Description of Work: Used John back in 2006 to install sets of French Doors --did a great job at a really great price (he came highly recommended by Dixieline where we bought the doors). We had him estimate replacing a backyard pergola in 2012 --did not go with him only because we completely changed what we wanted to do for the replacement --went with a bamboo design.

Description of Work: John worked for us three times. Each time his craftsmanship was excellent. The most recent time he hung interior doors. He has also converted a sliding glass door and an adjacent window into a wall of French doors.

Description of Work: Installed 2 sets of large (4 panel ) french doors back in Nov 2006 We were and continue to be EXTREMELY satisfied with every single aspect of that job!! Really a great experience. Probably received this Angie's list input solicitation because we had John estimate a Patio Pergola cover last April -- did not contract with him --but not because we did not like his bid --we did not select anyone else---because we are instead considering incorporating the pergola into a much larger general backyard redesign & outdoor kitchen addition. In both bids John suggested ways we could reduce the costs --e.g.things that we could do ourselves, etc. He was very prompt, kept us fully informed and did great work!

+ -1 moreJohn Elmore was excellent. They are professional, knowledgeable, and conscientious. They are very skilled as well. They had the low bid and the person who gave the bid was also the person doing the work. I called 5 people and 2 of the people giving me the bid were not doing the work. Their skill really stands out the most to me. He cut the stucco and put the weather strip in before putting in the windows which was very helpful.
Description of Work: John Elmore replaced all of my windows.
