They do what they say they are going to do. They come when they tell me they are going to come. I would recommend them to anyone.

He had to open up the wall and replace the piping of the hose bib. My experience with him was great. He was very professional. It was an emergency and he did it very quickly.

We noticed a slow leak from our water meter (which quadrupled our latest water bill!!) and was told by the City that it was on our side so we needed to have it repaired. Apparently, it was not an easy job to replace the valve, but now that it's fixed, we'll save a lot of money on the water bill. I called the plumber the afternoon I heard about the diagnosis from the city and he came out the next day. He was prompt, friendly and the problem is fixed.

He is very professional, knowledgeable, and only uses high quality parts. His helper, Dan, was very friendly, and they worked quickly. Everything worked perfectly the first time. He stuck to his quote, even though unexpected costs came up.

The experience was good. He didn't charge me extra for the research it took to familiarize himself with the problem. I would hire him again in the future if I needed to.

I called his office and he returned the call promptly. He came out the same day to provide an estimate and we followed-up with him the next day. He then returned promptly and fixed the main problems, but another problem with the men's urinal was revealed. Larry initially quoted a replacement cost for the parts which was several hundreds of dollars, but he would give a good discount because of being an Angie's member. Turned out that we had a spare urinal that he was able to take the parts from that and fix the problem. Larry returns calls promptly - even one time at night when his answering service said that he had left for the day, he called back about an hour later. And he managed to fit us into his schedule, which we appreciated. I would use him again, and would recommend him to others.

Jason came out to inspect why the yard was muddy while I was at work. I had thought it was a leaking pipe in the front yard but he was very proactive to go under the house and look around to diagnose the real issue. When Jason and Larry came to fix it, they were very careful to test all the pipes under the house and make sure where the leak was coming from. I had had a similar problem before which was looked at by 2 plumbers and supposedly fixed, but it turned out that the leaking was much more extensive and it had been improperly fixed by the other plumber. At first they thought we might have to rip out the whole bathroom floor, but they figured out a way to repair the leaking pipes through small hole in the wall. I was so happy that they could fix the problem at last, and now the yard is dry! I also thought the prices were very fair compared to estimates I had gotten to (not) fix the problem before.

They did an excellent job and it seemed like a fair price. They responded quickly. They cleaned up after the work was done. We would use this company again.

He was wonderful to work with, he was very professional. He was very friendly and just a gentleman. I would recommend him highly to others and I would use him again. He was very responsive, he was even 2 hours early, he asked if he could be.

I have used them several times. They have been very good and they come when you call them. They show up when they say they are going to and take care of the problem quickly.

He did not fix the shower that I needed fix. He was not good with the follow up, and he kept trying to up sell me things I did not need. I felt that price was a little much. It was not Larry it was his assistant I did not care for. The price was fine, but mystery issues kept popping up. I feel that Larry is a lovely person, but perhaps his assistant is not doing the job.

I called on the 4th of July, and they said they would actually come out. They came very quickly and were very nice. They flipped a switch on my hot water heater and it went on. Then they showed me how to do that so I wouldn't have to call them out in the future. Then they said, "Happy 4th of July," and told me it was free of charge! I couldn't believe it and couldn't thank them enough.

I used Hudson twice now. The first time they couldn't do much, but they gave me a lot of good advice and the second time I had a major water leak which Jason fixed in no time. They are a bit expensive, but they deliver quality work. It is good to come across someone who knows what he is doing.

After reading many reviews on Angie's List I decided to call Larry Hudson Plumbing. I spoke with Larry Hudson personally, and felt that he was an exceptionally honest man with the kind of work integrity I was looking for. Larry and Jason responded very quickly to my request for consultation on the best water heater for our house. They advised me that a tankless would be the best option for us, and I gave them the go a head. Jason installed the water heater a few days later, he decided the best placement would be on the outside of the house to save venting costs. Unfortunately the location he chose was at the far end of the house (It was originally centered on the house) and we knew immediately this was a problem. We use to have hot water almost instantly and now we wait a very long time for the hot water to reach our main areas of need. We had just assumed as a professional he had thought through placement, or would have informed us if he knew this would cause a long delay. I called Larry about an hour after they had finished their work, and told him we had a definite problem. He assured me that they would call Friday morning to set a time to discuss the problem for later that day, by late afternoon after not hearing from him, I phoned him and he apologized and said today wasn't going to work, Jason was out of town. He said Monday would be better. Monday came and went. I am so tired of companies that require you to pay them immediately upon completion but ignore any problems and just create additional headaches for you when you need to call them over and over to get resolution. Customer service and satisfaction should be priority in running an honest business, not just take the money and run attitude.

They are a little more expensive but I like the fact they get everything done correctly. They workers show up on time when they say they will. They are very courteous and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them for future work.

First, when Jason answered my phone call and found I learned of Hudson via Angie's List his tone became almost arrogant. When Jason came to provide the estimate, upon entering the house he commented (negatively) on Christmas decorations that had not yet been put away (this was in February). I didn't care to hear his opinion on our storage habits, I just wanted to get an estimate on our plumbing problem. I showed him where the leak had been detected (in one of two underground hot water supply pipes). He asked if I had received an estimate on re-piping the whole house. When I said no, he seemed surprised that I wasn't offered that option. He said that the next line might last 15 years or it might go out in the near future and recommended re-piping the entire water supply. He provided me with an estimate via email that afternoon of $6439. I had received an estimate of $1700 to re-route just the leaking pipe from another plumbing company. I went with that.

They were on time, efficient, and polite. I would use them again.

He was quick, clean and repaired the leak.

He had to come out 3 different times to solve the drainage problem and he only charged me for one visit. It came down to me having to replace the toilet. He did a good job and I have had no problems since.

I thought the charge was high and took a lot of time. The work was average and the sink in the washroom is not 100%. I would shop around before using him in the future.

They were very professional and on-time for all appointments. They always offered options when a choice presented itself. Time from start to finish was less than three weeks for both rooms. I was very pleased with the work. Unfortunately, I believe this was their last remodeling job because of changes in the structure of the company. I will still call them for all my plumbing needs.

The amazing experience was that the garbage disposal was defective and when I used it, there was significant leakage under the sink. I called Mr Hudson. He rearranged his schedule to be able to come out the very next morning before 8 AM on a Saturday and spent considerable time fixing the fittings, etc. to accommodate the defective disposal, all at no extra charge. This was an experience I had not had for many, many years. I hope to now employ Mr. Hudson as our "family plumber." I hope to use him and his company for as long as they are in business.

He's very personable and helpful in describing to me why my drain was clogged.

We have an old house with old plumbing. Hudson Plumbing came out, inspected it and told us that it's just old pipes, and just have them cleaned out whenever they get blocked up (about every 6 months). That the cost of unplugging them routinely will not cost as much as a HUGE job (over $10,000) in the next 10 years! As the house is old, we may remodel down the line, and plumbing will be changed then anyway. He saved us a bundle, since another company came out, wanted to tear up our whole yard and charge $10,000. And Hudson didn't charge us anything for the advice! The guy actually crawled under our house to confirm that a shower was NOT leaking, as the other company tried to tell us.
