Gold Coast Flood Restorations

On all three visits (estimate, taking out the damaged walls and setting up the filters/dryers, and taking the filters out) they were timely, polite, clear in their explanations and efficient in their work. They set up a plastic barrier to enclose the space that needed to be repaired and all of the equipment in a few hours a day or two after the estimate. The work was done on a Thursday and they were back on Monday to take out their equipment. They gave me a referral to two people who could do the reconstruction and left the space thoroughly closed with heavy plastic so that no animals could get into the house.

As stated I was extremely satisfied and would refer others to this company and would use them again!

Took two weeks to get the job proposal back which he blamed on getting really sick after coming into the house that was interesting. He is probably a nice enough guy just a strange initial interaction

We hired Gold Coast to do a mold inspection of the house since we were smelling something funky in our garage. They came out and did a very thorough inspection and answered all of our questions in a very professional and pleasant manner. Would use again in a heartbeat!

It went really well! They arrived on time and were very professional as well as personable. Mark led the team and did a great job of explaining each step of the operation. They left the area super clean after they finished and they even shored up a cabinet floor that was damaged by water that needed repair so the fans could reach the area. After 3 days they returned to pick up the fans and humidifier and made sure the dry out was complete. I was impressed with their knowledge of mold and water damage control for plumbing leaks. They inspected the areas in question and measured for wetness in areas I had not even considered being a problem but they wanted to make sure they were not missing anything . I was afraid the fans and humidifier would make a ton of noise but they were relatively quiet in comparison to the fans companies used to use. When Gold Coast arrived they themselves made very little noise in prepping areas and getting to work. I work from home so it was important to me that I had some quiet so I could work and I was not bothered by the work at all. I would use them again and was super thrilled at how quickly they were able to get out to our condo right before the holidays!

Gold Coast Flood did work at our El Cajon facility back in May, 2013. They did a wonderful job. We had a flood in our second floor bathroom that soaked through the floor and down to our foyer on the first floor. When we called Gold Coast Flood they sent out a crew in a very timely manner to address our emergency. From the beginning of the process, both the office team and the techs that game to our site were very professional and communicated very well on the status of their work. The techs identified everywhere the water had soaked into and walked us through the work that needed to be done to fix the damage. They addressed only the areas affected by the flood and while tearing flooring and drywall, they kept in mind that we needed to put the place back together and addressed all our needs while doing the work. Gold Coast Flood's Office manager, Mike Belk, was also extremely professional and not only communicated well with us, but gave us tips for what we needed to think about for putting things back together and dealing with our insurance company. At the end of the day it was a pleasure working with Gold Cost Flood. We have set Gold Coast Flood as our primary contractor for any other flood issues we may have at all our other facilities. We recommend them highly.

It went well. all the wet wall is dry and removed wet carpet , removed some drywall for mold control etc.

Everything went great They arrived shortly after they were called and went right to work. They were very professional, efficient and polite. Very happy with their service.

They came out on the 30th of September. They put all the equipment up due to a flood from upstairs that lead down to the downstairs. They cut out part of the ceiling and wall that got wet. They brought out the dehumidifier and fans. They had it all here for about a week and then came out and cleaned it all up. One thing nice too is they came during the week to check on the moisture levels and how it was being taken care of. They were very through, corgile, and nice. They came back out where they had a dehumidifier that does give off a lot of heat, they put up a barricade so that it would not go into the bedroom upstairs. They were good at keeping us posted as to when they would come out.

They first came out about August 20th. They then came back on September 18th, and then again on October 21st for the final inspection. I used them and they were absolutely superb. I had a whole situation and Mike was the main guy I spoke to throughout these past 2 months. He told me the order of what I needed to do/to get done to resolve my issues. He also gave me referrals, both who were fantastic! They were so nice, they followed up, they were professional. They have great customer service and are very dependable. They are also thorough and they really steered me in the right direction. They were just so friendly, energetic and professional over the phone too; like I was talking to a friend.

I had a flood and they helped dry my place. It ended up getting turned over to another company due to the insurance company. I did enjoy the service that they did provide for me. The man who came out was helpful, calm, and informative. It was the first that I had ever used them. They had reasonable prices. I was happy with their service.

Gold Coast Flood Restorations came promptly and did a good job.They repaired the flooded area for painting. I would use them again. All the following letter grades can be answered with– good.

