J & S Asphalt Paving Sealing

Provider was professional and very knowledgeable concerning paving and ashphalt procedures. We decided to go with another provider due to cost.

When they did the driveway they took off the top off the septic tank but I had told the supervisor that there was the septic tank under the driveway. The supervisor was not there when they took the top off and they said that was not their problem and they refused to pay for it. I turned it to my home owners and they paid for it. I assume they knew it was $4000-5000. I had to call them back to have them fix the curb. They also took out a water line underneath. They were taking out the old driveway and replacing it with the new one. One of their people fixed the water tank but he was not a plumber and it was very shoddy. A friend of my daughter came over who was a plumber and he said if someone drives on it, it would break. So he fixed it and A& J paid for it which was less than $400 but they did not pay for the septic tank. They did the damage and were not ready to fix it. Their work was okay.
