He came out initially to test our pressure and to verify parts required etc. I had to dig to expose the incoming pipe (easy, as I knew the general location it entered the home) and he installed all of it at the agreed second appt time. A little more about them; we had first contact with GK Plumbing when we were managing an apartment complex in Hillcrest. They were the property management's contracted plumbers. Whenever we needed anything fixed, they were there ASAP and always ready to help. Wen we bought our home and moved into the suburbs, my wife and I found the need for a reliable plumber whom we trusted and had a verifiable relationship with. We called them, and GK has been the only plumber to service our property since we bought 2 years ago. Whether it be a dishwasher install main water shutoff and regulator, or a gas stove install (moving from an electric stove) they have served us reasonably and always ON TIME!
Description of Work: We realized we were running water pressures above 130 (very high) and had them install a pressure regulator on the main water supply to the home. Our main water shutoff supply had quit working so they also put a main shutoff in.

Description of Work: Cleared slow bathtub drain. I couldn't get my snake past a certain point. Their power snake was finally able to navigate past that point and enlarge the drain to restore flow.

+ -1 moreRequested a quote to discuss sewer line replacement + related tasks. David arrived on a Wed at the scheduled window of time. We reviewed the work needed. Received a voicemail the following Mon letting me know that he was working on finishing my quote. Never heard from him again. I was eager to work with G/K Plumbing because of a referral from a family member, plus reviews on Angie's List. Unfortunately, the inability to follow up with an estimate leaves me with too many doubts.
Description of Work: Visited my house to evaluate work required and to provide an estimate.
