These guys are great! From initial phone call for estimate all the way to completion of installation - great customer service, no-pressure sales, friendly, considerate and professional. They all worked hard, worked well together and cleaned up upon completion. Great follow up to make sure there was complete understanding of new system. Thank you Jessie, Joe, Wayne, Taylor, Andrew, Nick and Ben! You all represent the reason for supporting a family run operation that takes pride in its work.

The job went smoothly. The team was very professional, on time, cleaned up their mess and made sure everything worked properly.

We would have liked more info on options available. There are rebates available for low energy units, but apparently we did not get one, though that was one of our main goals. Our unit is noisier than our old unit which we did not expect.

Extraordinarily friendly and expert service. Together, these guys can do anything. For the last several years I’ve been making a wish-list of every imaginable feature, and Guthrie and Sons built us a dream HVAC system that’s quiet, technologically advanced, efficient, and very powerful when needed. And it’s almost invisible except for the beautiful thermostats (Honeywell’s latest advanced color touchscreen) that I can control from my cell phone. (And they can manage humidity as well as temperature.) Nest thermostat is available, too. I knew that our home would be a very challenging retrofit, but Joe had some great ideas and Matt Guthrie is brilliant at assembling the various myriad components on paper, and designing efficient fluid airflow systems for difficult structures. Having an actual engineer like Matt design your duct system is a tremendous value, and he’s a great communicator. Our central air system now has 3 distinct zones that we can control independently, while filtering (via ultraviolet light and media) air throughout all 3 zones. It’s really an “air-quality” system, as Honeywell says, because the air filtration system makes a huge difference! Every level of our house is the exact same temperature, unless we deactivate a zone or two. And every corner has great air quality. For the physical installation, Andrew, Chuck, Daniel, Wayne, and Luke took ownership of all my requests, and made them all happen no matter how challenging. And it was really challenging. I wanted tons of functions and features, but I didn’t want any of it to be visible…not even any exterior conduit (Thanks Chuck!). These guys really exceeded my expectations. As Andrew says, “there are no problems—only solutions.” And what really impressed my was how upbeat, friendly (and dog-friendly) and efficient everyone was—because this was not an easy job. We really enjoyed having every one of these guys on the premises, and they regularly attend so much technical training that they are an absolute wealth of information and options. When our installation was complete, I drove in with a check so that I could personally thank them for a great job, and I was happy to meet Jesse and Amy. I also got to meet Wes Guthrie. He said he tells his sons, and the whole staff, to always “just do the right thing”. Great leadership, and they’re really doing it. Our HVAC system is amazing.

I called Gutherie & Sons upon the recommendation of commercial HVAC contractor. He sung their praises. He was right. The experience was pleasant and professional. Gutherie was very responsive. The technician performed a thorough inspection. He repaired the several problems quickly. The company followed up to determine whether I was satisfied. (Obviously, I was). I do not remember the cost, but I remember that I thought it was reasonable. I highly recommend Gutherie and Sons as knowledgeable, skilled, professional and courteous service providers. I will call them for all my heating and air conditioning needs.

On my personal residence: Solutions offered and repaired correctly. As a Real Estate agent I have referred them to numerous clients for inspections with recommendations of repairs if needed

They Guthrie brothers were very easy to work with. I explained what I wanted and they helped me fine tune exactly what I needed. Both experiences went very smoothly.

Everything went so well so we hired them again to install a system into a garage office remodel we did recently. Again, excellent service, great product and always guarantee everything they do - and respond immediately if any issues arise. We continue to use their services for twice a year maintenance and I am always impressed with them.

In 2014, they did not call for the spring A/C appt. Instead, they called in Sept. for the A/C service. I informed the young lady who called, that I was disappointed in their late call. She told me she had too much work to do to call. I was very surprised & disappointed w/ her answer & attitude. I let her know that we may not want to continue w/ them if this was the type to poor service loyal customers would receive. At that time, she let me know that they would refund the remaining money from the service contract & they did. My real surprise w/ this company after being a good loyal customer for 3 yrs, & spending a lot of money w/ them, was no follow-up call from the owners to find out what happened. So, be very aware of them. They did not treat us well & may do the same to you.

The Guthrie technician found several things wrong with the installation and provided us with a list of items to ask Sears to correct. This was invaluable and Sears provided a new technician who came and Guthrie-suggested corrections to resolve our issues with a $13,000 (!!!!) HVAC system that initially, would not cool below 80 degrees.

We were very happy with Guthrie and Sons. Our old furnace was in a very small closet-like space, and it was an extremely tight/tricky fit for the new one. Initially it didn't seem like it was going to work, but they got creative and came back with a solution. Plus they were just nice people, very honest and professional. That was about 6 years ago. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again the next time I need anything.

We can't say enough great things about the company. They are reliable, prompt, honest, and great technicians. While they may not be the most inexpensive in town, they are certainly reasonably priced, we trust them, and they do excellent work.

Great no problems we have been using Guthry and Sons for 6 years now. They come twice a year to service our heating and Air conditioning unit.

It went seamlessly. They arrived on time, they were polite and efficient, they were considerate. They explained the system, the thermostat, the remote, the emergency shut offs, the warranties. They helped us with the financing and made sure we were totally satisfied with the work and the products. It was a large purchase but one that desperately needed to be made and will improve the quality of our lives as long as we are in the home. I look forward to continuing to rely on Guthrie and Sons for all of our maintenance and heater and AC needs.

Installation was great. My only complaint was their contract language that mislead me into thinking that they would provide the painting/finishing work after the wall heater installations. The language was indeed confusing, and they agreed after the fact. To their great credit, the agreed to pay 1/2 of the cost of the finishing repairs due to the confusion. THAT is the sign of a great company. Thank you Guthrie & Sons.

Not only did they have all the supplies needed "on the truck" (even though my home 30 years + old), they had it all fixed up and working pretty quickly.

They were clean, professional, and really great with communication. They obviously take pride in their work. I had another contractor doing a few odd jobs in my home a few years after the installation. He was just scoping out our place and mentioned what an amazing job the people did when they installed our AC/Heat. I couldn't agree more! I've recommended them to others anytime someone has asked about AC.