They were excellent and they came out about 6 months ago. Two parts of my daughters room were wet due to heavy rain. I had them come out, remove some drywall and check to make sure there was no mold. They also brought in a fan to dry it and everything was fine in the end. About two of their guys came out to do this and this was the first time that I used them; I found them off Angie’s List. They also really cleaned up really well and came out when they said they would.

They are very good. We used them about a month ago and it had to do with a water leak. They came and removed everything that had to be removed and did a great job at it. They had to remove everything that was affected from the water leak in a kitchen wall; they removed all the wet and damaged areas. They also dried everything that had to be dried. They were very efficient, did a good job and we were very satisfied. They were also polite and knowledgeable. We heard about them from Angie’s List!

I called in the middle of the night and they came out in a reasonable amount of time considering the time. I thought they did the work pretty efficiently. They cleaned up as well as could be expected. They followed up. I didn't have the opportunity to compare prices beforehand, so I don't know if their cost was reasonable or not, but Mike B. was willing to work with me regarding the cost and using the coupon. He was helpful. The guys who came out were nice, pleasant. I think I would use them in the future, but I would like to compare prices first.

Efficient ,professional ,friendly , informative, and clean. No mold was found but past water damage and high humidity were diagnosed. They could have told me that they had found all kinds of mold and run up the $$$$....also the the lead and asbestos ,of which they found none. But they have integrity and remediated a must lesser problem . All that was needed was to cut a few holes in the back of the cupboards to get to the previous old water damage and to set up a dehumidifier and warm air fans for 5 days to eliminate the musty smell. They always cleaned up after themselves and wore booties over there shoes. They explained everything they found and what they would be doing. Checked up on their word during the five days. Great people and very comfortable to work with !!!

Reports were provided informing issues and resolutions, and provided cost breakdown. Job was done quickly and efficiently.

We had extensive mold damage throughout my entire high-rise building condo. The damage resulted from negligence of a HOA contractor who ran hot water in the bath to flush the air from the valves. The worker failed to return to the condo and turn the water off. The condo was sealed for 10 days with extremely hot water running creating a sauna effect. The steam caused mold to grow everywhere, wood floors to buckle, doors to warp, fixtures to rust, etc. The unit was not only uninhabitable, but not accessible for extended periods of time without protective equipment. The quality of service and the professionalism and responsiveness of the company are second to none. The job was done within the timelines quoted and I was kept abreast of any issues that arose as they worked. My questions were answered promptly and with sufficient detail. I was treated with respect. At all times, I had 100% confidence in the quality of the work. I would most certainly recommend Gold Coast.

Representatives arrived on time for the appointment, efficiently undertook testing and provision of estimate, and conducted each of the tasks described above quickly and expeditiously.

Gold Coast did an outstanding job resolving my water damage from a 10 year old water heater that failed and damaged the surrounding wall area in my garage. The water shut off valve to my condo and the shut off valve by the water heater both failed and would not close. If we could have secured those valves, the damage wouldn't have been as bad. I rent this unit and needed this fixed asap. With the exception of replacing the water heater, they managed the entire repair (even the replacement of the dry wall). They coordinated with my tenant and finished this in a few days. They were very professional and answered all my questions. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. Very good customer service from the initial phone call and all they way down to the service technician. My first choice if I ever have water damage again.

Gold Coast is simply fantastic. The service from Joe, Mike and the Gold Coast crew exceeded all of our expectations, including their responsiveness, reasonable costs, timeliness, and expert work. Gold Coast was a pleasure to deal with, even under less than great circumstances with the mold and water damage to our condo. We wanted a company that we could trust and would do a great job in a short amount of time, and Gold Coast certainly came through. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The people who worked for Gold Coast were very courteous and gave me daily up dates. They kept me well informed of the progress and gave me a reasonable time line which I very much appreciated.

Went well from start to finish! After purchasing a deal from Angie's List, I was contacted within hours, and scheduled for just a couple business days later. The men were prompt, courteous and thorough. And I was pleased with the result- no current evidence of moisture leaks or mold. It helps me rule out one source of allergy irritant! I was a little sorry they didn't do air sample testing, but they referred me to another company that does and recommended them highly. I got a good tutorial on how molds grow and what to look for to detect moisture damage. I would definitely call Gold Coast in the future if I suspect leakage!
