He was quick to come out for the estimate. He was even quicker to leave. He said "Good luck finding someone to do it for less". Less being $35,000 his verbal quote. It was clear to me he did not want the job. He even went so far as to say he had plenty of work to keep him busy.

Toby was referred by our landscape designer and we felt very comfortable with him from the initial meeting. He was able to provide a quote based upon our first meeting as well as a copy of our landscape plans. He was very understanding of our budget concerns and assisted us in determining which design elements could be deferred or minimized. Throughout the whole process, he was available to listen to our day to day concerns and was also able to handle some very minor design changes. Included in his price was a visit to one of the local nurseries to assist in picking out the plants for the landscaping portion of the job. Toby and his crew were able to work without us having to micromanage the whole process and yet we were consulted on the major decisions.
