Description of Work: Regular maintenance every two weeks and larger projects on request at our primary residence

Description of Work: Mariano was our gardener for over one year. He was always on time, pleasant and did his work well. We received a bill from him on May 1 for the entire month, which was surprising because we usually received it in the middle of the month. When it was time for him to return, he did not come back. Calls to his phone were never returned.

Description of Work: First an initial cleanup service for the entire yard at $350, pull weeds, clean ground cover trim trees. Afterwards maintenance foe the yard every other week at $40/week.

Description of Work: They mow, edge and trim the bushes in my yard every other week.

Description of Work: I have been trying to find someone to do deep rototilling, at least 8 to 10'' deep, not the 3 or 4'' most landscape companies do. Angie's List suggested Mariano. I called him, and he came to give me an estimate. He said he could do the rototilling I wanted to my front yard for $300. He looked over the back yard and said he would have to come back and measure the portions I want rototilled. As far as I know he never came back. Although $300 seems high to me for my small front yard (less than 22 x 23 feet, less than 500 square feet), I decided to accept his bid and have him just do the front yard for now, so that I can start landscaping it, putting off the back yard temporarily. I called and left messages on both his cell phone and office phone several times over the past week and a half, but he hasn't returned my calls.

Description of Work: Weekly yard maintenance. My yard was overgrown and needed attention. They came out and in the first visit they mowed the lawn, cleaned the sidewalks, and pruned and cleaned up a lot of the yard.

Description of Work: My husband and I are part of the ''more mature adult'' group. For years I have suggested that we have a full-service gardener, but my spouse has always wanted to do the work himself. It has finally become to much for him - we have a very large parcel - and our Mariano was recommended to us by someone that works for us in another capacity. He came and gave us an estimate to do the following: Trim the bushes; trim the trees; pull weeds; fertilize the lawn; redo our sprinkling system (which was spotty, at best.)He would do all the cleanup and relandscaping, etc. The cost, initially, was $200. Then he would come every other week, for $50 each time he was here, and keep up on everything he would do the first time. Well, he, and his crew of 3 - worked their fannies off, in a very short period of time. The grounds are fantastic; and subsequent visits have been great. We told him we did not like our lime tree - small limes, many thorns. He removed it and placed a new tree in spot.
