They did a good job. Their price was reasonable. They did a very professional job. They were right on time.

They were referred by a friend. They reported on time. The guy who came worked thoroughly. When I looked at the internet, it was a work that costs about $600 but it only cost me $300. So, I thought it was reasonable. They were timely. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very personable. My friend who referred them to me also felt very comfortable with them and was satisfied with their service.

He's fantastic. They were just great. We've used them in the past. They don't speak above your head. They're efficient and they're clean. They're professional. They explain things as they're going along. They do the quickest. They don't waste time. They give you all the options.

Very well - no leaks detected that day - not much else to say. Was over a year ago. Was a coupon.

A pipe was leaking in my garage. It was a pipe that vents moisture from a downstairs bathroom up through the roof and the path takes it above the ceiling drywall in the garage. It was a slow drip that had been going on since the home was built in 2003. It finally dripped enough that it made the drywall soft to the touch in about a 2and quot; circumference. As I later learned, it was a defect caused by the builder when someone jammed the ABS pipe in to make it fit, causing it to bow slightly and crack. Before I called Master Plumbing and Leak Detection, went through all the steps to try and reproduce the leak. Cut open a larger hole in the drywall to see if I could see the leaking pipe. BTW, to my surprise, the ceiling is double drywalled! Guess this is code in CA for garage ceilings or at least for this construction, so that's why it took over 10 years for a slow drip to eat through the drywall. I tried only using certain bathroom faucets one day, using the washing machine another day, using the dishwasher another, etc. Nothing I could do would make any pipe I could see drip. Before I called Master Plumbing and Leak Detection, I called a large well known plumbing company in San Diego county. They said if they couldn't find the leak, they would need to call a leak detection company. So I figured, why not start with a leak detection company? I saw Master Plumbing and Leak Detection listed on Angie's List. Called them and they gave me an appointment for a couple days out. Not a problem because this issue isn't a major plumbing leak. If it had been, service would have been performed a lot sooner. Oscar Perez was the tech who came out. Upon arrival he introduced himself and explained the process he was going to use to find the leak. He gave me a quote before starting any work. Without knowing exactly what it was going to take to find the leak, Oscar quoted me for a job that would be pretty much routine and explained if it got more complicated, the price could increase. Oscar cut a larger hole in the ceiling exposing a lot more area. After removing some insulation and getting a handle on the different pipes, he went inside the house and sort of got a feel for where the different pipes were leading. Upon a more detailed inspection he found hair line cracks in one of the pipes, as described in the first paragraph. Oscar cut out and replaced a leaking 2and quot; section of the ABS venting pipe with new ABS. After securing the new section, Oscar walked around the house with his thermal camera and ruled out any moisture within the ceiling below the master bathroom or any other areas. Oscar then performed a static water pressure test of the household's systems. Oscar was very efficient. He made every effort to keep dust etc to a minimum and cleaned everything up. Would definitely use Master Plumbing and Leak Detection again. And oh yes, the final price for the repair. It actually turned out to be around $10 cheaper than Oscar first quoted! How many plumbing companies do that?

Informed contact at Master Plumbing and Leak Detection on March 13 about 3 PM that there was a slab leak in apartment unit and requested that service be provided today to find the leak and make repairs. This location is a four unit apartment building and when the water is shut off, all four units have no water. I was informed that service could not be provided until 10 AM on March 14th. I then informed the contact that I would search for other providers to get the work done on March 13. I could not find a service provider to service on March 13, contacting eight other providers. I then called back to Master Plumbing and requested that the service be performed by them. The Master Plumbing technician (Nick) arrived at 11 AM on March 14 and proceeded to find the slab leak. The leak was in the common wall between the downstairs bathroom and the kitchen. Nick opened up the wall on the back of the vanity and found the leaking pipe. He informed me that there were two options to make repairs. Option 1 was to remove the vanity and jackhammer the slab and repair the pipe at a cost of $1000. Option 2 was to bypass the leaking pipe at a cost\ of $1,200. I requested option 2. Then he informed me that he could not make any repairs today. I contracted with Master Plumbing to find the leak and make the necessary repairs once the leak was found. I informed Nick that it is a four unit apartment building and when the water is shut off, all four units have no water. I requested that he get authorization to make the repairs today March 14. He called his supervisor and then informed me that the earliest time that repairs could be made was either Monday or Tuesday. I then requested that the least he could do was to cap the leaking pipe so that the water could be turned back on. Nick refused to do so and left. The capping of the pipe would probably take no more than 20 minutes at the most. This is terrible service. I will not do business with this company in the future. I also called the contact at Master Plumbing and tried to find out why the repairs were not made. The contact made many excuses and apologized. There is no excuse for Master Plumbing because I informed the contact that this was a slab leak on March 13. Master Plumbing should have provided enough technicians at the job site to find and fix the leak on the same day. I had another company do the repairs that day.

Well. Dificult project due to location of pipes behind fireplace. sent a small plumber with special tools. Everything went well and no problems.

I had a puddle of water in my yard with no rain to create it and so I called these guys to detect the leak. After shoveling a little bit of dirt, they found that the leak was right there (I had feared it would be under the slab as it was next to the house). He didn't charge me since it was such an easy find. They were too busy to repair the leak, but he did refer me to another plumber that did (Zack Smith Plumbing).

They always follow up on whatever we're supposed to do. They were really slow but they did a good job.

