Description of Work: Full home remodel. Excellent workmanship. Very detail oriented, though sometimes the focus on detail slowed the process down. We are extremely happy with the results!

Description of Work: J Walsh Construction removed existing carpet and installed 620 square feet of hickory hardwood flooring; fabricated and installed 5 "radiused" stairs to match the flooring; removed existing baseboards and installed and painted new 4" baseboards; painted most of the downstairs including trim and doors; partially remodeled our downstairs bathroom; did some plumbing work in our laundry room; re-shaped drywall on our fireplace to create a flat face and constructed, finished and installed a new Hickory mantle to match the new flooring; sanded and repainted front door and installed new door handles; sanded handrail on stairs, stained & applied clear-coat to handrail and painted balusters and trim; removed existing second floor forced air unit and replaced with a new unit; fabricated a new plant shelf in the living room to match the hickory flooring; and sanded and painted a linen cabinet in the second floor hallway.

Description of Work: Install a new 40 foot long, 3 inch diameter ABS waste line (sewer pipe) for future 2nd bathroom & replace existing 50 yr old cast-iron main waste line from street to house slab, execate for both pipes, & obtain city permit for new waste line; & replace broken 20 yr old Jones-style main water valve on our side of city water meter.
