Description of Work: They installed my oven. Really friendly and professional and efficient installer, but the weight of the oven crunched the corner of a kitchen tile next to the oven wall. I don't really know if it was avoidable, so I never complained about it, but I'm also not entirely happy about it either. Nonetheless, I would use them again, but I'd also point out the problem and ask that the installer take the proper precautions.

 + -1 moreIn mutual agreement, we cancelled the installation after 30 minutes or so of discussions, etc. It cost us $50 for the visit by the Installer, but in my opinion we saved ourselves the cost of much of unnecessary work proposed by the Installer. As a result of this experience with the Installer, I would not use (nor recommend to others) this installer again to install my range/oven (or any other appliances) even if my Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey dinner depended on it! Bottom line: I am the Customer.
Description of Work: The Installer was sent by Home Depot to install our new slide-in electric Range/Oven in an island location with a granite counter top. It was mutually decided that we will cancel the installation, partly because the Installer indicated that he could not complete the work.

Description of Work: Mike came out to install my new double wall oven. He was fantastic ! He was neat, fast and very professional. It's hard to get into the corner where the wall oven is, but it was no problem for Mike. We had a problem with a circuit breaker which he quickly diagnosed. We were able to switch the breaker out while he was here and get the new appliance tested and up and running. He even gave me advice on how to get the plastic, new appliance smell out of the ovens, before we used it the 1st time. I would highly recommend the Installators. They are a family business and a pleasure to work with. The next time I need an appliance installed or some electrical work done, Im calling The Installators first !

 + -1 moreThis company was sent out by Home Depot of Encinitas because their regular installer, Ceva Logistics, was not equipped to install the over-the-range microwave oven we bought at Home Depot. Dena, at the Installators office, was extremely helpful and was polite enough to listen to my entire rant about the misadventure with Lowe's, where we started this microwave purchase. Mike and his helper, Todd, arrived on time and their truck had company identification. They were conscientious, professional, and cleaned up as they worked. They took extra care not to damage anything--especially the glass cooktop below. They kept me informed on what they were doing and asked my input when deciding if or how to resolve problems. They drilled extra holes in the tile backsplash. They discovered the builder put the vent in the wrong place and it had been squashed so it would fit. Mike enlarged the hole in the bottom of the cabinet and replaced the vent to correct the builder's mistakes. Installation ended up costing more than we anticipated but it was well worth it. Installators installs all types of appliances, including garbage disposals. They will pick up the merchandise at the store if you don't have it delivered to the job site.
Description of Work: Wish we would have known about this company before. There doesn't seem to be a category for "appliance installation" on Angie's List.

 + 0 moreHe was really good. He was helpful in recommendations for additional plumbing. He wasn't trying to sell me additional servics but he showed me things to look at in the future. It was a tough installation and he didn't add any additional fees. He did the job and cleaned up.
