My experience with them was very good. They did a free estimate and they were very honest and upfront about their recommendations. They were fairly expensive; the fans that they recommended were $200 a day.

This was a team of professionals that I would highly recommend to anyone. They arrived on time, stayed until the job was completely done and stayed with their original quote even though the job ended up being more complex than they originally thought. All of the men that worked on this job worked extremely hard on this job. This is a company I would highly recommend.

Gold Coast also did the initial flood restoration. Flood restoration services were very reasonable, but mold remediation is costly. This company knows what they are doing and are very professional. Joe Columbo worked with me to help reduce the costs of the mold remediation (which was not all covered by insurance). I coordinated directly with other contractors instead of having Gold Coast do it, which helped lower costs. Joe was very responsive and willing to work with a difficult tenant. I didn't get a second estimate because Gold Coast came recommended from Angie's List and I was in a hurry to get the work done quickly.

They pulled out all the bad wood and dried things out. They replaced the old wood and replaced the drywall. They added anti-fungal chemicals. They actually referred me to other companies to do the drywall restorations. They were very professional and courteous as well.

Gold Coast was chosen over three competitors since owner was a licensed contractor (some in this business are not!), since they take credit cards, since they were within $200 of the least expensive, and most importantly, they had the most sophisticated comprehension of the causes of the problem. Once they began, they were professional in every respect: trustworthy, efficient, communicated well to us when issues arose and responded quickly when we needed to reach them. We never had any doubts about their professionalism or honesty. They uncovered problems in parts of the home that competitors had not considered to be a problem, but we could objectively see for ourselves the need for additional work. They did the additional work and did not take advantage of us by overcharging. The job supervisor, Kurt, knows the trade as well as the owner, Joe. We felt like we were in good hands with either of them through the whole process.

Very well. All employees, both at office and on site, were very professional. The entire project to remove the mold and dry the area took about a week. They always kept me appraised on what was going on. They arrived promptly on time each day. The site was kept extremely clean.

It was an extensive job and there was drywall involved and everything. However, they did not have to do as much as they thought they were going to have to do. They did really well and I am very happy with the way things turned out. I thought they were professional and all went well. I would recommend them and I would definitely use their services again if I needed to.

Gave me an estimate and included Angie's List discount; accepted estimate and they immediately started work; returned to check on progress next day (after my insurance got involved) and cut more drywall, moved fans and dehumidifiers; came back two days later to check moisture and cut more drywall in one area then removed fans and dehumidifiers.

Gold Coast came in and immediately began to stop the bleeding so to speak by drying the floors and walls as needed. They weren't pushy. They made recommendations I chose not to go with, (which I found to be a mistake)and they were as little a bother to the household as possible. They also billed my insurance, and when there was problems as to whether or not my insurance or the manufacturer of the faucet should pay for the damages, Gold Coast stepped up to the plate when they didn't have to, and took care of everything without expecting me to do anything. They never even tried to charge me for all of their dealings with the insurance company. They are quite the company and I highly recommend them.

I have been extremely worried about moisture in the middle of the carpeting in a bedroom in the lower level of my house. I suspected that I had a slab crack and that landscape water was seeping through. I feared enormous expense and disruption. I was expecting the worst. The technicians used a moisture detector which confirmed that the wet area was about two feet in diameter in the middle of the room with no moisture evident any place else. In examining the moisture itself, they determined that it was not water but something with an oil or possibly silicon base. There advice was to clean the area really well and to dry it. They did not charge me anything. Believe me,if I ever have another moisture or mold type of problem, I will call this company immediately.

I was very pleased with my experience with Gold Coast. Every day that they said they were coming, they arrived within the half-hour time window they had given me. I liked that they had email as a delivery option for estimates and invoices. The workers were friendly and very conscientious, and they were able to start right away! A minor complaint: the plastic film they put down to protect the carpet in my bedroom from their equipment left a bit of a sticky residue when I removed it. This may have been due to the unseasonably humid weather we had. I was able to take care of it by using a sponge mop on the carpet and then using fans to dry it. By the way, they had offered to remove the film themselves at the end of the job, but suggested I might want to leave it for the reconstruction. Had I let them remove it, I'm sure they would have resolved things themselves. The remediation was not inexpensive, but I wanted it done carefully and correctly. I was not at all disappointed.

I called Gold Coast on the advice of my plumber when I noticed some sponginess in the wall behind my shower tile. They were able to send someone out within three hours. The two men arrived 10 minutes early and were very friendly and courteous. When I told them I intended to replace the tile and drywall myself, they discussed the probability of finding mold and gave me free advice on how to do the job safely. I felt much more prepared after talking with them. While this was not a situation in which I ended up needing their services, I would definitely hire Gold Coast if the need arose.

WATER LEAK IN THE UPSTAIRS BATHROOM LEAD TO WATER FLOODING THE CARPET AND INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE. GOLD COAST CAME PROMPTLY, GAVE A FREE ESTIMATE AND WERE AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE WORK THAT DAY. UNFORTUNATELY MY PROPERTY MANAGER HAS DELAYED THE WORK. I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN GOLD COAST THAT WHEN THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO PERFORM THE WORK, THE JOB WILL BE WELL DONE. I WANT TO COMMEND THEM ON THEIR PROFESSIONALISM.

WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. ARRIVED 30 MINUTES AFTER CALL AT 2:00 IN THE MORNING. THEY MADE US FEEL CONFORTABLE IMMEDIATELY.
