Awesome crew! They show up exactly when the promise, do great work and clean up when they leave! I am so happy! I was considering new cement but this looks awesome and less than 1/2 the price. The finished on time...

We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Chris and his assistant did excellent work using the best materials ( eg. copper and iron). They all kept me informed as they went along. I give it a grade of A+.

Amazing job from the first point of contact on the phone, to the follow up calls after the job was done. The estimator listened to exactly what we wanted and DELIVERED! The staff was friendly, professional and honest! Would absolutely recommend for any back yard or front yard cement work that needs to be brightened up - it created an rich atmosphere with class and sophistication that we didn't have before! LOVE IT!

The previous owner of my condo had put epoxy flooring in my basement, which looked great when I purchased the home. But as the weeks went on, it began to crack and bubble. Within 2yrs, it was coming off in sheets and looked terrible. When I initially contacted Life Deck my intention was to simply repair it with another epoxy coating done correctly. But when I got the estimate, it was explained to me that because of the mineral deposits that commonly come up with moisture in San Diego area basements, that in all likelihood any attempt to replace it would also eventually fail. He suggested that I might be interested in simply sanding away the failing epoxy and staining the concrete underneath, which would allow it to breath without any effect on the stain. I also had work done on my balcony, which had outdoor carpeting on it which retained moisture and was causing damage underneath. That was to be taken out and replaced with a coating. We communicated via email to set a work date, and since I commute elsewhere during the week, I left a key in a drop box. I'm very pleased with the work in every regard. The basement is a vast improvement, and the patio looks great. Communication was easy and constant throughout the job, and the estimate matched the final bill.

The entire process took about a week which included - preparation of the areas to be resurfaced, texture coat, color coat, sealing coat. Also we had the exiting concrete brick planter areas painted with another colored coating product to coordinate with our existing patio and new resurfaced areas. I would estimate that the area resurfaced was about 2000 square feet and about 200 linear feet of 3-4 high brick was recoated. The concrete for some of the areas was over 30 years old and other parts had been lifted and discolored. The lifted areas were ground down or floated as needed before the process began. You can get a pretty good idea of the various products and applications of the Company by looking at their website. We had been referred to them by another customer of theirs several years ago. The salesperson Robert and the working crew headed by Gary were all polite, one day and considerate of our home and plants.

Scott Tischler, from Life Deck, came out and set everything up for us. He was great. Has always answered any emails quickly and the estimate he quoted was the exact price. Brad Harris and Stephan Myers were the ones who laid down the different layers and did the flagstone design. Brad had the patience of a saint with me as I just couldn't decide on the color combinations. With doing such a large area I didn't want to pick the wrong colors. His suggestions were awesome and the blended colors he did for the flagstone look came out perfect. Much better, I think, than what I had started leaning towards with having each section done a different shade. It came out just perfect. Just perfect. This was a huge expense for us that we had been putting off for years. Our deck had both termite and water rot damage and no one has even been allowed up for there for years. Which was a real shame, since we have a wonderful view and the deck was a big selling point for us in buying the house 30 years ago. Once again, our deck is back to our favorite part of the house. We have come up here each night to watch the sun set. We even came up and sat on the new plywood when the process was first started. This was worth every penny. Absolutely. It is a beautiful product. Pictures don't do it justice. Scott and his team did an amazing job. They were always here when they said they would be, Brad and Stephan were two of the nicest guys and cleanup each day and when the job was done was perfect. I see that I have used the word "perfect" a few times in this review. Well.......it is the word that best describes our new deck floor. And our experience with Life Deck. We will start saving up to do our patio and pool area and we look forward to working with this company again. Awesome job guys!

Kevin Ross and his team were exceptional. The garage floor looks amazing as does our patio--looks like new. Every detail was taken care of and they started and finishned on time.

I would not use them for another quote.

Overall the job went well. My only hesitation was with the bid fluctuating between visits. Get a written bid from the start.

It pays to bid out this service on a per square foot basis, as you will get a neighborhood markup if you live in a nice community. Life Deck was the highest bidder out of five received. They wanted to do the dog and pony show, which wasn't important to me.

I've been using them for 7 years. He has to fix a mistake he made in his last job. There is water dripping from the drain and it wasn't like that before they did the work. He does take a little while to get back to me.

They were very helpful even though we didn't go with them they gave us a lot of useful info.

The work was done efficiently and completed on time. The workers were friendly, polite, and considerate.

The work took three days with cleaning the surface, prepping the surface, carving the pattern, coloring the pattern, and then sealing the surface. What a difference! We are very pleased with the results - the entire crew did a great job!

After writing in a previous review that I was not satisfied, was contacted by Life Deck. We discussed the process to correct the problems and agreed to a price. To make sure we agreed on a solution Life Deck did a test patch. The work was completed and I am completely satisfied. Andrew and his assistant did excellent work. I respect Gil at Life Deck for reaching out to correct the problem and will use them again.

I thought they were really good. I like their product. They came out and gave me an estimate. They were right on time with their estimate. When they told me they were going to give it to me, they came out when they were supposed to. They were very neat and clean. I had a question about one of the decks later on after it had dried to make sure that it was looking like it was supposed to look because it didn't of course look as good as the one that they had redone completely. They came out and looked at it and explained to me why it looked that way and it was a good answer. I thought they were very good. I like their sales people.

Although their price did not work the best but they really made one herculean effort, to try to make things right. So I'm happy with their effort.

We didn't have any problems. They did a good job and everything was fine. I think they were fairly priced but no one wants to spend that much money.

The finish was very slick and applied unevenly. They attempted to increase the friction, but it did not work. One of the workers commented that they were not applying the sealer correctly.The project was not finished to our satisfaction. Now the stain is chipping away in several locations
