Hot Springs Spa of San Diego

Description of Work: We purchased a spa from the Hot Springs Spa dealer in Mission Valley. It was delivered on a Saturday afternoon and the delivery team showed up without any equipment or materials to install and level the spa. The team leader indicated that prior to delivery somebody from Hot Springs Spa should have inspected the location to determine what was needed to properly install and level the spa. After utilizing our level and various materials, the spa was installed. I immediately noticed, in a prominent corner, a large gash in the paneling. I was assured by the team leader that the service department would contact me to replace the panel by the following Wednesday. There was never any follow-up by Hot Springs Spa. I made several calls to the sales person, always being assured that there would be follow-up. I never received a call, and ultimately spoke with the store manager/owner who disputed the comments by the team leader that there should have been a pre-installation inspection, and that he would contact the manufacturer and obtain a replacement panel. As has been their pattern all along, there was no follow-up, and had I know that Hot Springs Spa in Mission Valley provides such poor service, I never would have accepted the unit, and would have insisted that they deliver another unit without the gouge in the paneling.