He brought a catalog of kitchen and bathroom fixtures. I special ordered three toilets from this company. It was an excellent experience. The plumber was very professional and answered my many questions. The entire interaction comprised of three visits. The first visit was for the estimate. The second visit was when he came to remove 2 of the old ones and replace them with 2 of the new ones. The last visit was on December 30th, during which the last toilet was removed and replaced with a new toilet, (which took a little longer to receive because it was a special order of a popular toilet.)

After moving to our newly purchased house, we heard a distinct and disturbing dripping sound inside a wall whenever someone was in the shower. Master Plumbing and Leak Detection sent someone out. He was right on time, very professional and explained, in detail, what the noise was in ~10 minutes. It was not a water leak. It was expansion of the pipe in the wall as hot water moved through the cool pipe to the shower. What a relief! No holes in the walls required, no video, no repair. This guy knew what he was talking about! I doubt that a traditional plumber would have had the answer so quickly and easily. While here, the professional looked at the water heater and all other visible components of the plumbing system, e.g., under sinks for leaks. No problems. I've since referred a family member to this company and he was equally satisfied with them. He had a difficult to find leak in a supply pipe and these guys found it.

I have used Master Plumbing for years for work related items and they are the best. They are not out to cheat you.

Overall very good. They canceled two afternoon appointments in a row, hence the C for punctuality, but were able to get me a first thing in the morning appointment on a Sunday. The plumber showed up early (3rd time is the charm) and rapidly completely the job and was very neat about the work. I would definitely use them again but only if I could get an appointment for first thing in the morning.

When Ross saw the existing regulator he said that it is not a $400 regulator and that it was $550 instead! I informed him that we sent pictures of this thing to Mike w details on size of pipes, etc. Needless to say I did not let him do it. Cannot help but feel that it was a complete waste of both our times. There was a 2 hr window given prior to his arrival. He arrived 5 min after the 2 hrs expired.

The experience was great. Mike found the leak in a copper line that was behind the wall quickly fixed it. He was friendly and he did not try to up sell me on other projects. Also, he mentioned that they will help do it yourselfers at no charge over the phone or through videos they have. I would recommend.

The plumber arrived almost right on the expected arrival time and the whole effort took about 2 hours. I did not have an estimate up front. I've used Master Plumbing in the past and new that the price would be a little more but the job would be right and done efficiently. I had purchased the new garbage disposal from Home Depot and the plumber quickly removed the 12-year old Badger from my sink. I chose to add on the new plumbing under the sink because I wanted the garbage disposer relocated. The plumber had zero issue with my request, thought it made more sense than the original plumbing and he set off to work. After he finished the kitchen, he tackled the bathroom toilet and had everythign patched up within 30 minutes. He cleaned up around both areas and I have a much better kitchen and bath.

We called about a musty odor in a bedroom thinking it might be a slab leak. But the woman who answered my call asked a series of questions that she thought ruled out a slab leak. Although leak detection costs $200, she offered to send someone out for free just to look at the situation. Carlos was punctual, quite knowledgeable, and pointed out some non-plumbing problems that were probably causing the problem. Turns out, he was correct. No charge. But we will use them for all future plumbing issues. They are honest and comptent. Nice combo!

The Master Plumbing plumber arrived on time, inspected the leak and promptly informed me I did not have a plumbing problem, and instead had irrigation issue. Moreover, he said that his company could handle the problem, but that it would probably be more cost effective if I called a landscaping company instead. The point is that this plumber could have told me anything and I would not have known the difference. In short, this plumber was HONEST! Moreover, he asked since he was there if I had any other plumbing issues he could address. I told him one of my toilets seemed to be leaking immediately he saw what the problem was. I had previously purchased a couple of different floats that did not seem to fit properly. Instead, this plumber went out to his truck and retrieved a new float, which he promptly installed. Now, the best part. When I asked him what I owed him, he said and quot;nothingand quot;, that he really had not done any real plumbing work. This was remarkable! My father was a blue collar carpenter for 50 years and I thought one of the last honest tradesmen. I can happily report that honesty is alive and well at Master Plumbing and Leak Detection. I whole heartedly recommend this company and will use them again for my plumbing needs!

The plumber, Tony, is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He responded to our request for leak detection services and found and repaired the leak quickly and efficiently. We have also used master plumbing to fix 2 toilets, and a hose spout in the backyard. I would recommend Master Plumbing to everyone with plumbing needs. I wish all plumbers and contractors could be as professional and as knowledgeable as Master Plumbing.

Overall, it was done exceptionally. We were so happy with the outcome. Mike is the gentleman that initially came out and did the inspection and estimate. I felt that he was totally open and honest about the situation and did not speak to me in a condescending manner because I was female. He ran a couple of ideas by me as I was the only one at home at the time and was very kind in explaining what would need to be done. After the estimate and camera inspection they started work 2 days later to coincide with my days off. It went very smoothly and quickly. Of course we had to plan for any unexpected problems or delays but none happened. I was amazed at how efficient this company was at digging up the front yard, jackhammering up the garage floor, pulling out and replacing new pipe. They were neat and tidy, put things back the way they were supposed to be and moved on to their next task. Mike kept in touch with me to let me know how things were going, to ask me if I had any questions about anything and to generally calm my nerves. He answered my questions without getting aggravated, was attentive at the job site and seemed very educated and knowledgeable in what he was doing. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing any type of plumbing work done.

Talk about a wonderful experience. Robert did an amazing job, was informative and made the entire experience entirely easy for us.
