched up the walls prior to painting and explained to me exactly what he was doing. Matt and his assistant worked very quickly and carefully and the job was finished within the 4 hours (yes I got my deal). There was absolutely no mess or clean up for me at the end of the job. I would highly recommend Matt and will use his services again.

I did all contacting with Matthew with email. He offered an acceptable date, and I accepted. Unfortunately, he never received my acceptance due to a malfunction with his phone service. When I called on the morning of the painting, he didn't calendar my date, and wasn't prepared to do the job. HOWEVER, he put everything on hold so he could complete my job the very next day, in time for Thanksgiving! Since he was offering me a deal, and I wanted the job done, I pre-taped most of the baseboards, door molding, stair rail brackets and switch/outlet plates (they were caulked in place, not removable. He never asked me to do it, but since his crew finished a job in the morning and then did my job (at the last minute), he commented that I did a professional job and it helped to get my hallway finished in the given hours allotted, rather than just the foyer that we agreed on. The crew cleaned better than what they started with! My carpets were filthy, going to be cleaned & steam cleaned on the following weekend. They took their vacuum, and picked up EVERYTHING!!! Their protection was excellent; no spots, drips on tile or carpet. They took down all the trim tape. The job was absolutely excellent, and I will be booking them over the summer for other major interior painting. They were incredible!!!

About one year ago, Matthew was called on to repair a botched DIY paint job of our den, which included severe hat banding. He was not only fast in repairing the room but also very reasonably priced, professional, and obviously very knowledgeable of his craft. He also provided tips on how to avoid the problem in the future, which I very much appreciated. I was smart to keep his card :-) When it was time to move out of our current rental we needed someone to repaint a bright pink accent wall in our daughter's room. He did such a fantastic job the first time we contacted him once again and he did not disappoint. Fast, clean, perfect work! In 3 hrs he put on two coats of white to cover up the pink AND repainted the remaining three walls AND baseboards their original color. As most people know, there rare 523 shades of white (well, maybe not that many) and Matthew matched the original wall color perfectly. He stayed an extra 20 mins just to make certain the once-pink wall did not need an extra coat of white (it did not). And once again, I received some very useful painting tips! Matthew is the best at what he does...meticulous, fairly priced, professional, and fast! Highly recommended!

Matthew had done some work for a friend of mine and I had him come out and bid on the interior painting of a very large 10,000 square foot home. Matthew came out, gave me a thoughtful bid and I hired him to do the job. He helped me select paint color, gave us great advice and did an excellent job. He's very professional, prompt, neat, careful and very nice. Although he was in the house for a couple of weeks, we hardly knew he was here. He did a great job cleaning up every day, and re-hung all of our artwork and flat screen televisions. I have had a lot of people who have done work in our home over the past 12 years, and I can say without reservation that Matthew does excellent work. He's a perfectionist and very careful in all areas of his work.
