We were interested in a home in South Park we found online. We called McT Group to see it since they had listed it. We were instantly sent to Chaz Chase, their buyers' agent to see the house and told him we wanted to submit an offer for 850. He would not write our offer, claiming it was not competitive enough. He told us this multiple times so we figured it must be selling for way over 850. He then texted us a few weeks later telling us the other buyers were most likely going to walk due to the fact that there was an easement/city water line going under the property and could not build what they wanted there. We were given the impression that we had no competition so said we wanted to submit an offer for 825. We were completely ignored after that (aside from a text saying it was sold days later) and our offer was never submitted and turns out it was sold for 825. We found out they were investors and we may have had an edge if we hadn't been pushed of, had our 850 offer submitted with a picture of our family and that we had plans to lovingly restore the home and make it our "forever home". We were never advised to do this and Chaz barely communicated with us. We are completely disappointed and upset that this was our experience and believe that violations took place due to the seller never being made aware of the fact we wanted to offer 850. But Chaz would not do it, which makes us believe something shady and/or illegal was going on. Do not use this group or you may risk losing the house you've looked 5 years for.
