Mike, Joe, and the rest of the Gold Coast crew were INCREDIBLE. We were referred to them for aggressive mold that was unfortunately caused by poor ventilation and construction of our new home. They were beyond prompt, transparent, and professional and ensured that our situation was handled with the highest level of detail and quality. The communication and follow-up that the whole company provided put us at ease (as much as possible for the stressful situation). They managed to get the project wrapped up before promised and cleared/certified within that timeline as well. What's more, they helped us with a temporary solution to ensure that we would still have access to the portion of our house while we waited for construction to come rebuild. Our household needed someone to assess what we thought was mold on the underside of our roof, in the attic. Joe at Gold Coast called me back immediately, and at his request, I texted him some photos of the suspect mold. He replied that he thought we could likely do the clean up ourselves and told us how. If the time comes for future need for mold clean up, we'll definitely call Gold Coast.

The entire team at Gold Coast- Joe, Mike and Pat were true professionals. Their thorough inspection, remediation and communication with myself an the insurance was five star. They explained every step and were extremely helpful with the insurance claim. They were always available for any questions and what above and beyond! They were like family having the best interest in doing what was right. 5 stars!

very well. it took a lot of time. we like the 2 mikes and george a lot. they accommodated my schedule which helped a lot. because of their work, our kitchen was able to pass an inspection conducted by an independent tester. they produced a 40 page final report that help our insurance company approved payment.

We had a pinhole leak in a copper fitting in the wall behind an upstairs bathroom. There was water damage to the walls in an adjacent closet and a lot of damage to the ceiling of the room below. After the repair, Gold Coast was recommended by our plumber, who I trust. They assessed the moisture levels in the lower room ceiling and upstairs bathroom and closet floors, decided what needed to be done and then provided the services and drying equipment in each room. They removed drywall from the ceiling and walls in order to dry everything out. It took eight days to dry everything out and they were able to save the bathroom tile and vanity from tear out, which would have been much more work to replace. All the Gold Coast people are excellent to work with and they exhibit a high degree of courtesy and professionalism. They did a thorough job of documenting everything for insurance. I would definitely use them again highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with their courtesy and professionalism. They were prompt, neat, and fair. There was a bit of miscommunication in terms of contacting our insurance initially, but other than that, they were great to work with. We actually had two separate jobs (one through our homeowner’s insurance and one that was not going through insurance). They did a great job of documenting everything for insurance, and also making clear what the two separate jobs were. I would definitely use them again and/or recommend them.

Gold Coast staff was very professional and friendly. The workplace was immaculate. They had great equipment and set-up expertise to keep drywall dust to a minimum. Would definitely use again.

It went really well. He was on time, and knew what he was doing. He made everything look really nice. He even did extra work by removing my popcorn ceiling. He went beyond what was required.

Gold Coast team were very thorough in their work, and although the job took longer than they anticipated, because of additional areas of remediation that was needed after the abatement crew had removed some asbestos contaminated walls, all work was completed in a reasonable time, and done thoroughly. All the onsite team were polite and friendly, and Mike Belk,their General Manager was very helpful in explaining everything that was needed to be done at each step of the way.

They did a good job. They were very responsive. They came out and gave me an estimate, but they charged me $75, so there was a fee for the estimate.

Highly recommend this company. Everyone was very polite and professional. All work was performed and completed on schedule.

Everyone at Gold Coast was easy to work with and efficient. They worked really well with our insurance company. As a result it was less stressful than it could have been. They made it so that our day to day life was not interrupted. We highly recommend them.

Very professional staff, a pleasure to do business with, didn't take any shortcuts, handled split responsibilities to homeowner and insurance well, communicated promptly. Took out exactly the damaged areas...didn't go further or less than required. Only areas where they could have been better -- a) removal of floor wrapping/protection they put in before they leave and b) arrive sooner after an emergency -- they couldn't come out until the morning after damage occured...so basically 12-24hrs. One thing to be aware of is that Gold Coast does remediation only, another company is required to perform restoration.

There were two guys at one time, but I think there were four that came to the house. A week. (Inaudible at 2:08)The area was cleaned. They did a good job.

They solved our problem. Mike, Pat and George were very professional in diagnosing the problem and offering solutions.

Gold Coast was able to help us quickly and efficiently. We had an undetected water leak in an upstairs bathroom that affected the large wood vanity, the wall behind it, a staircase, and the closet downstairs under the area. Pat and Chris were prompt, explained everything thoroughly, and were able to do the work with a minimum of damage to the vanity and walls. They took extra care to make sure we would have the smallest amount of repairs while making sure the remediation was done correctly and for a reasonable fee (let us use the Angie's List coupon too) When we called with a concern about one of the fans it was necessary to use for a few days, they immediately called us back and solved the problem. Besides the complete professionalism everyone with whom we had contact displayed, they were nice people to work with!

Pat and Ryan arrived to do the work and were very professional. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and gave me options on how I wanted to proceed with removing the mold. They made sure all the furniture was covered with plastic and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend Gold Coast but more so, recommend Pat and Ryan.

I experienced water damage in my condo recently in every room of my house except my bedroom. My Farmers Agent recommended Gold Coast so I went with them. From start to finish Mike Belk and Kurt and his crew (who worked on site) were efficient, friendly, professional and communicative at every turn regarding what they were doing and what was going to happen next. I would not hesitate to recommend them in the least. They were absolutely terrific!

At a plumber's suggestion, I looked for a flood remediation company to assess whether any work might be required to deal with the small leak that had dampened the drywall adjacent to our water heater. I found Gold Coast on AngiesList and called them on April 2. They said they could send someone on April 5, and suggested I set up a fan in the meantime. Their technician inspected the area on April 5, and tested the drywall with a moisture sensor. They found no issue, and said there would be no charge for their service.

Gold Coast was great to work with and extremely helpful during a very stressful time. Gold Coast went above & beyond the call of duty and got the job done as quickly and painlessly as possible. They were the most professional, courteous and diligent restoration team I have ever encountered.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that went on for two days while we were out of town over Thanksgiving. The water soaked through the floor and left a puddle in the garage. It was a stressful situation to come home to, but the guys at Gold Coast took care of us and the situation. They were all courteous and worked seamlessly with our insurance. The only negative comment I have is that they did not let me know the schedule for the follow up work. I had to leave a message to find out when they would be returning to finish up the job, but they never called me back. Luckily, I was home when they came by. For me this is a minor oversight. I would use them again.

Kurt and his crew came in and completed a two and a half hour inspection of our house after another flood restoration company gave us only fifteen minutes of their time. After hiring them, Gold Coast monitored the house quite frequently due to water wicking from our slab and into most of the structure in the back part of our house (family room, kitchen, powder room, pantry). They were very knowledgeable with insurance codes and dealt with my insurance company directly when I asked them to. While it was miserable to have their machines running for about a month due to the extreme amount of damage, we feel that Kurt and crew kept our house from further water and mold damage.
