Larry A Hudson Plumbing

It went extremely well. It was the hottest day of the summer and Larry and Dana worked very, very hard. In order to replumb the washing machine washer box they had to cut a large piece of the drywall out to expose the pipes inside the wall. Then we could all see the strange plumbing work done when the condo was built. It was amazing to watch Larry and Dana recut new pipe and make it all fit within such a tight space. I was so impressed with their work I hired them on the spot to come back and install new drywall (they did a fabulous job). The fireplace was another challenging project. Dana removed the heavily corroded gas pipe within the fireplace to install a new one, and the gas line in the wall shifted (original builder failed to secure it within the wall), preventing Dana from attaching the new pipe. After trying for an hour a small piece of drywall was removed so he could grab onto the pipe inside the wall and successfully connect the two pieces together (drywall was repaired).

After Jason fixed the bathtub faucet, I found that it was still leaking. I called them and the owner, Larry, came out and fixed it. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. They were all extremely pleasant but they were a bit overpriced so I may look around before deciding to use them again.

Job one: I have used the reliable services of Larry Hudson for many years. He is a good, hard working man on whom you can depend on for excellent work and extremely fair prices. I don't even bother to shop around anymore. Job Two: They received high marks on Angie's List. He is very honest, helpful, and professional. He has a good sense towards community service. I was so pleased with his services. Unfortunately, I do not have the price.

They failed to clean our drain. We were not satisfied with them at all. They told us that they would have to tear out the bathroom after their failed attempt. I think it was an attempt to get more business. They have an unprofessional and un-knowledgeable staff.

The toilet was constantly needing to be plunged, even after I augured it myself. Larry and Dana educated me about the problem and said that basically there wasn't enough water pressure to push the contents down. They recommended a new toilet to replace my 20 year old model, but until then, replaced the new flapper I had put on with one that works better, allowing more water in. They said that this flapper along with the auguring would give me a working toilet. They were extremely pleasant and friendly and very professional. I'd use them again without any hesitation!

I really like how they worked on my pipe system. They did a very good job. They were always letting me know what they were doing and how they were going to fix it, so I was very informed on what they did. They were very professional and they did high quality work.

Larry Hudson Plumbing was quite good. They were courteous, skilled, and efficient, but very costly. I would use them again, but only for a smaller job, as a larger one would be too costly.

After he completed the job the next day the refrigerator was leaking. I called the manufacturer and told them they sold me a defective refrigerator. They came out to look at it and told me the person who set up the ice maker did it wrong.

Returned call promptly. Arrived right on time. Did a quick, tidy and efficient job. Pleasant, affable fellow.

They did a very terrible job. The guy just came to my house and he pointed a little flashlight down the drain, and he said it needs to be replaced. I wonder how he would know that by just pointing a flashlight. He was very a negative guy. So I told him, you know that can't be possible because I replaced this about a year ago. He told me no, you have to replace it and that will cost you $242. I told him that I will not do that, and I will call a another plumber to get a second opinion. He told me if you do that and you call us again, we will charge the $45 that we charge just for a diagnoses because we didn't charge you to begin with. I had a coupon for the diagnoses. So I called another plumber, and he fixed the problem for only $60. They didn't need to replace any parts. So I really think this company is just trying to charge a lot of money for services that you don't need.

I had called other companies and Larry was the only plumber to respond at 1 AM. He was knowledgeable about the problem and had the parts he needed to fix it. Considering the time, I think the price was fair.

The two guys that came to my house were efficient, and seemed to know what they were doing. There was no fooling around. What I liked the most about them was their cleanliness, and the fact that they did a good job.

Larry is real good. He did an excellent job installing the water heater. He showed up on time and he did a professional job. I have nothing but good things to say about him. My water heater is holding up fine and I am very pleased. It was kind of funny because an elderly man had come in and climbed under the house to take pictures. Then, when the younger man came out he started yelling at the older man. He was not supposed to be doing that because of health reasons. I just thought that was kind of funny. They were real good though.

I thought the plumber did a good job. He took his time finding the problem with the leak and made sure it was fixed properly. When I had a problem with the toilet running, he replaced the guts of the tank, but forgot to put the tank back in place properly. I had to call him back out but he fixed it okay.

He was on time, clean, left our kitchen very clean and was professional. I have recommended Hudson to another friend and they were very pleased with his work.

Very well. No problems installing the toilet or the hose bib. Changed out soldered hose faucet for screw in, so I could replace myself if needed in the future. Appreciated that.

Toilet was clogged repeatedly in last few months. I had used a plunger to unclog the line and flush was still sluggish. Mr. Hudson arrived next afternoon and assessed situation. At first he sent an assistant to get an auger to clear the line but instead realized it was not necessary. Taught me a simple lesson for use in Kohler toilets for FREE. As I was an Angie list customer there was no service charge. He obviously could have given me a song and dance and I would have paid and thought nothing of it. It has been some time since I have had someone as honest as Larry Hudson Plumbing. He is obviously intent on building his business on honest reputation. He was easy to schedule, called ahead to confirm and was right on time. He has my business for future work. You should consider him as well.

Arrived on time, job completed quickly and satisfactorily.

The water heater had been so badly installed, less that a year ago, a friend told me it would probably cause flooding. Wrong metals were already corroding.

I called Hudson Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon and spoke to Jason. He was able to schedule me in for Monday morning at 9 am. Jason showed up right on time and went straight to work. He explained to me what was broke, gave me a estimate and fixed the faucet. Time was about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

He's very good, but he brought an employee whose attitude was not as professional as I would've liked, but everything else was good. They gave me a 15% Angie's List discount.

Called and left a message. Larry called back and said he could come out to give a free estimate the next day. He arrived at exactly the time he quoted he could be there. He was very personable and knowledgeable about water heaters. I asked him to schedule the work to be done immediately. Larry and Dana arrived on the scheduled day right on time and completed the work efficiently and thoroughly. It also didn't hurt that they loved our two big dogs.

Requested an estimate for drain cleaning because of odor in kitchen sink. Mr. Hudson & associate arrived within the stated time frame. Informed us that we didn't need the drains cleaned and spent 15 minutes detailing on how we could get rid of the odor ourselves. There was no charge for this educational visit! He was friendly and helpful. If and when I ever have a plumbing problem, I would hire this company!!!!

Came out on time. Did the work quickly and well. Took care of everything as expected. Very satisfied.

These guys were really, really good and very experienced. They arrived within their two-hour time window, understood quickly what needed to be done, gave a quote, then went right to it. Half an hour later they were done, they were paid, and they went on their way. Their two-hour window for meeting them and their free quotes were much appreciated. Also appreciated: There was no confusion, no expressions of frustration, no work site that needed to be cleaned up afterward, no need to return with parts, no up-selling, no hidden charges. Although the job sounds straightforward, I've seen frozen faucets, for example, drive plumbers nuts. I'd use these guys again.
